A lot of trailers, none really piquing my interest. Compare these trailers with the like of Arrival and Interestellar. At least some are making me curious. Let us hope for the best.
I wonder if the Gorge is one of those movies where the suspense of waiting to find out turns into the two protagonists-who-fall-in-love-with-each-other doing battle with the evil-thats-going-to-destroy-the-world kind of stereotypical scenario.

These mega trailers are so well put together; it's like theater movie trailers, only better. That said, most of these movies probably are not worth actually going out and watching.
Looking forward to Mickey 17 and The Electric State (regardless of how implausible it is). 28 years later seems to violate the canon of them starving into extinction. Curious how they'll get past that.
Right, honestly the first movie tells the whole story. At the end of the movie we see the infected dying off. 28 weeks later is acceptable as a possible secondary outbreak but the new infected across the world would have died out within like 2-5 years.
Come on! It's time for another big movie about... UFO/Aliens/First Contact, etc. We've had "Close Encounters of third kind", "Independance Day"....Now we need something new, updated. Something more... technically. A movie that will explain: - Why we see them but they "don't talk to us" - Are they from another 'place' or from another reality, A movie that involves "Skinwalker ranch", "Piramids", "Cows abductions" :) A big movie that combine all we know about UFO's, all the pop culture elements - and give us some straight answers. I'M WAITING FOR THAT MOVIE!!!!
@@glomibabel1894 "and dune" What are you babbling about :/ "Dune" is not about aliens of first contact between humans and some inteligent civilisation from space.
Yea, but the zombie/infected lore has also been played out thanks to The Walking Dead & so many other films. When 28 days later came out in 2001, the market wasn't over saturated. I'm still hoping to be entertained.
I looked into my movie crystal ball, and I got not good vibes about Jurassic Park, but hey it’s me. "They" must come up with an extraordinary story, with new bad dinosaurs.🦕
If this is all they have to offer. Sequels, variations on a theme. What 2025 will bring for current international issues will likely be more compelling.
While I understand your reaction .. I am okay taking a different direction with S.T. We have to get away as much as we can from the usual characters and explore a different set of new characters, customs, galaxies etc. We have to get away from canon and prequels all revolving around New Generation and Capt. Kirk etc.
@@Re5ist_ance So where is the line when it's no longer Star Trek? Make a new show, sure. Do all that you want, but the reality is, the characters, customs, galaxies, and what define Star Trek. Without those things, it's just another space show. IMO.
Section 31 was the worst anti trek idea to have been made. It goes against the future of Roddenberry when we were past our fears. It's all about destroying Treks ideals and money from a generation that didn't grow up with better writing & imagination.
@@MaterLacrymarum You've got to ask yourself .. what was Star Trek to begin with. It was an idea about a potential human future that dealt with current day issues and prejudices. The Gorge and 28 Years later are definitely sci-fi, just horror sci-fi. I don't know why The Wheel of Time is on this list at all, it is neither sci-fi nor a movie.

I kind of feel the same way although that wrist one doesn’t look half bad. Has kind of a warm bodies/the mist/Passengers vibe.
Sigourney Weaver in the Gorge makes me think it's a prequel to Cabin in the Woods

It’s gonna succckkkk. I have interest in a lot of these movies and shows but this is a complete pass for me.
Enlightened trek died after ST:Enterprise was canceled for JJ's & kurtzmans lens flares & swearing.
