Trinidad and Tobago is 1 country. And thank you for visiting and showing so much love for our culture and distinct geographical and historical richness. Please visit again!🇹🇹🇹🇹❤❤❤
I can't help it, i've seen it a hundred times, but every time i see Kazza choking on that beer "down the wrong throat" It cracks me up! You guys are the best!
Just gotta day how amazing that shot is at 16:25!!!! That’s amazing how the people are still and the water is still flowing! Wow! Props to whoever shot that! Mind blown! 🤯
Thanks for the Trinidad vlog guys. I was born there but left when I was a teenager. Its been over 40 years. Its great to see some of the things I grew up with and enjoyed so much. Life in the States is great, but sometimes I long to break free again.
I still remember the first night out in the bars in PI at the age of 19. great music, lots of babes and well ??? this was a hoot. once again delos showed us where the real party is!! Thanks Guys.
As a steel pan player in the USA I was happy to see you cover the steel pan in Trinidad. I actually have a steel pan made by the man who is the father of the steel pan. Also the band leader in the red Bayern Munchen shirt is my friend Duvonne Stewart who is possibly the best steel pan composer in the world. If you get to NC look me up and I will come play for you! :)
One of your best for sure. I had the pleasure of working there for sometime and loved it! Great people and food, loved the Rotti and the language, Trini’s have the best carnival of all for sure.
This was my favorite video. Awesome edit. I'd pay to see a full length movie in a theatre if the Delos crew filmed it, edited it and starred in it. You guys are awesome and the best part of Fridays. Thank you for being you.
😮 I’m Screaming 😱 Out So loud you’re in My Country The Beautiful Island Of Trinidad 🇹🇹 An Tobago 🇹🇹. Can I just point out how helpful Trinidadians are. they had three separate local volunteer guides, on three separate days. I also love how this video captured my culture.
Hi,I'm a long time watcher, first time commenter. Thank you for this video, me thinks you managed to capture what carnival in Trinidad is all about.Well done!
DUUUDE! Ya'll had me at limin! I grew up in the Caribbean so, you guys brought back so many memories. I love how you guys just jumped in and experienced de whole ting. You guys are so amazing! Love love loved this episode so much! Only ting missin was Kazza and Blue doing some whine-up! LMAO
It's almost impossible to capture the true taste of a carnival, or even a party; you did it. Brilliant, you made me feel like I was there. Thank you! Safe travels!
You bring it all to the table...adventure, ecology and culture...never failing to make learning exciting... about others and the world we live in...you have something pretty special going on Delos...I and many others say " Thank you" ...
Well said. They really show the power of people working together in a real spirit of "family." This video really is heartwarming while still being educational and fun. It's gonna be a blast seeing the rest of the Caribbean from their perspective.
The colors! Beautiful photography of a colorful culture and their traditions. The fun and the smiles captured on film captivated my face and made me join in (The smiles 🤗 - not the twerking! 😳)! Living across the bay from Mobile, AL, where America’s Mardi Gras began, it was intriguing to see where many of our traditions came from. Thank you for sharing the fun so beautifully, and for sharing the joy and happiness of such an amazing event.
The drum show and tradition was awesome :) I thought I know a lot about traditions all around the world but this was something I didn't know from anywhere. Thank you guys for opening my eyes! Greetings from SY Cookie Monster and enjoy the rhythm of sailing! Hugs and kisses from Estonia :)
Unbelievable,👀 I only just discovered you guys on UA-cam about a month ago...., I CAN'T get enough, awesome job,🙌 thank you for the great job you did in highlighting our beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago. Trust me, this is just a drop in the bucket, one needs to spend more time here to experience the true essence of our culture, our food, our people and our rhythm.SO happy you were able to come here and share your experience with the World....Thank you and please come again, everyone is welcomed!!💕👍
An explosion of youthful joy and happiness expressed in dance, drinking and total exuberance. Naturally I am SHOCKED by some of the more base dancing and more than a little DISTURBED by the gyrations and unabashed lust for life displayed at various times, in fact, I had to re-watch several moments more than once just to ensure that I was properly DISTURBED by all this joy of living. I think I will have to visit Trinidad soon just to experience I mean investigate such an amazing party. What an amazing people and place you have shown in this video, thank-you very much.
Just when I think best place to visit is calm and chill, just "relax and enjoy", you hit us with "party until your legs fall off" with beautiful fun loving people. Your skills at showing the little treasures and diversity of cultures around the world are amazing and get better every episode.
The steel pan music was awesome. The carnival celebration brought flash backs of the time I went to Carnival in Las Establas, Panama back in 1982. I was quite similar a wild party during the day with paint, water, craziness, and then a chill out period where everyone got cleaned up for dinner, dancing, and partying until the 3 am. It was wakeup and repeat for 4 days. It was amazing. Thank you for bringing back the memories and sharing your epic adventure. Fair Winds SV Delos.
I’ve re-watched this episode 3 or 4 Times now. I’ve been a fan for years, I think this is one of my favorite videos/ edits. That song “thank god” is so good : ) love you guys
Wow! You guys, this is a new high for UA-cam! You brought tears to my eyes and I loved the video more than you can imagine. Alex you did a super duper job of editing this. You all are so creative and such wonderful spirited people. You made my day! Thanks so much. John H.
Trinidad is a very lucky country in terms of geographical location. They are separated from Venezuela only by a few miles of sea and they share like 50 percent of Venezuela's oil reserves. So it is like grabbing the apples form the branches of the neighbor's tree while they extend over the fence into your property. Great people and great Carnival. I remember listening to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony played by a steel band. Trinidad, like Curacao and Aruba are kind of safely away from the normal hurricane routes so it is a good port to take refuge during hurricane season.
I have always say, is not happier the one have everything, but the one that need less. Those people are happier than many Americans that have everything. Happiness is our own state of mind and make the best with what we have and enjoy music, dancing, people and life. Love this video and the islands. Miss my Cuba.
Alex- you are sick at photography and editing! Love your art. I can’t believe how you guys blend right into these different places so quickly. Love you guys!
I'm literally jumpin' up in my seat. Parti sweet! As a Trinidadian-Canadian, I have been trying to describe J'Ouvert and Carnival to Canadians for years. It's something you really have to experience, isn't it. This video says it all! OMG .... that was amazing. Thank you for risking cleanliness, sanity and camera equipment to bring it to everyone.
Enjoyed this so much. Thank you for showing me places and things I'll proably never have the opportunity to experience... sending love and smiles, Lisa:))))))
Blue nailed this one. I wasn’t going to watch this episode because there wasn’t much sailing and there are lots of sailing channels around the Caribbean BUT I am so glad I did, it was a lot of fun and I kept laughing throughout. Well done Delos crew.
National Geographic & editing 3.0! Dear Salty Sailors, went back to watch this section I missed when I was ill back then. Fully recovered from that. But now being bed ridden after being run over in a dark alley, I turned to Delos. Watching that missed section when I wake. Then going back to sleep. Liz sucked me in and I love her. I need to find out if she still has a blog. Much love to the Ninja Beast too! I never write here. But this episode blew my mind. This episode's still images and editing were next level and should have been recognized as such. Oscar winning short documentaries in the past, are way shy of what you put out here. Safe travels. Love from Boulder, CO.
Ok, this is one episode that could have been a bit longer........ a couple of days longer to be precise! I really didn't want it to end. I had no idea Trinidadians were so awesome. You have once again shown a culture in such a way that blows all conceptions one may have had out of this world. A very great job Tribe Delos, now both Trinidad and Brazil owe you for your amazing public relations work on their behalf.
2Qwk2C carnival actually last two days , but starts with enormous parties from the Friday and the actual carnival bands and calypsonians or anyone important have parties called fetes months before ! It’s crazy .... I’m 40 now and cannot handler anymore 🤣

