Layan Sima Fuleihan - On March 25, the UN Security Council finally passed a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, to be implemented during the month of Ramadan and to end on April 9. The resolution was able to pass because the US did not exercise its veto power as it did on three other occasions. But the US immediately called it “non-binding” and said it would not impact Israel’s war. Layan Sima Fuleihan, the Education Director at The People’s Forum and an editor at 1804 Books, joins the show to discuss this major shift by the US, the global solidarity movement for Palestine and the rising tide of public pressure on the US and Israel for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
Kei Pritsker - ISIS-K, an offshoot of ISIS called Islamic State in Khorasan, claimed responsibility for the March 22 attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall outside Moscow that killed 133 people. While US officials were quick to put the blame on ISIS, Russia’s President Putin claimed that the attackers were aided by Western and Ukrainian intelligence. BreakThrough’s Kei Pritsker discusses the attack and the new generation of terrorism as the US continues to wage reckless global war.
Amzat Boukari-Yabara - Senegal is celebrating after Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the young, anti-establishment presidential candidate defeated the French-backed president Macky Sall to win the country’s Presidential election. Faye’s election follows months of protests in the country, where thousands have taken to the streets to rise up against widespread poverty and neo-colonialism. Amzat Boukari-Yabara, a Historian, author, and the President of the Pan-African League UMOJA, explains how Faye’s election fits into the anti-colonial uprising sweeping the Sahel.
Dharna Noor - Six people are presumed dead after a cargo ship hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore on Tuesday, causing the bridge's collapse. All six have been identified as immigrant construction workers who were working to repair potholes on the bridge. The bridge collapse has ignited conversations about the country’s aging infrastructure and the hazardous working conditions many immigrant workers face. Dharna Noor, a fossil fuels and climate reporter at The Guardian, joins Rania and Eugene to discuss her reporting from on the ground in Baltimore.

China is also building auto plants there that would offer decent paying jobs.

The 4 terrorists were actually mercenaries and, incredibly, they really received money to do it. They filmed themselves doing islamic rituals in a very wrong way (left hands). They also were very high on a very scary designer drug while they were doing the killing. They also tried to survive the attack and run away. All things that ISIS don't really do. So it's a very strange ISIS attack. It could have been ISIS I suppose but if it is, it's the first ISIS attack of it's kind. It's possible but not very likely. It's much more likely that it's just a mercenary attack organised by the CIA and their Ukrainian proxies.

It seems to me that the RulesBasedOrder NEVER gets a resolution to ANYTHING so that it becomes LAW, instead it just DRAGS THINGS OUT and applies or ignores it situations and actions it doesn't want or like.
A RESOLUTION is the KEY to our getting back fair and just International LAWS.
