    This one is ordered and hopefully on the way. Getting back into this system. Always liked the MBT, IDF series, so I've jumped in with both feet! All modules ordered or here already. Thanks for the videos.

      Thanks for the view. Hope you like the update versions. Lot the same but some differences from the older '80s games. This also give the feel of what AH Tobruk should have evolved to be.

      @@campsawyer so far I like the differences. Love the solitaire rules too. Fog of war is always fun.

      @@Teufelhunde87 Yes, the solitaire rules are extensive are more guidelines and allow for you to fight the "enemy" without a script. The number of games I have played solo so far I have always been surprise at some point and I need to change my plan.

      Just got my Panzer North Africa last night. Just finished cutting out the units and they are now in their Aegis storage containers. Tomorrow will be corner clipping on the units, game cards and charts.
      Can't wait to sort through the manuals and absorb it all.

    I think when the game starts, all the enemy hidden units should have OW Commands by default. Also, according to the hidden units rules, a hidden unit is auto revealed if it does Direct Fire - but it's unclear whether the solo rules change this.

    Thanks for the stream. I have the game, reading the advance rules. This is what I wanted a good stream of a large scenario. Areas I want to understand are artillery and air, although no air support in this one, I am hoping the oba replicates that process.
    Surprised you move the Italian armour in so close given their armour..
    The Italians heavy losses for turn 1 in the armour. I fear for those tanks in the second turn... Will the bot try to take out the command tank....
    Looking forwards to the next turn.

      Thanks for the view. Artillery and air are different rules, but they are generally similar being simple once you have used them a couple of times. As for the armor, yes I am worried about them, but I want the track movement bonus. Off road in Panzer is very slow and I want to keep them moving. The solo bot goes after the closest units with variability for strength. Command units have taken down there pennants for the battle :-)

      @@campsawyer thanks for the reply and I await eagerly your next move. So the command tanks no longer stand out... I was looking at that scenario last night. The artillery , looking forward to seeing how it works and the FO.

    Are the solo rules included in Panzer North Africa?

    it makes no sense at all how a unit that doesn't exist, knocks out a unit 9 hexes away by other 3 units out side of that 9 hex overwatch range, all results from a fake unit can not in all logic take out tanks that nothing shot at... fog of war or no fog of war...

      Thanks for the view. Logically, I agree, but there needs to be a bit a tilt to the defender on this. I have toyed around with having a +DRM for any units that get hit on the Activation, but I found that this had little difference due the continued randomness.
