I didn't know that the Flowey laugh was from the emotion Flowers in Tomba, but I always thought they sounded very similar. Nice little piece of info I learned today. Can't wait to get Tomba on my Switch
I think for me this year's best indie of recent times has to be Tunic. It was such a beautiful and clever game, plus the soundtrack was awesome.
Hats off to the artist who makes your thumbnails, they are hitting it out of the park every week.
I played Tunic for many hours and really enjoyed it, I felt it was kinda like Dark Souls met early Zelda. i dropped it tho after getting stuck on a boss plus real life obligations getting in the way and some big game drops like Totk... thanks for reminding me, I should probably get back to that game 😅
Wasnt that 2022? Its def a good game tho a little obtuse for its own good. I really have enjoyed a ton of Indie games lately, from Vengeful Guardian Moonrider, to the new Ultrakill and Ion Fury content, to Cursed to Golf oreven Valheim as a newer indie/AA game. Tiny Rogues is fun too, tho is in EA.
Oh Teardown was a 2022 game too, incredible to play.

Yeah we essentially got the lesser product. I mean there is going for authenticity, but did NO one at YachtClub stop to think that westerners would feel cheated when you inevitably learned of these changes??
I think there is a cheat code to paly with them in english. I could be wrong

One of the first Indies I ever played was the first Shovel Knight in the 3DS, it was awesome that Nintendo support indies back in the day (and now of course), and also this game was incredible one the best 2D platformers in the 3DS and maybe the best Indie 2D plataformer (maybe because I really love Yooka Layle's second game)
Keep in mind it was Xbox and even Playstation and the scene exploding on PC that over like ten years finally twisted Nintendos arm to support indie devs, partially thanks to one guy who worked there finally convincing them. They werent a very indie friendly platform til halfway through the WiiU iirc. The other platforms pushed smaller content back when I was a teenager even, like... Shit, 20 years ago now? Better late than never i suppose.

Madness Project Nexus is really fun, and the soundtrack is killer. Plus it's getting a new update pretty soon for free.

Butt Mode is the ultimate proof that adult gamers haven't matured a day since they were 5. Children think butts and farts are the funniest thing in the world (for some reason), and should think/could've hoped that we as a adults had put those primitive times behind us.

Great video, although at this point in life, the whole "facts to fall asleep to" is just for the clickbait lol. Especially when whoever voices these don't really have a soothing voice, the music doesn't help either.
I slept to random videos of theirs before they started making compilations so i guess they did it for people like me :p
