I'm guessing that would make a difference since it doesn't stay that hot in our house. Also, they're grown upright in pots so the water doesn't drain well from the crown.
@@nancyn6215 im from Puerto Rico my mom grows them outside all year around and puts them under the rain when pouring. They thrive pretty nicely. Im in US now so I learned the hard way it don’t work that way in here.

They just sprout 2nd generation multiple blooms each this month. So happy. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I did not know they rebloom after they die. They are also incredibly social able. I put each one next to different cacti and both seemed as if to try and hug or wrap their stems closer to the plant next to them. Their leaves began stretching & growing into their neighbors. It's awesome to notice how small plants interact in a plant baby village. 🌱🌰❤️
Don’t rebloom your orchid from the spike unless you want it to drain the leaves and you better be growing more leaves that’s the most important thing along with roots
Wetting the leaves, especially the crown will lead to the orchid rotting. Crown rot is one of the worst things that can happen to your orchid since the crown is needed to produce more leaves

All this is very confusing.Most tutorials say do not wet the leaves or do not let water into the root ball.Who to believe?
