Funny, when you buy a product and then within a week your usual youtubers start reviewing it 🙂 I, too, was surprised at how slick/not waxy tug-and-pull and not dry feeling this product is. With the first three main ingredients being wax I thought, "oh, this is going to be sticky." Which is okay, higher wax products should have more hold and presence. Quite the opposite this one. It reminds me of the OG Arcadian Clay Pomade. And, okay, I have always put powders in before applying my post-styler, never after. I will definitely try that with there powder, especially with how not sticky/gripy it is. The first powder where I can still run my hands through my hair once in.
I would say you can use the texture powder whenever you want to, but using it after you apply pomade will reduce shine better and is the typical way I use them. Personally I use texture powders as a refresher throughout the day.

I kinda guessed it would look more slick / shiny and your video reinforced that assumption haha. I’m sure it would be a great product for some folks but probably wouldn’t be for me. I am going to try their Dead Sea clay though.
