Considering the fact that Salma Hayek seemingly hasn't aged in the last 20-25 years, I think she may actually be a vampire.
She has aged, she just looks MILFier now. Which is why we don't notice it haha
You noticed that too 😂
Please Check out Tarantino's from dusk till dawn Salma edit ua-cam.com/video/KbTp8F2ISNE/v-deo.html
OR...
She married one of the world's wealthiest man !
😂😂😂😂😂
"Is Salma Hayek in this too?" The answer is yes, she is so in this. As matter of fact, her performance in this movie might have been my sexual awakening.
haha among one of them for sure
Definitely a part of why I like women.
@@AtomicMama42 huge part for me 😉
Likewise, i was maybe 8 or 9 when i saw this on tv. And this movie, well her scene did things for a younger me
Mines too. Inspire to look like her in my 50’s
Sex Machine is played by Tom Savini a famous special effect guy. He actually was in Vietnam as a photographer and used what he saw to create realistic effects.
And the guy with the knife in the first scene with Sex Machine is Greg Nicotero, his company KNB (KNB comes from the last names of Robert Kurtzman, Greg Nicotero and Howard Berger) did the effects for this movie and many, many others, like The Green Mile or The Walking Dead etc.
Yeah & he really punched George too I saw the behind the scenes footage I was like DAMN.
Ah! So no wonder he didn't need to listen to Fred Williamson's 'Nam story..."
I met Greg Nicotero in Pittsburgh in '99.
@@JDelwynn Also, Nicotero learned special effects from Savini; he was his apprentice before he co-founded KNB.
Absolutely the best and coolest George Clooney performance of all time in my opinion.
"Psychos do not explode, when sunlight hits them. I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!" - Seth Gecko
George took a huge risk doing this. He was kind of an All-American kind of guy. I had at on of respect for him after doing this movie.
That line gets me every time🤣🤣🤣🤣
The best line , best Clooney film , best plot twist & best QT movie in my opinion even tho he didn't direct it!!!! This is like the one movie u never want to research before watching!!!!! Hands down!!!!!
It pissed me off as a kid when Fred Williamson got bitten, the guy was such a badass just ripping hearts out of a vampires chest.
"True Romance" was another film written by Tarantino , but not directed by him. It is also fucking awesome. And the cast is ridiculous.
Calm down
Great flick
True Romance is even better imho
"That was not necessary. Badass, but not necessary." That's Tarentino.
The ending scene with the pyramid is to show that the vampires have been there for centuries.
Quintin Tarantino cannot play an Australian slaver. Quintin Tarantino cannot play a tough guy on a diamond heist. He can, however, play a creep who’s obsessed with women’s feet that hangs around dangerous people and instantly makes everyone around him feel uncomfortable.
I wonder why.
😅😅 indeed
The real fun is going into this movie not knowing about the vampire stuff that happens midway through, that was the idea. But this was the movie that Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino made years before they would collaborate yet again (they've worked together a lot) to make the awesome double feature film, Grindhouse.
Yeah, definitely agree, saw this at the cinema when it was released knowing nothing about it, and when the vampires started kicking off I was like, WTF!! Still loved it though.
@@irokusuk464 same for me! Bloody awesome time we had.
Considering I'm pretty sure Quentin Tarantino made this movie mostly to lick Salma Hayek's feet. It's a great movie
I saw it in the theaters not knowing what it was about either. I'll never forget the group of guys/friends behind me, my brother, and my dad. They must of came blinded too and i never seen anyone react to a movie like that when all the vampire mayhem happened. Priceless reaction and a Cinema time I'll never forget.
Exactly
You know Tarantino was looking foward to doing that scene since the day he wrote it😂
If I could write own movie... I'd write sucking tequila off Salma Hayek's toes too.
yyyyuuuuUUUUP!
I could think of better places on her to drink some booze off of...
@@Deathbird_Mitch Not if you have a foot fetish like Tarantino.
Yup, he loves the feet
Now imagine going to see this movie on release knowing very little about it, pre-internet popularity and before the world had even heard of Salma Hayek.
It was an evening full of surprises.
Fun fact: The character of 'Frost' was played by Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, who was a 3x AFL All-Star and one of the first defensive backs in professional football who was not only feared for his size & speed but also his aggression. In a time when Offensive Lineman were only 240-260 lbs. on average, Fred Williamson was hunting fools in the defensive backfield at 6'3 and 220 lbs, which would still be a massive defensive back even today. He also played in Super Bowl I & posed for Playgirl magazine. Total legend.
He also did a ton of 70’s action movies like “Black Caesar”, “Three the Hard Way”, “Hammer” and many more.
@@billr3724 you forgot to mention he was in boss niger
If you love Salma Hayek scene you should watch Desperado with Antonio Banderas
I love desperado! Good choice 👍🏼
Fantastic choice
Oh yeah
Haven't seen that one yet but I know her from Bliss (with Owen Wilson). She was great in that. Trippy-ass movie.
it's ridiculous how incredibly beautiful Salma Hayek is period. 55 years old today and still one of the most beautiful women on earth. And Tom Savini, a legend in the field practical horror film effects. this is still a fun watchable film today. Although I think we can give a tiny amount of blame to Clooney (really Rob Rodrigeuz) for helping influence the wave of dudes getting crazy tribal tattoos on their arms.
Please Check out Tarantino's from dusk till dawn Salma edit ua-cam.com/video/KbTp8F2ISNE/v-deo.html
This was 1995. Agreed, Salma was stunning back then, sucks the years go by. She's still beautiful...
This movie was everything for me when i was a kid, loved it so much and after desperado it felt perfect in that Rodriguez tone.
Calm down
Exactly, same here man.
Can’t wait to show my son this movie. I first saw it when I was ten and everything in the Titty Twister was so awesome to me.
Watching Salma Hayek in Desperado is how I learned I was straight
Please Check out Tarantino's from dusk till dawn Salma edit 555 ua-cam.com/video/KbTp8F2ISNE/v-deo.html
what you mean, you learned you're straight? The fuck!
Bro, you just helped me realize why Selma's character went to Quentin's character during the dance scene, cause she gravitated to the most evil man in the building, cause she hella evil too. 🥴😲

