AC trains are only for the posh cities like mumbai. In india, if anything has to get great success from business point of view then it must be of lower cost. Rural people in india will not pay more for any extra comfort/facility other than fulfilling the basic need if any other cheaper option is present. The fact is also clear from the losses of the american/europian car companies (ford/GM...etc) who left india as their western world strategy was not accepted in indian people and the market is dominated by Suzuki/ Tata/ mahindra type of cars.
What a clickbait title and thumbnail, this a classic example of a non-mumbaikar commenting negatively about something that they have never experienced personally and blindly referring to official figures...
Everyone is missing one imp point. It has nothing to do with price. In mumbai people do look for comfort. Issue is locals are not on correct time. Example from kalyan after 6:30 next train is at 9. There is no train to ensure person reaches office by 9:30. Trains should be there in higher number on correct time
To actualize the full potential of AC trains (at least on CR), discontinue FC compartments in regular locals and convert it into complete general class train with dedicated compartments to women and physically disabled. AC trains to run as dedicated FC compartment trains. AC Train season ticket shud be same as FC fares so that commuters will opt for AC trains. Also run AC trains after every 3-4 trips of normal trains. This will lead to proper distribution of crowd, even during peak hours.
Ac local is not failed, in fact its a best thing mumbaikars can have, there are things that are not in favour of people is its high price, more ac trains than normal train, as normal trains are affordable to mass class also the capacity of normal train is unlimited than ac train which have limited capacity for people. And main thing is people dont want to change their mindset towards developing city trends.
Also most ac trains are not functioning on Sunday, I mean people like to go town side on sundays for recreational purposes and such travellers will not mind spending extra to go comfortably alas hardly any trains I know rakes need to go for maintenance but isn't this a business opportunity?
Akkhi train Khali jate, Thane- Panvel route pe 2 types ki local chalti hai, ek AC aur dusri Central Line ki purani Wali dabba jisme fan bhi nahi chalte
why AC local train is so high RS 100, here in delhi we fare is only RS 60 from one station to another its depends on you how far you are going fare remains same
I totally agree with u even i think that if common local trains charges 15 Rs fare of travel then Ac local should charge atmost 30rs the travel fare. Then only it would be successful and budget friendly for every mumbaikars
I can see so many people actually commenting that its not failed. I think we should become a country of world class transportation and remove all old trains with AC
Honestly after visiting london , i wish mumbai has the same easy card swap system. I feel ashamed how can our local be in so bad state . Its a shame while having so much budget
Even if it has failed although i don't believe it.....it is worth populating Mumbai suburb with ac local. It will improve the quality of travel of mumbaikars. It is filthy and traumatic to travel like cats and dogs in current local trains.
Ticket should be not more than 50 rs and pass should not be more than 1000 rs plus frequency need to increase and I promise it will definitely work successfully entire year.
If all trains are replaced by ac trains in Mumbai with affordable prices then it will be successful, also people will stop hanging on train doors because of automatic doors.
We have a big population, conscription would be economically disastrous for our government. We won't be able to pay so many people for even a couple years.
We need to waste some years for country and also salaries for such huge population and training cost will be very high But i personally want conscription should be there even if they don't give salary
aur central ke line me to ac train ki window glass tod fod ke rakhi hai... ye bohat hi galat hai.. ye hamari property hai.. uska aise galat karna achhi baat nahi na...
I think instead of AC local they should have adjusted AC compartments to each running local . And as per demand they can add or minus the compartments.
Way too complex.. remember this is not express, they are trainsets.. so you can't actually adjust them accordingly after it is manufactured and sent into service
It's a new concept, but if you consider the trend of value, make 3 compartments to be added to all 12 coach trains. So that people will utilise the same.
Once AC trains become more common, prices will reduce significantly and become almost like non AC fares. In fact, we shouldn't consider AC as a ' luxury '. It is basic comfort for the passengers and crew.
Here in India AC is still seen as a luxury but in the world like Europe AC is an essential. Indians have the money to afford AC trains but still PPL consider AC as very expensive
Bro on central and trans harbour the AC local are a hit. They are going fully packed. People are prefering ac local rather than buying a first class ticket on normal. Local.
