Nice job, looks clean as, u made it look easy. That engine bay is super clean to. I also made some of those vice grips bead rollers today. They work well. What’s that little tool called u used that get the burrs out of the inside of the pipes after u cut them.
Thanks!! Picked it up off of eBay www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-2-5-610mm-Aluminum-Turbo-Intercooler-Piping-Kit-Hose-Bolt-Clamps-/333699377360?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Do you know if the U pipes will work with an Integra without clearance issues? I'm not sure if the civics and integras are the same.
My car doesn't have very many manufacturers making performance parts for it, so an airtec IC would set me back 750-800(USD), while the Fiesta ST IC is only 460(USD)... So yeah, I wondered if custom was worth the hassle, and also could hopefully route hot n cold on opposite sides (the few ICs I see ar same side) PeugeotSport 208GTi (vid on my channel) They can reach intake temps of 50-60c just on stock boost btw, not good 🙈

@@BSGSpeedFab Thank you so much been looking around just wasn't sure what size it was. Do you know if your stock bumper fit on it without showing the hot and cold side piping on each side?
@@BSGSpeedFab The grill section you’re referring to is the middle right? Where the intercooler is at. I wanna keep the side little grill fins factory from the outside without the piping exposed. As oem as possible.
Your custom bead roll looks even better than what the pipes came with 😂
Lol thank you!!
8:22 Those piping flares look GREAT! Never would've expected that from a home-made tool.

Great Idea on that bead roll tool! Makeshift tools are the best!
Thank you!
Nice video. Thanks.

Awesome! Thank you. The tool is called a rotary deburring tool. Super useful. Glad you vise grip bead roller worked out for you.

What kind of welding setup do you have and how much did it cost?
I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Do you know if the U pipes will work with an Integra without clearance issues? I'm not sure if the civics and integras are the same.
Integras should be very similar. I don’t see why the U pipes would not work
@@BSGSpeedFab I'm just going to buy it a give it a try. Thank for the info and great videos.

Also, huge respect for your efforts, wish I could know as much some day!
Sick job on the piping! Do you need get full penetration so the pipes don't crack in the future or can you get away with it?
Thanks! It’s always best to get good penetration. My thoughts are you want enough penetration but while keeping the inside as smooth as possible.
@@BSGSpeedFab Thanks for reply! Keep up the good work
Do you mind if I ask what you coated your cast manifold with?
High temp cerakote. Here’s the link to the exact one I used www.cerakote.com/shop/cerakote-coating/C-148/burnt-bronze
What about the iat sensor?

@@billlagudas yes I did test the stock bumper and it fit with the piping. The grill section does need a lot of trimming to clear the intercooler

The grill needs to be trimmed but that’s it