1:51 Classic Clooney "You be cool"
Love that Cheech Marin plays three different characters. He and Robert Rodriguez have a lot of fun together. And of course Danny T! So iconic and a super nice guy IRL.
Definitely check out Rodriguez's Mexico trilogy (El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon a Time In Mexico).
Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo
@@15blackshirt Damn autocorrect! 😅
Danny Trejo said that when people ask him where he learned to act, he tells them "San Quentin".
Oooooh, we need some ‘Desperado’ after this. 😍
Edit: OH NO NOT SEX MACHINE 🤣🤣🤣
Desperado is one of the best action movies ever imo. The other two films in that series were garbage compared to it though.
I literally watched this on VHS until it didn’t work as a teen. My buddy and I could quote the whole damn thing start to finish.
Such a good flick.
Favorite line in the movie
"What do you think I want,
I want a room you mean old bastard"😂
John Carpenter’s “Vampires”..... 💯🔥🤙🏽😎
Oh damn, you did not include the line "psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, i dont give a fuck how crazy they are". That line was hilarious
I distinctly remember that Salma Hayek scene watching that as a kid. If I had to pick a celebrity crush, it was definitely her from this scene alone.
Please Check out Tarantino's from dusk till dawn Salma edit 555 ua-cam.com/video/KbTp8F2ISNE/v-deo.html
Fun fact, Selma Hayek is terrified of snakes, so doing the scene dancing with the python was incredibly difficult for her, she even saw a hypnotherapist.
And; the character Sex Machine is played by Tom Savini , he is an actor makeup and special effects artist who worked on the original Friday the 13th, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and the list goes on, the man is a fucking legend.
He was involved with the 90's remake of Night, not the original. He was supposed to, but he ended up sent to Vietnam.
@@TimedRevolver and he was involved in the original Dawn of the Dead
@@TimedRevolver Yup. He directed the remake actually. Also speaking of his time in Vietnam, supposedly the scene where a soldier in Day of the Dead gets his head ripped off(as he screams and voice gets higher pitched as his vocal cords stretch), was inspired by a beheading that he witnessed in Vietnam.
Actually Salma Hayek really likes big snakes :)
@@tsogobauggi8721 😆🤣😂Nice
There's also a sequel, prequel and TV series; this and Desperado are Robert Rodriguez's best films
Yes! Desperado is a must watch. Awesome action.
Anything outside this movie is trash
@@jeambeam3173 the series is pretty entertaining
@@15blackshirt I tried to watch the series, and it was horrible. Changing the vampires from bats to snakes was a bad move. I know, Mesoamerican vampires were reptilian Culebras, but I liked the original idea that these random vampires found an old temple to hole up in, rather than them "always" being there.
@@gothnate, I've watched the series at least three times, so that should tell you enough; keeping to the actual mythology was smart, as was expanding upon both the film and mythology as a whole; it made me very happy they kept it mature rated, as did the casting choices for the characters
The pencil worked because being made out of wood, it was essentially a stake through the heart
"With a fucking PENCIL!"
@@dr.burtgummerfan439 touché good sir, I doff my cap to your most excellent comment!
Selma REALLY wanted to do the movie when it was offered to her but was DREADFULLY afraid of snakes so she passed. When she heard they offered it to Madonna she hired the best psychologist she could get to help her deal with the very real snake in the scene, they went with her, and we got that dance. Sometimes things work out the way they were supposed to ;)
Harvey Keitel in this film reminds me so much of Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting. I almost mistake him for the latter one. Rest in peace, Robin. You are dearly missed by all of your fans.
I love the soundtrack. Still have it somewhere in my old CD collection.
Gotta love Cheech Marin, not just for everything he's ever done, but also the double roles of customs officer/Titty Twister bouncer. Also loved him in Born In East L.A. B.I.E.L.A. also features the tall robber from Home Alone movies. Such a great comedy.
He also played Carlos at the end of the film
Don't forget Paul Rodriguez who was hilarious in it too
orale vato! waaaaas sappening!

