I'm interested in the area inside 285 along Northside Dr. NW which I think is still Sandy Springs. How bad is the airplane noise coming from Dobbins ARB? It looks like there are flight paths in that area. Thanks!
Haha, sorry about that, just trying to differentiate the city from the suburbs. Sometimes when people live in the suburbs, they say they live in “Atlanta”, I was trying to be specific. 🤦🏻♂️

I used to live in that area, I don’t think it’s very bad. Dobbins is pretty far from Sandy Springs, so the noise is not terrible
What is the annual tax rate of a 750k home in Sandy Springs?
Depends on why the city determines is the assessed value (it’s rarely ever the same as market value), but typically it would be about about $9K-$10K
And in Marietta for a 750k home? Is it same or less?
Generally, property taxes are a little less in Marietta than in Sandy Springs.
In Marietta will it be 8000 or less for a 750k home annually? I appreciate your knowledge sharing, thanks!
You’re welcome bro, anytime! It would probably be at least 8000. Maybe between 8000-9000
You know you can just call it "Atlanta" instead of saying "the city of Atlanta" every single time.
