Free traveling between the Asian countries would be great. I think Cambodia's tourist industry could benefit. Now it lags behind Vietnam and Thailand and the authorities should make up their mind (as they obviously do!) about the reasons. Definitely it is not due to the people or nature..... Tourists with limited time and small kids are really unhappy when crossing borders and heaps of paperwork has to be controlled in long waiting queues.
Well they could recoup some of the money from a Tourist tax like they do in Malaysia. You just pay it at the hotel, easy revenue maker.
@@ForRiel I fully agree. Ididn't want to claim we tourists from so called developed countries do not have the 35 $ for a visa when travelling SEA. It is more the paperwork on top...

Yes! This was fun. Between this and the videos while you do the news I feel like I could hop on a bike and get anywhere at this point in SR! I even know where not to turn left. 😂 thank you guys for your great videos. Cambodia is at the top of our list for resetting.

Sadly looking a bit hazy. Good to see NR6 looking reasonably quiet though - I always found it something of an unpleasant ride along there. Trucks and buses barreling past with a few inches to spare. Invariably I would end up taking the slower parallel dirt roads through villages, end up getting sidetracked...lol
That was a few months ago, we had a lot of smoke due to burning season. As well people were burning leaves which are plentiful that time of year.

Thank you, they really did should the extent of the looking. So sad so many countries still have these stolen items. The family should also pay back the money to Cambodia for the illegal sale of those items.

The common visa could be good or bad. Currently, Fijians get 90 days in Vietnam, 30 days in Malaysia, Cambodia and Lao, but only 14 days in Thailand. If the common visa means 90 days for all, then great, but if it means 14 days for some, then we will stop traveling ASEAN and start traveling South America.
At the moment it's still in the planning stage, but I'm sure they just want your money wherever you're from 🤩

That's hard to say. It's the second largest City in Cambodia, but most places are only a 10min moto ride away.

We only know it as the breakfast chicken restaurant 😋 It's packed every morning. Jeremy might go tomorrow to get some.
Thanks. Sounds like a locals place. A few blocks from Angkor High School is one of the Muffin man locations. Across the street and down about a block is a Cambodian soup restaurant. We noticed every morning the street was packed with tuks and motorcycles in front of it. One morning we ventured in and ordered soup and loved it. They charged us $1.00 per bowl and it included hot tea. We never saw any other westerners there but loved the experience.

G;Day Claire n Big J , I think its way over due for free tourist visas ! , how many family's visit other close countries , start multiplying the cost of visa's alone and theres a huge reason for most not to visit and use money else where , as for the train crash lots need to be done to prevent these horrific scenes , I have attended and seen too many in my service , always bad to watch , any ways don't get too wet ...

I really hate it when a government over reaches and shuts down the fun for their citizens. Water fun during the celebration is a way for people to destress and restart the new year. I doubt the people will obey the silly demand .
I think it will be the same as usual here in Siem Reap. Lots and lots of people who live in Phnom Penh will leave for the provinces.