Gotta check Desperado my dude. Absolute classic and a must watch.
Yes it is that and once upon a time in mexico
Desperado 100 👍 way better than El mariachi and once upon a time.
I 2nd that motion!!
Not before El Mariachi.
El Mariachi is famous for having a budget of less than two thousand dollars. What Robert Rodriguez did with a budget that miniscule is incredible.
16:16 I love how the whole crew is just standing back watching Frost go off on his little Nam flashback like "What the fuck is wrong with this guy, I'm gonna keep my distance"
Tom Savini's special effects in this film are Awesome.
This guy really is a master of his craft.
When this came out, I was so young, I didn't even know who Tarantino was. It was the beginning of a awesome journey to find out.
8:00 She plays it so well. She's in Natural Born Killers, also written by QT
Dude. I'm a chick and I love this movie. It's not just for boys.
The texas ranger they kill in the beginning is the same one that finds Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. And his son that was with him is in From Dusk Till Dawn 2
The cock gun is hilarious
11:19 What? Quentin Tarantino has a foot fetish? What are you talking about? That’s crazy
There’s two sequels. Also a pretty recent show adaptation. The first season is pretty much this movie with a lot more details and changes. Like they go into the vampires. I only saw the first season but it was pretty good
George Clooney played such a believable villain in this. And, to my knowledge, he never played another role like this. I've often wondered why, considering he was so good at it.
11:31 - Trust me, man. I sat there in stunned silence the first time I saw this scene, too.
"So what were they, psychos?"
I wish I could watch this for the first time again. So many epic movements in a movie that is too good for its own genre haha
Best George Clooney role ever
Best Salma Hyak role ever
Best Tarantino role ever
Best Robert Rodriguez film ever
Best Plot twist in movie history!!!! i honestly feel sorry for any person that saw the movie trailer or researched this film before ever watching it cuz it takes so much shock factor out of it !!!! This is definitely the ultimate film to go completely blind into considering that was the point of making it
This is in my top 5 favorite films of all time I just hate how they went overboard with the cheesy Tom Savini 90's style special effects (his 80's gore effects in Day of the dead were absolutely incredible even to this day) 💯 The Vampires looked so ridiculous in this film like they bought everything from a Halloween store , I love Tom Savini as a character in this film & he's done some amazing special effects in some of his films but this just ain't one of them sorry!!!! All they had to do in order to make the Vampires look bad ass & realistic was change they're eyes & give them fangs like u see right as they start to change into vamps & it would have looked perfect but instead they had to keep changing they're appearances as they change into vamps & add all that disgusting ridiculous makeup & it just looks corny asf but that's honestly the only problem I have at all with this entire film yet it doesn't really take anything away from how much I love this film!!!!! Other than that little nitpick I have , this movie is always been a instant favorite of mine , it's perfect in every single way & it still never gets boring to watch 💯
big facts
From Dusk Till Dawn 2 Texas Blood money is a Sequel of From Dusk Till Dawn but From Dusk Till Dawn 3 The Hangman's Daughter is actually a Prequel to the First Movie
You definitely have to see "Desperado" now.
The biker is played by Tom Savini, world famous FX. artist.
I'm also convinced sex machine turning into that rat thing was JUST an excuse to play with his FX abilities
This Film is coming soon on UHD 4K BLU-RAY 2021 can't wait
Salma Hayek is approaching her 55th birthday and still looks beyond amazing!

