- Ar vienu kāju kapā. 1. sērija "Dzīvs un apglabāts"
Videoklipam pieejami latviešu subtitri. (Iestatījumi - Subtitri - Latviešu).
Šajā sēijā:
60 gadu vecumā apsargs Viktors Meldrjū tiek priekšlaicīgi atlaists no darba, kur viņu aizstāj ar automātisko atbildētāju. Kamēr Viktors prāto, ko iesākt ar savu nākotni, viņu apciemo Niks Sveinijs, veco ļaužu labdarības organizācijas pārstāvis, un Viktors nolemj doties uz darba pārrunām.
One of my favourite series. I can watch time and time again.
I always skip the final episode tbh.
Thanks, great show.
I'm in my late 60's and am becoming more and more like Victor every day, and loving it.
I'm 45 and feel the same 😄
Why did you wait until your late 60s? I am early 50s and there already, haha
Me too, 72.
mwreckes . Am 72 and banging neighbours doors then running away . Maintain your independence my friend . Dave
Kim , at 72 lets start a hooligan club ?. Dave
No comments in 8 years? Well, thanks for uploading this 👍
Guess he purges comments now and then.
@@theNomadz nope. UA-cam has become no comment zone or something. I cannot see comments on any videos at all.
Thank you so much for this glorious upload.
one of the funniest shows ever made. the whole series
Loved this show. Victor always reminded me of my whinging dad.
He was spot on though, you’ll find out!
BUT HE WAS CORRECT, YOU’LL FIND OUT IN GOOD TIME!
Love this show so much. Clever writers
There was only one writer
Nice to see people in Latvia also like this masterpiece of British television
The character Victor Meldrew was spot on!
Just finding this in Oct 24 thanks for uploading it
When I first saw this 30 years ago Richard Wilson & Annette Crosbie looked old. Today viewing it they look young. 😮
We age well, said the man in the mirror this morning
They were in their early 50s, which seems ridiculous, especially as I'm now 55. I don't relate at all, apart from being grumpy, but I was always like that.
As above. Richard Wilson was only 53 when started to film this, playing a 60 year old. Think he originally turned the part down as he thought he was too young. I suppose being younger in real life gave the show longevity.
Ha, I get what you mean, although being mid 40s I'm not there yet... But yep, every time I see this show they look younger and younger.... :P
Absolute Classic. Thanks
This beloved series worked on so many levels I was at a school fete 4months ago someone donated it I paid 15 notes for the complete series with every bit of it 👍🤣 cheers Stephen ✌️✌️🍀
Thank you mouse. Very much appreciated.
I’m an American that just found this show. The writing is amazing 😂😂😂😂
You can watch all 6 seasons here (just choose Оригинал (+субтитры) so it is in English, not RussianОригинал (+субтитры) rezka.ag/series/comedy/36041-odnoy-nogoy-v-mogile-1990.html#t:238-s:1-e:1

😂At least Victor Meldrew's early retirement wasn't as bad as Richard Bucket's!!(Another classic British comedy-Keeping up Appearances")Victor didn't have to put up with Hyacinth😮Thankyou❤😅
I dunno how Margaret put up with Victor. Perhaps she should’ve run off with Richard. 😅
@@ErnestPiffel Great idea! Both programms very cleverly written.. 😅
Yes but Richard is much quieter 😹
It’s BOU- QUEE 😂😂😂
I like the old man i could drive mad i could not live with this man ❤❤❤
I don't believe it ❤❤❤❤
I was 6 years old when this programme started
Where does all the time go?
Memories, memories from Australia
My god I identify with victor now after many years 😝
My 70 years old husband IS Victor Meldrew!
Thanks for uploading.
i like what he said about going so often to the hsp emergency that they shd give him a season pass! :) so funny
Thanks so much for sharing this with us! ❤️ from 🇺🇸 giving me something to watch and take my mind off the aftermath of the hurricane here in Florida
Liels paldies pele.
We’re all a number, we might think we’re a valued member of staff but the realty is we’re all disposable!😊😊
Would love him as a neighbour 😂
The first few minutes of this pilot justify my thoughts on what it would be like if I retired.
' 14 more hours before its time to go to bed '
It's still amusing but this was much funnier when one didn't have one's own foot in the grave. Too close to the bone. Need to find a programme with a positive view on retirement.
Lollllllll
My my. How time does change one's perspective.
Try golden girls, lots of stamina in the golden years
I'm now older than Victor, but still laughing!
Thanks for the heads up bc I’m struggling with turning 45 smh 🤦🏼♀️ I don’t understand how I got here. Meanwhile, my 74 year old mother is in better shape. She runs rings around everyone I know. My son and I have a running joke about her being immortal.
Brilliant programme I brought the box set about 5 years ago..💯🇬🇧🇯🇲👍🏿
Super series, highly underestimated in my view, Annette Crosbie, also played Queen Victoria in Edward XII, in a 1975 drama series, which was very good too
A miracle youtube not removed this
Shshhh
Sadly not. For given that sexism and racism is (rightly) looked down on, why is it okay for the BBC to be ageist?
@@antispindr8613 Commenters dont have a sense of humour. Maybe we could have a comedy show about humourless commenters.>
thank you from manhattan ©2025
There were many times Victor was justified in his moans 😅
It tickles me.
In this first episode Richard Wilson was only 53.
Oh wow....x
55 he said.
@@markwalters2927 He's mistaken. The first episode was released in January 1990 and Richard Wilson was born in July 1936.
I find it astonishing that I'm 10 years older than him now
@@andyhodgson7692 OK, I was just quoting Richard Wilson in this 3 min YT video: Richard Wilson | The Moments That Made...

I cant remember the last time i saw an elderly pedestrian sign,do they still exist ?
Yes I have seen some recently but can’t remember where
Story of all our lives now isn't it.... Being replaced by an AI box.... lol....
I enjoy 40+ episodes of this gem program on Dailymotion. Hilarious!
I DON'T BELIEVE IT!
EVEN when I was young, Crosbie was a Hottie .
Hannah Gordon too!
BBC: Is this show a gentle dig at getting old - or an over-the-top form of ageism?
A COMEDY
The joke is as a much younger individual i used to laugh my ass off at this show but ironically this year & to the minute my 29yrs service with my now last ever employer ended in precisely this way... a case of goodbye, bugger off you are retirement age next month anyway....
V funny.
Do you mean that the show is funny ha ha, or 'funny' as in odd and weird?
Lol😂😂😂😂😂I watched this British comedy on PBS !😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was born a Victor Meldrew 😂
British Humour. not suitable for the P C mob. according to the comments

My goodness, you are in a mood! Have you ever watched the film?
My dad never liked the show either. I always suspected it was like looking in a mirror for dad and he didn’t like what he saw.
@@ErnestPiffel Well, 😅 I am 84yrs, still laughing 😄☺️
You’re funny, Brendan
Then don’t watch it you miserable imbecile.
Watching it in bed, thanks for uploading 😊