Central and western line ke liye ac train kind of successful hai but harbour line me abhi tak to fail hai jaise ke video me reason bataye hai. Timing to habour line bahut hi odd hai and costly padta hai
Just a second, I travel IN AC train, and by no means it is failed, there is no place to sit in the train for the major areas in central Mumbai. Stop faking and try some real life things.
I think railways should give 1 AC coach to not all but at least every 3rd local train, rather than having a complete AC local. The problem of having a full AC local is that we have to be on time to catch it. In a city like Mumbai our job timings are not fixed especially the leaving time. So most of the people don't buy it's seasonal pass. This won't be a problem if every 3rd local train has an AC coach.
Sir ye sirf pick ours mein hi successfully chal rhi hai baki hours mein ye ekdam khali jaa rhi hai ye loss mein hi rahegi always ya fir isi pass first class walo ki pass se thoda upar rakhde to may be first class wale ac mein shift ho jaye tab shayad kuch baat baney ya fir inhe non peak hours mein na chalaye uski jaga regular chalaye kyubki ab regular mein non peak hours mein bhi bhid badhne lagi hai

AC locals are superhit ❤ 🎉 Things can improve but they are on right track.
we atleast have to make automatic closing door common because it can save many lives and can also protect you from thugs who jumps into the train
AC Trains are not Fail. It has been Hit and a great success.
It's same with AC buses. I remember they used to run AC bus every 10 minutes on one route but other routes had hardly one.
That's wrong statement to make especially for western line railways adding more AC locals due to demands
Can we change the outlooks of our local trains? Just like the modern Metro trains??
I always travel by AC local.. Love it. It is not failure. I use central line..
The fare of AC locals is stupendous. There is no logic why it should be so much. It shouldn’t in any way be more than 3 times the normal fare.
Also most ac trains are not functioning on Sunday, I mean people like to go town side on sundays for recreational purposes and such travellers will not mind spending extra to go comfortably alas hardly any trains
I know rakes need to go for maintenance but isn't this a business opportunity?
good point
They don't have that many trains yet.
Akkhi train Khali jate, Thane- Panvel route pe 2 types ki local chalti hai, ek AC aur dusri Central Line ki purani Wali dabba jisme fan bhi nahi chalte
After the change in fare for AC local with respect to first class tickets... I think it's reviving again! They realised their mistakes.
why AC local train is so high RS 100, here in delhi we fare is only RS 60 from one station to another its depends on you how far you are going fare remains same
Mumbai and Delhi have difference
@@TheRealAsTrO_xy delhi is better place
@@TheRealAsTrO_xy In Delhi metro the maximum they can charge you is 60, and most commutes are under 40 rupees
Bro I have two family members who prefer AC train just for one reason "AC train me gardi nahi rehti."
I totally agree with u even i think that if common local trains charges 15 Rs fare of travel then Ac local should charge atmost 30rs the travel fare. Then only it would be successful and budget friendly for every mumbaikars
Don't know much about other AC locals but one AC fast which travel between Thane - csmt always seems fully packed during peak hours
I can see so many people actually commenting that its not failed. I think we should become a country of world class transportation and remove all old trains with AC
Honestly after visiting london , i wish mumbai has the same easy card swap system. I feel ashamed how can our local be in so bad state . Its a shame while having so much budget
Frequency has increased on Western railway...tickets price is about same as first class ticket...just 20-30 rs more than FC ticket
Even if it has failed although i don't believe it.....it is worth populating Mumbai suburb with ac local. It will improve the quality of travel of mumbaikars. It is filthy and traumatic to travel like cats and dogs in current local trains.
*Mumbaikar be Like:*
*Inhe Sonne ka Katora Do tab bhi bheek hi mangenge* 😁😁♥️
like metro mumbai western and Central railway must convert into air-conditioned
with reasonable ticket fare
Do you have something to say now?
Ticket should be not more than 50 rs and pass should not be more than 1000 rs plus frequency need to increase and I promise it will definitely work successfully entire year.
True, Panvel se Thane and return sirf 3-4 train chalti hai poore din me… Agar frequency badjaaye toh even I will take pass
These ac local trains are only for people's who earn 30k+ salary, business man etc not for common peoples in shorts its for rich class😌😌
If all trains are replaced by ac trains in Mumbai with affordable prices then it will be successful, also people will stop hanging on train doors because of automatic doors.
