I’ve seen a lot of hate over the game such as people comparing it to other games like helldivers but for me I’m loving the game and have not had this much fun in a while and even while on console I’ve had like no lag issues or bugs so it’s been a lot of fun
im really enjoying the games dispite the issues and as for the purchasable cosmetics i see them as not really that important and i feel it is a bit of a minor thing ,what i am enjoying is the simple load in and play and thats even with some of the server issues . as long as the developers keep working and keep improving the over all experiance i feel like the game can only get better hopefully.
the DLC issue is about the fact that the content is limited and cutting the already small amount out of the game for extra monetary gain is very jewish
There's no other game where I am contemp with getting my ass kicked consecutively because just like the movie, fighting swarms like that is not easy even on easy mode. They could maybe buff or nerf some things but I looovvveeeee this game. I really enjoy watching everyone improve and as the days go by, everybody is in sync
Bruh, fans have been clamoring for a starship troopers fps for DECADES and in my opinion this is what we’ve been waiting for! Life is short BUY IT so they go all in on solo expansion with RICO
I've had a lot of fun with the game. But I picked it up in EA when it was around $20-25 USD. At $50 USD, it's just so high for what you're getting and compared to other games you could get for that or lower. It needs more content and polish at that price. It's def worth it on sale though.
Played my first multiplayer match on Xbox last night. The game crashed the second the match ended - but at least I got my XP and achievements. There are a ton of bugs, but it's just so cool to mow down hundreds of bugs with a group of people and see the bodies piling up around you. And the race to get to the drop ships at the end of every match does capture the feel of running from an impossible situation. Not a 10/10, but it is a solid 6 or 7.
Agreed, the $50 price tag had me VERY nervous that I was ab to waste hella money for a bad game. But it’s surprisingly fun and been nun but a blast so far so YEAHHH
Thanks a lot for this. I'm a big fan of the first film too but the price is what has been holding me back (that and I'm currently having a blast with Space Marine 2), will pick this up in a sale. Thanks for the honest review, really appreciate it

I would actually love to play this but for 50 USD and 2000 people online I just cant justify it, I already have helldivers and it has an active playerbase but this game just doesent look like it has the playerbase to keep filling 16 person lobbies for too much longer.
Thank you for the honesty. I might get this later when there is more content with the base price. I just got back into gaming with helldivers 2 and space marines 2 where there isn’t a bunch of content locked behind pay walls. I think helldivers really did micro transactions correctly and other Devs should take note
also I agree. xDD The film made that iconic arachnid that I love! Like a cross between a horned beetle and a praying mantis..ugh! what a terrifying thought. Also! A very fair and unbiased review, your feelings all reflect how I feel about this game. As it stands it's a good game, and I can easily so myself logging many hours into it. The paid cosmetics are surprising to me, as I originally thought that this game wasn't going to do microtransactions. It hurts the game, and I hope the devs see that the community doesn't like it, and just move forward with just making everything unlockable. I hope that down the road we can also see more bugs, guns, and modes added to the game because its been too long since something like this was promised to us.
They suggested they wouldn't sell cosmetics for squad as well(yet they started doing just that). They stopped giving a fuck about reputation because they haven't had a decent rep for years.
