I got my cs590 from home depot and I paid $399.00 I also have echo 2620 hand held leaf blower that is really great. Echo is made in Japan. Japan makes great quality. Not to mention Toyota, Honda, Lexus to name. Great product and excellent price 👌
Sorry for the late response Albertkazemian603 ! You are right my friend ! Dead on they do make great products I wish I would have done my research on a small echo trim saw 😔
For those not really familiar with Echo chainsaws, the CS-590 (Timber Wolf) & professional grade CS-620P are basically the same saw (both 59.8 cc). Unless you find one on sale a CS-590 will run about $450 with a 20" bar/chain, & the CS-620P would be about $630. The extra $180 dollars will give you two piston rings instead of one, an aluminum handle versus plastic, a metal cover over the bar/chain instead of plastic. Don't quote me on this, but you can check this out for yourself. Besides all that, they run about the same. So you would need to decide what's important to you. Many feel the $400 (power head) Timber Wolf is one of the best 60 cc chainsaw values. It has some power, & it will pull a larger 3/8" pitch chain.
I didn’t know all that driftlesshunter it’s very good that you shared that info 👍I just know it’s going to get worked hard until spring and I’m really impressed by it🤟
I purchased a saw year: 2013($200) well used still very strong on Lewis Winch, 2017($200)had less than ten tanks of gas through its cutter, 2020($200) had red gas from the dealership less than one tank. All three purchased off Craigslist. All I've done is muffler, air filter mod, and re tune accordingly. They are my bucking saws for Oregon Ash, Red/White Oak, Walnut and Douglas Fir. Run 24" bars all day running full comp and full skip tooth. They eat well with no four stroke issues. Run very cool. 7310P is next.
The 590 likes to let fines through the air filter is about the only drawback. Keep a clean filter and make sure it has a good seal to the carb! Nice little saw!

Echo chainsaws cannot be beat for value! I did a good amount of research when I realized that I needed a 60cc saw. Nothing can touch the Timberwolf for price and power. The Husqvarna 460 Rancher makes noticeably less power
I have a Proyama chainsaw, and I will say that this Proyama chainsaw is better than my Stihl and Husqvarna ones. It has plenty of power and it's easy to maintain. There's no kickback at all and even with the included chain it cut pretty quick and very clean. using the included chains I cut some pretty large logs. It's certainly not light and could probably be a little better balance but I don't do this for a living so I'm fine with it. The two bars are a very well built and very sturdy. Idle is perfect out of the box. Chain brake works and is essential. The included safety equipment actually does a good job. The ear muffs and face mask are not the best quality material but they both will certainly protect your hearing and most definitely your face from flying chips. The face mask screen unexpectedly heavy duty. The gloves at best will keep any sweat off your hands and prevent it from slipping. The gas can is very handy!
Add a tie wrap to the side handle. Measure 16" from edge of bar. Cut it to length. You'll be buckin' 16" logs. When net in use or in the way, slide the tip towards the saw.

I used to do a lot of tree work in Ohio. I used nothing but Echo & one Husky (3120 for all you enthusiasts!). I moved down to South Texas about 10 years ago and sold all but 2 of my saws. The only 2 I brought down here where 2 top handled limbing saws. I needed a 20” to go cut some bigger mesquite. I bought a Stihl. Very, very disappointed. I can’t keep this saw running consistently for anything. I wish I hadn’t sold my CS680 before moving. That saw was a beast!!!!

Thanks for the comment Hayden ! I know so far zero problems with the echo👍
Good choice, having two Echos they became my favorite, next to my Husky and an old Pioneer.
I don't like Stihl one bit, even though I'm a German, I gave it to my pal just to get it out of my sight.
Thanks for the comment John ! I hear ya ! But I will say I’ve got 2 small ms170 Stihl saws for tiny stuff one old one and one new one both get the job done , but the old can give you a workout to start 😩

590 wolf is the best saw ever
Thanks Richard for the comment! I agree I really like mine 👍
I can't speak for professional use but I will say I highly recommend this Proyama saw for home use and I would most certainly buy one again if I needed.
Great review
Thanks Rico -outdoors970 ! I was pretty pleased with it had it a year along with the log splitter bout time for after 1 yr review 👍

The value of this chainsaw is amazing and costs less than 1/2 of the name brands and does just as good or better job.

That’s good to know Wayne I’m not familiar with that brand but I’m going to check it out ! Thanks for the comment
WOW, I just looked up that saw and see the whole kit with extra bars, case, ear protection, Face shield, gloves and dust mask was only $209.00 on Amazon and 62cc.. How well does it perform if used all day cutting?
@@rocketmann8333get the 68cc for 249. It's a 60cc saw in American measure. They are hot out of the box. Only slightly less power than a 562xp on paper.