I always liked how George Clooney's fake tattoo suited him so fricken' much in this movie.
So fricking happy you reacted to this. Classic awesome film.... great reaction xxxx

That guy is Danny Trejo, one of the most interesting actors out there, he escaped death row and ended up being one of the most successful Latin actors and has now taco restaurants and is one of the biggest humanitarian alive.
SELMA HAYEK IS A PROBLEM YO.... GREATEST COMMENT EVER!!!!!
Seen her lately?? She's STILL a problem! 🤤😍
"That opens up room for a sequel, I don't think there is" - Dusk till Dawn 2 Texas Blood Money(1999) - Dusk till Dawn 3 - The Hangmans Daughter(1999), oh and a 3 season Tv series, So yeah plenty of room for a sequel/prequel/world builder.
Lmao I literally died laughing when you said "come get this anointing" 😂😂😂😂
Watched this film so many times, it's a classic on many levels. Salma dancing 😍
Please Check out Tarantino's from dusk till dawn Salma edit ua-cam.com/video/KbTp8F2ISNE/v-deo.html
QT wrote it, and played that great role, but as you note, did not direct. He says he had a lot of fun being in it and not having to do the directing. Also, he certainly wrote the bit where he gets to suck tequila off of Selma Hayek's toes.
salma hayek had a real fear of snakes bud she pulled it togehter for this scene and she impovised her dance
Back in the day on my first watch, i thought this was just a gangster roadmovie. When shit started to get freaky in the Titty Twister bar, i was like"WTF!" xD
Fred Williamson is the man do Original Gangsters.
Original Gangstas is one of the best 😎
Danny Trejo is the bartender that you noticed is in every Mexican movie. Check out Machete for a movie that he actually stars in.
Salma Hayek was and still is a complete Babe! I saw this film in a cinema and there were quite a few ‘wohs’ from the audience when she came on screen
Please Check out Tarantino's from dusk till dawn Salma edit ua-cam.com/video/KbTp8F2ISNE/v-deo.html
I highly recommend Natural Born Killers if you want another crazy ass movie to watch.
Am I the only one who noticed that Cheech Marin played the boarder patrol guard, club greeting vampire and the guy that showed up at the end? Lol😂
It was such a twist back in the day, i thought i'd rented a bank robbery film, it was such a turn of events. Glad you enjoyed it.
Out Of Sight is a good George Clooney movie with J-Lo. Crime drama by Elmore Leonard.
Tarantino plays one of the creepiest slimeballs, in cinematic history,
I wouldn't be comfortable being around him, never mind him being around my kids stuck in an RV.
Yeah, he needed to be on meds, having hallucinations, delusions, whatever.
My #1 favorite Vampire Flick
the best
Since Tarantino co-wrote this movie, I like to think he wrote himself into the scene where he sucks on Salma Hayeks foot.
rodriguez is an awesome director. he even has a film set to premiere in 2115 called 100 years. that he filmed in 2015.

She should check her camper at the end maybe a vampire is hiding inside lol. I loved this movie. One of my favorite Tarantino movies.

FDTD part 2 takes place about a week or so before this one.....I believe. It takes place shortly before part 1.

Not as good as the 1st, but it's straight in it's own way as far as straight to DVDs go.
Part 2 was actually pretty damn entertaining, lol.