Easier said than done
@@MrAgolikeri Typical Mumbaikar behaviour
@@MrAgolikeri Clownery 🤡
U are totally wrong …. Stop spreading hate its best way to commute in hot summer or rainy seasons
#AskPT In some countries, it is mandatory to join the army for certain years. Why we don't need this type of rules in India🇮🇳
Their population is low and these are smaller countries.
We have a big population, conscription would be economically disastrous for our government. We won't be able to pay so many people for even a couple years.
If you are desperate to fight. Can volunteer for free.
We need to waste some years for country and also salaries for such huge population and training cost will be very high
But i personally want conscription should be there even if they don't give salary
Does AC local has charging point?
Kyu 420k subscribers hoke bhi 90k hi views hain . Make a video on this..
Today also travel time is not good. its not ruining at office time and delay time is also a problem.
Broo it's actually not a failure on the western line! People use it! And it's the best our Mumbai locals can get!
No doubt frequency is the issue...but it is not a failed project for sure
aur central ke line me to ac train ki window glass tod fod ke rakhi hai... ye bohat hi galat hai.. ye hamari property hai.. uska aise galat karna achhi baat nahi na...
I think instead of AC local they should have adjusted AC compartments to each running local . And as per demand they can add or minus the compartments.
Way too complex.. remember this is not express, they are trainsets.. so you can't actually adjust them accordingly after it is manufactured and sent into service
All station's in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai should be redevelop by gov for better connectivity and good services
It is Very Informative. ❤️
Is he serious?? AC trains are hit. The trains in western line are always full. Even after summer trains are full because of rain.
Local train ki timings hi sabse bada mudda hai. Wo thk ho jaye to max problem resolve ho jayega.
Here in India AC is still seen as a luxury but in the world like Europe AC is an essential. Indians have the money to afford AC trains but still PPL consider AC as very expensive
Yo bro - just a feedback, there’s a mistake in the title. Don’t use past tense after “did” as that’s incorrect use of English. I enjoy your videos!
ac local सबसे सुरक्षित पर्याय है. थोडा rates का REVIEW लेणे के बाद वो प्रोब्लेम भी निकाल जाएगा . ac local हि मुंबई suburban का भविष्य है.
Bro on central and trans harbour the AC local are a hit. They are going fully packed. People are prefering ac local rather than buying a first class ticket on normal. Local.
Bro In Mumbai where do you live ...
Borivali
@@Anoymous464 how do you know?
@@railcentral43 Guess work
I feel he lives somewhere around dhanu🙄
Central and western line ke liye ac train kind of successful hai but harbour line me abhi tak to fail hai jaise ke video me reason bataye hai. Timing to habour line bahut hi odd hai and costly padta hai
Just a second, I travel IN AC train, and by no means it is failed, there is no place to sit in the train for the major areas in central Mumbai. Stop faking and try some real life things.
Time table & price
I think railways should give 1 AC coach to not all but at least every 3rd local train, rather than having a complete AC local.
The problem of having a full AC local is that we have to be on time to catch it. In a city like Mumbai our job timings are not fixed especially the leaving time. So most of the people don't buy it's seasonal pass.
This won't be a problem if every 3rd local train has an AC coach.
1:06 The first reason is invalid. They should make more trains for running them at a higher frequency
Sir ye sirf pick ours mein hi successfully chal rhi hai baki hours mein ye ekdam khali jaa rhi hai ye loss mein hi rahegi always ya fir isi pass first class walo ki pass se thoda upar rakhde to may be first class wale ac mein shift ho jaye tab shayad kuch baat baney ya fir inhe non peak hours mein na chalaye uski jaga regular chalaye kyubki ab regular mein non peak hours mein bhi bhid badhne lagi hai
Agar mumbai local Ac trains ki frequency increse kar di jye aur Fare kiraya kam kar diya jaye toh Mumbai Local ac Sucessful ho sakti hai
Bhai yes it failed in central railway but not in western
Just try to travel from dadar to borivali in Ac local
AC trains have succeeded in the Western Line of Mumbai.
Because no one has money to buy first class tickets
Best idea is...Sab local ko ac kar do. Non ac train hata do..uske bad dekho dekho ac local kayse 100 parcent marks main pass hota hai.
