Floyd vs Conor was definitely not a bust. I actually had a fight party and it was packed. In fact when I order the fight on Comcast it actually crashed. So many orders were coming in the system crashed. I missed some of the opening fights but I got to see the entire main event. Afterwards, I did get a refund because of the early technical difficulties.

This McGregor Chandler 'fight' turned into a pure clown fiesta back around September when TUF had ended and the parties involved didn't have anything close to an actual plan on how to make the fight happen, but at the same time the UFC had promised the fans it will happen in 2023.
But under the current circumstances, first of all Conor seems to be facing more serious problems again, I mean he is a different person on every level at this point. Apart from that, who knows when he will get in there to fight even when he is allowed to, we all know Conor's word isn't to be taken that seriously since 2016.
As for Chandler having just waited for 13 months ('til now), it just confirmed one thing greats of the sport and of the business like Chael P. Sonnen have stated; It's always about the money.
People forget that the highlight in life may be the octagon, but that is commercialized. There are people in this world that are stronger, tougher, and better fighters than anybody that has fought in the octagon. And there is always somebody better. There is always somebody better they might not have been seen they might not have been picked. They might not even fight commercially, butpeople should shut their mouth and realize that just because you fought in the octagon does not mean you are the toughest person in the world. I have been to pit parties in the outback of Maine, where people would totally destroy people that are elite in the octagon.
Great take Chael. Conor has been mishandled by the UFC. Conor also has the power to do what he wants, so he is 50% to blame. He should have been active with fighters outside the top 5, he aimed too high, one foot in boxing, one in mma, alcohol, drugs, roids, movie, documentary, partying and traveling. No focus, no aim.