The reason everyone takes you guys around is you’ve become family to us all. Catch up to you in the Caribbean this winter to party and water sports off my stink Potter. Lol
I really enjoyed this particular vid, being a national of Trinidad and Tobago myself. It was awesome seeing you guys enjoy our nature, culture, food, music and rums and hearing all your excitement and positive comments. I only recently subscribed to your channel and started following your adventures. I was pleasantly surprised to see my country featured. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed yourselves. (Just a footnote though: No educated Trinidadian likes to hear that "Columbus discovered the islands" as you rightly said there were inhabitants already here. He definitely changed our course of history though.) Blessings to your entire crew! Great job! And keep them coming!
delos, delos, delos.. this is me calling! :) i love you! i am out of english words.... u bring education and love to the world! this is simply the best sailing channel on youtube!!! i say again.. delos delos delos.. i LOVE YOU!!! ::)

Blue is a great addition to the crew, mad respect!
I really can’t stand this redheaded lady Boi I is voice is so gravely he sounds like he’s talking with helium. Blue is his name?
As much as I enjoy the sailing and LOVE the diving- the history and geography and local culture stuff is just as awesome!
Just gotta day how amazing that shot is at 16:25!!!! That’s amazing how the people are still and the water is still flowing! Wow! Props to whoever shot that! Mind blown! 🤯
The shot shower that is cool. Great party never saw anything like that before not even in Brazil best carnival ever.

Absolutely loved the slow mo shot of the waterfall, the water coming down and the mist going up, visually stunning. You rock.

Not that Lucky anymore we are not allowed to use venezuelan oil fields cause of sanctions
