I've made like a twenty songs in Suno until i found Udio. But for me Udio sounds cheaper so i'm trying to find the reason.

Udio supasses suno imo, but Udio is very bad at underground music like all underground genres like hard techno, psytrance, industrial for ex. Udio really good for more mainstream music and way better than suno at orchestral movie music.

Bangers for nowadays, but it doesn't make new styles of music yet. It is feeded with music online, so it gives bangers, yes, but not bangers that innovate (yet), not enough controls over the output we want yet, if they make it like a DAW, with sequencer etc, yeah, at this point we'll be able to talk about music revolution. But this is puting tons of people jobless also. And as anybody can make 10 songs/day, internet will be over saturated and in the end, nobody will listen to the songs everybody prompt. Only the music industry will profit 100% from it, producing at low cost 100% royalty back music.

These models seem just like diffusion models - sometimes they miss, sometimes you get a banger!

Amazing video! By the way, Udio has an "extend" feature if you click the three-dotted button you will be able to see it. You can add to the track, create an outro, etc... I think you can extend it for up to 4 or 5 minutes.
Yes, he can make an other video exploring all the features of Udio, it's cheap to subscribe for one month.
This was my exact reaction when using Suno! Great video. This was fun to watch :)
SUNO creates very catchy melodies, but if you use it for a long time, you begin to notice the same melodic moves. UDIO has much more varied melodies and more complex arrangements and harmonies. In UDIO it is more difficult to create a good long composition than in SUNO, but as a result it turns out better and more interesting. Plus in UDIO, of course, the quality of sound and, especially, vocals is much higher.
I have already created several songs in various styles in SUNO and UDIO using my own lyrics. Here are some examples:

Interesting. I was going off of first impressions. I think both are worth exploring to achieve what you want.
Yeah I was gonna say udio vocals are less tinny most of the time. It gets messed up with a duet though. Both are fun and good though and hopefully we'll get an open source one that's good eventually
For using udio for several month as a musician sneaking for inspiration, i can tell you Udio also is redondant, especially if you want tracks in a special genre. You really begin to "feel" its algorythm after generating 500-600 tracks. And it's a downer. The good thing about it is that even if you don't keep the music generated, it's like going at a party and listening to new tracks you never heard before, it's refreshing for the inspiration and mood.
I started on Suno, I'll give it another shot but I was totally ignorant on how to use it proper. With Udio, I've made some epic songs (metal head) but I also tried the vocals, R&B, boy group type stuff.. I was amazed sounded so much like a certian real artist and it was really clear. Y create 33 second parts, but you can also add pre sections to existing audio, instrumental only parts, pre-generated parts or what I use most of time.. custom lyrics (then describe type of music you want in the Prompt
I confirm, for metal genre, it reproduce famous bands litteral 100% stolen riffs sometimes. And for the Djent/metalcore genre, it all sound the same but different. It can produce bangers, but banger that people won't really come to listen again.
Just tried both of them before i found this video, Seems to me like Udio is generally better when it comes to the overall sound and more balanced in the 'mix' BUT Suno excels at creativity and creative freedom as a user. Nice Video man! Keep it up, lots to cover 😅

Suno has a pervasive filtered vocal and everything sounds fuzzy and not crisp or natural. Udio has cleaner sound and vocals imo.
That might be true but I still like Suno more lol they just added being able to split the instrumentals from the vocals 😮😮😮

After just playing around with udio yeah no id doesn't compare whatsoever to the quality of suno. Either that or I haven't figured out exactly how to use it.
I accidentally listened to several songs on the main page and there is no noise and distortion! The quality is almost like that of Udio

No mate, Udio is really good at electronic music like euphoric trance, house music, all those mainstream music we listen online atm.

i’m gonna be real, as a suno subscriber it’s incredible but I don’t think the prompting here is a fair representation of udio. if you put in artist names it can almost perfectly emulate them even though it says it has replaced the name with genres, unlike suno, which completely rejects them. it also does great with emulating genres, especially if you name a lot so it has a variety. I’ve found that suno won’t really give me the sound I’m looking for while udio knows exactly what I mean when I copy the genres I want from a song I’m taking inspiration from, or even just name the song lol. also the vocal quality and mixing/mastering on udio is a lot less noticeably ai & a lot of the time I can’t tell, whereas suno has a bit of a pixelated undertone to the vocals a lot of the time and the audio quality isn’t always the best. I think they both have benefits & drawbacks in a way that brings them neck to neck honestly

I listened to my suno songs for an extended period of time, then I put disturbed on and silversun pickups and I will stay that a.i songs cannot match real songs. However, I use the a.i songs instead to replace my terrible vlogs. This means instead of saying things on camera, I put what I would say into an a.i song. My vlogs were awful and boring so the songs make it better. I'm still not getting a lot of views on my channels but that is ok. it's all in fun.
The only honest comparison on the whole freaking UA-cam. Suno is clearly superior.

I think Udio Vocals for Rap Songs are better but like Suno for AI Assisted Lyrics.. If you know who to Program Lyric's and Arrangements Manually you can get a lot of either one.
