I have never missed a DDP fight for the past 10 years. Chael needs to catch up. Everybody I saw on social media were happy that finally the only deserved contender in the MW division got his well deserved title shot.
And i never knew Dricus existed untill Adesanya called him.
Now having watched 2 of his fights i can confidently say he is not a Champion Material.

@williammoore1980 I honestly feel like Sean is a solid professional enough to keep his composure and fight smart regardless. Especially when I read some of the things he's putting out. The fact that he's kinda putting child abuse victims on his back just makes a win for him mean a qlot! It's a lot of pressure and I'm honestly 50/50 but I'm pulling for Sean and I'm probably gonna drop a couple bucks on it too just for fun lol! I just wish there was a way Sean could develop that killer knockout punch. His stance just isn't conducive to super heavy power shots and he just does not have that short shot knockout power a lot of guys have. But some people have said that about Jon Jones at a few points in his career as well.

I just thought of two things. One, Dana probably put Sean and DDP near each other bc he was hoping for something to happen to add to the story of the fight. Also, you know, Dana is in the fight business, and with the Chimaev/Diaz debacle, and a few other fight mixups, I’m sure when they make these cards they have a plan b or plan c to shift to if the buzz or sales aren’t what they expect. And they sort of take care of the guys either monetarily or with opportunities in the future.

I like chaels content. I would just like to point out: he did multiple vids on ddp vs whittaker not being a contenders match cause 8weeks turnaround is not enough time. Afterward when ddp said he didnt have enough time, chael starting saying he buckled.

Usman would be a good backup in my opinion if he is not injured, he has a story to create with both DDP and Strickland the only thing holding him back is his loss to Chimaev makes him 0-1 at middleweight but I think everyone would understand him being a backup given the circumstances of the middleweight division.

Strickland and DDP has been the fight since Strickland took the belt. Chimaev was never a fight we wanted to see. If Chimaev stays at middle weight he should at least get 3 more wins before being considered.

There's no way the UFC is going to book either of them on 300. Even if this ends with a five-second KO, a three month turnaround is unlikely on what is supposedly the most stacked card in years.
