Greg, have you considered shaving down the first gen bumper? Make it about half as thick to snug it up to the front end. Retain the nice stock look with a lot more detail.
Greg what about tearing down the first gen this winter and getting the frame cleaned up and painted, then clear the body as it is or repaint it? You know you love the first gen and it's just slowly rusting away.
if you make a little guide block on your bead roller that you can screw on then you can make those beads super even! i did this too and it works really good.

Definitely get a c6 z06. Nice heads and big cam and that’s one hell of a play vehicle. Just make sure he’s careful. I watched my best friend die in a crash in his c6 corvette a couple months ago.
The plastic wheel covers on that Buick though..........one can only imagine the needed driving skills to hand craft them while still attached to the vehicle........

Hey Greg I got a 6.7 cummins did 48re swap after cracking the inside of mine and wanted to do cp3 upgrade do you recommend a stroker or twin cp3 planning for 1000hp eventually trans is built for it already lol love the vids and appreciate any Input on best fuel set up
I would go dual pumps if you're not trying to keep it stock looking. they don't work as hard and if one pump or fca happens to die, you have the second to get you by. plus, you can pick up stock cp3s for cheap. and of course the cool factor.

His charcoal filter may be clogged causing the hard start, that or the gas cap could not be venting even though the tank already vents to the charcoal canister, or purge valve could be bad?
Hey I picked up an 07 6.7 mega cab 4x4 a couple weeks ago with 108k on it for 13.5k at the auctions. You can get clean or little work needed 2012 year range for high teens to low 20k depending on the auction crowd when the auction goes live.

Under 40k you can get your hands on a decent C6Z and probably not lose much money on it at all. Do not go C7 unless you’re gonna get a wide body. A C6 GS or Z will probably hold solid vale through the next few years. If you find a deal you may not even lose a dime. If you buy an LS7 car, you should probably budget to fix the heads, that’s all.

Tell Andy to clean the gas tank breather. It's probably clogged that's why it starts hard when gas cap is on tight. It's building up pressure.

What's your opinion on a 4th gen G56 manual as a daily driver?
I love my 14 g56.... it can be a bit of a chore in bad traffic, but thats a small price to pay.

Never used a bead roller before but I think to make the bead straighter you could use some wizard wrap to mark a straight line and follow that around
Check the breather on the tank. Mud dobers like to climb in there and make nests.
Put a C10 front bumper on the first gen, you might have to modify it a little bit but it is a lot thinner and sleeker look

Any bumper form 1972-1993 will fit your first gen. Look for a early 70s truck bumper. They were a bit thinner and sleeker
