Can't help but wonder why so many of these humongous homes are available lol. Most folks can't imagine the high level of integrity it takes to maintain these structures. If you're not mentally prepared to spend hefty monthly stipends, in the 10's of thousands, for landscaping and interior and exterior upkeep, then continue to enjoy these videos from the comfort of your humble abode lol.

If you’ve been raised in large homes these will come natural.
The Maintenance cost would be factored into your living costs the space will become something natural if that’s what you’re used to I love a large home find a good cleaning person get some insurance on your appliances and insurance on your house phone but that covers inside and out and live happily ever after

They were all beautiful. I love masonry and don’t see a whole lot of it in California. Brick, block and stone really withstand the test of time but don’t fare well in earthquakes. I guess it’s a toss up between #8 & #4.
Most folks don't seem to consider the ongoing cost of living in these houses. That's where you'll bleed a lot of money. All these homes are very affordable but do you really need all that space? What about taxes and cleaning and general maintenance....The cost adds up pretty quickly.

Number 2 should've been #1, was the best. Most if not all needed updating. Still for the land n size, you're getting a great value

I like the homes but if I had a billion dollars I wouldn't buy one because I don't need that much space.

You if an afford this house, you need to be able to afford to hire some help, to take care of the inside and the outside of this house.
You have to have people to share it with. Maybe a cousin and their kids if you don't have any. Help to keep it up. The only way to justify living like this. Just my thoughts.

I forgot about the others until I saw #3. The bedroom and pool is to LIVE FOR! WOW!!!... Price is reasonable. However, I like Texas and we have some grand homes with very fair prices.

In Toronto the price would be 6 or 7 times the price .... Bridle Path is an expensive area of Toronto Ontario Canada. Another Luxurious Area of Toronto is Forest Hill . Both are Absolutely Excellent Realestate Markets .

These are all beautiful homes, but I personally would rather have a smaller house with some extra land to build on. Most of these are probably in gated communities.
I wonder if the structural craftsmanship and materials (beyond surfaces) are that much better than a standard house? Makes me nervous how quickly they build houses these days...at least in my cookie cutter neighborhood.
I have a friend who was an insurance rep and she was able to afford a beautiful big house that was designed like a mansion. In Atlanta it's not just about the cost, they do more with design and the space

Kind of in that situation right now where blessings have shined on me but I don’t think I want to go back to Atl too much mess going on there. Great place to visit for a bit but not to live. Not since COVID hit it’s worse

#8 and 1 were my favorites. #3 is a potential because it has a basketball court. But alas, not in my price range of affordability lol but lovely to look at.

In a year I am planning on moving to Georgia and what I'd like to do is start my own Airbnb business so the more rooms with bathrooms the more earning potential but I have to have a manatees. I will be hopefully contacting you when I get the funds to start looking for a place

What is the property tax?
The only one that appealed to me would be number # 1.
All the others. Just looked so cold and uninviting.
No more HOA for me. My ideal would be north Georgia mountains. Blue ridge mountains. Log cabin home.

Here where I live just outside London in England that kind of money will get you not much over a standard 3/4 bed house! I was born in the wrong place 😂
Dude move to the US, salaries are higher here plus house prices much lower. I bought a 4 bedroom house with a swimming pool and 5 acres for $400k, in London that would've bought me a studio flat.

@ALFJAMXA James. My Dude, visit some of these other over-priced markets (ie. DMV, South FL, Southern Ca., etc.). You'll quickly find out that for this price range, you're liable to only be able to get little more than a fancy cardboard box (a 2- or 3- BR condo).
