Chris Magee Music - You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch!

"You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!" is movement two of the "Grinch Suite" arranged by Chris Magee. Set in a 12/8 feel, the tuba opens with a bluesy bass line, and then intro sets up the tuba as the soloist with the main melody. Trombone has improv space (optional written solo provided), and then a rousing "shout chorus" brings the tune back to a restatement of the melody. The Grinch Suite will be a winning addition to your holiday season programs!
Trumpet 1 range is written to high D (D6).
