    Like usual with Tarantino movies, this movie was so unpredictable for me! I knew coming in that it would be a vampire movie, but forgot along the way so it was still a nice surprise in the middle of the movie! I love how we got so much backstory to all the characters since we focus on them for half the movie before getting to the action and gore, and the vampire deaths were absolutely EPIC!! I had a great time watching this, I hope you enjoy my reaction. If you did please leave a like, sub, comment, or even a super thanks/PayPal donation if you would like to support my channel further. Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next movie reaction, aka The Matrix!!

    "If you try to run, I've got six little friends and they can all run faster than you can."
    Fun Fact: Some of the body parts were from other films by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
    Music Enthusiast Fact: The band playing in the Titty Twister is Tito & Tarantula, featuring Robert Rodriguez. The line-up also featured Oingo Boingo drummer Johnny 'Vatos' Hernandez.
    Slytherin Shenanigans Fact: Salma Hayek has a real fear of snakes and had always refused to be near them. Naturally when she read the script, she knew her phobia would prevent her from taking the part. Robert Rodriguez conned her into thinking that Madonna was ready to nab the part instead, so Hayek spent two months with therapists to overcome her fear.

    It's a shame you KNEW it was a vampire movie... Back when this came out me and all my friends went to see a "Tarantino/Rodriguez Movie" (ie a Mob movie) and then half way through... Whaaa...
    The promos did a good job of not spoiling it, even when it came out to rent on vhs (yes, I am old)
    Great reaction nonetheless x

    Fun fact, the Ezekiel speech in Pulp Fiction, was originally going to be in From Dusk Till Dawn.
    Harvey Keitel's character was meant to say it as he made his way from the bar to the storeroom, but Tarantino decided to save it at the last minute.

    The supporting characters in the bar include Tom Savini, a world-class practical-effects artist, and Fred Williams, who was in a bunch of genre films including the Italian “Black Cobra” series.

    When this came out most didn’t know it was a vampire movie. Because of tarrintino sand Rodrigues last movies it looked like another gangster movie which was pretty much trending in the 90sc after pulp fiction. So when the vampires popped out my jaw dropped but I was happy as I loved horror even more than gangster flicks

    The movie wasn’t supposed to be a Vampire film, but Tarantino got stuck once he got the story to the Mexico, so he just said “screw it, they’re all vampires.” That explains why it seems like two different movies.

    "Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!" -- Great reaction, I hope to watch more from your channel.
    Note, though, that this isn't exactly a "Tarantino movie" in the normal sense. He co-wrote the script, but it was directed by Robert Rodriguez, better known for the El Mariachi/ Desperado series, the Spy Kids movies, and a bunch of modern grindhouse films like Machete and Planet Terror.

      @cmlemmus494: Not to mention, Robert Rodriguez brilliantly co- directed ( with source writer-illustrator Frank Miller ) 'Frank Miller's SIN CITY' ( 2005 ) - brilliantly adapted from the "SIN CITY" graphic novels ( comic books ) by Frank Miller.

    So did Selma. She had to have herself hypnotized to perform because she was afraid of them. Thank god she did though because that was easily one of the sexiest scenes ever put to film and if she had refused they were going to get Madonna for the role and she isn't remotely as hot as Selma.

    I was at a Sci-Fi con about 20 years ago and someone had made a great looking model of "Sex Machine as a vampire" (with his pistol open of course). He said it was just for his entry into the model contest. After the contest, I made him an offer he could not refuse. The coolest thing was that Tom Savini had a table at this con and he signed it for me. It still sits above me on my computer desk. When people come over, I ask them if they want to see my sex machine? I get all kinds of responses (especially from wives). 🤣

    @Ylva ( The Viqueen: ) I'm kind of late posting a comment here. But I hope you WILL see this post and take this recommendation.
    Recommended another movie to watch, and do a reaction video to: brilliant, 2005, movie 'Frank Miller's SIN CITY.'
    This movie was also directed by [ actually co-directed ( with Frank Miller ) by ] Robert Rodriguez, who directed 'From Dusk Til Dawn.' Rodriguez's good friend, and fellow filmmaker, Quentin Tarentino ( who wrote the screenplay for, and played "Richie Gecko" in, 'From Dusk Til Dawn' ) directed A scene in 'SIN CITY' [ the scene in the "The Big Fat Kill" segment - where "Dwight" ( Clive Owen ) has an imagined conversation with the dead "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro ) as he's driving to The Pits. ]
    'SIN CITY' is based mostly on the first, third, and fourth books from the "SIN CITY" graphic novels ( comic books - for us OLD guys, like me ) by famed comic book writer-illustrator Frank Miller [ of "Daredevil," "Elektra," "The Dark Knight Returns" ( "Batman," ) "300," ect. fame. ]
    Miller also CO- directed 'SIN CITY,' along with Robert Rodriguez.
    Synopsis ( story summary: )
    Prologue: "The Customer is Always Right," Part 1 - a hitman, known as "The Salesman" ( Josh Hartnett ) and a woman - "The Customer" ( Marley Shelton ) meet on a penthouse balconey. This short segment was actually filmed FIRST, as a proof-of-concept - for Rodriguez to convince Miller to allow him to make 'SIN CITY;'
    Opening credits, then;
    "That Yellow Bastard," Part 1: An aged police detective - "John Hartigan" ( Bruce Willis ) tries to protect a young girl - "Nancy" from becoming the next victim of a serial pedophilic-killer ( Roark, Jr. ) [ Nick Stahl; ]
    "The Hard Goodbye:" "Marv" - a tough, scarred-faced, but good-hearted man ( Micky Rourke ) goes on a rampage after a woman whom, as he says, "was kind to me," is killed [ co- director Frank Miller has a cameo as the priest in the confessional; ]
    "The Big Fat Kill:" A private detective - "Dwight McCarthy" ( Clive Owen ) must protect his girlfriend "Shellie" ( Brittany Murphy, ) and then "the girls of Old Town" ( prostitutes ) from a drunken, harassing man - "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro; )
    "That Yellow Bastard," Part 2: "Hartigan" is seen just shortly post- the events in Part 1, then eight ( 8 ) years later he must defend a now- 19 year old "Nancy" ( Jessica Alba ) against a now hideously deformed "Yellow Bastard" ( Roark, Jr. from Part 1 ) [ Nick Stahl; ]
    "The Customer is Always Right," Part 2: "The Salesman" ( from the Prologue ) is seen starting a conversation with "Becky" ( Alexis Bledel ) [ from "The Big Fat Kill" segment ] in a hospital elevator;
    End credits.
    Brilliantly filmed, mostly against green screens, in black-and-white ( with splashes of color ) - to match Miller's graphic novels.
