Hi! Dave, here's a video idea. You should sometime read the fingerpori comic strips and see if you can understand the puns. Litlebit like your finnish idioms videos, like they could be translated to englis by Cat or something? Just an idea, fingerpori is the best!
That's actually very good idea! Fingerpori is sometimes hard to understand even for a native Finnish speaker xD
Nice idea! I haven't done it until now because I've heard that they're "untranslatable"... But now I've just seen that there's a Fingerpori book translated into English. So... consider it done!

I just realized I've watched your videos for years and years and never left a comment. You both are so charming, unpretentious, warm-hearted and down to earth, could listen to your banter all day long. My favourite video so far was when your mom was as a guest for alcohol tasting and seemed to like every single drink. I'm used to Finnish alcohol but even I can't stand Valhalla for example. I like that you somewhat got accustomed to salmiakki on the way.
10:57 I actually ate some fazer and I got that burning sensation. I didn't know anyone else had the same feeling. I don't think it's lactose intolerance because I can drink any milks just fine

@@CatCadwallader I get that sometimes from just plain old pulla, like pictured in the wrapper. It's just not just wheat, sugar or cinnamon alone, but possibly the combination of those.

I also get the slight burn from chocolate sometimes, but I think it's just some of the stuff going very slightly down the wrong pipe.

I tasted those suffeli mini crisps some time ago and I thought they would taste of banana because of the colour of the package. 😅
Fazer Pullava... If they keep going like this, I feel like they're actually going to make the Fazer Gambina (you can find a photoshopped image of it online, along with many other strange fake Fazer chocolate flavours)
I know the burning sensation. When it is sticky formula and bitter cocoa, it goes there. With Kinder especially tho. Nothing like allergy, more like just from it being sticky and therefore messing up my throat
I tried their Dumle polka mint. It's lovely!
About the Kismet. Fazer made their Geisha flavored Kismet smaller (55 grams -> 41 grams) too, so might be their new size for special or limited edition Kismets. Hopefully not.

I get that burning sensation from some chocolates like Tupla! I'm not even allergic to almonds.
I agree with the 'burning' sensation as well - that's not quite what it is but it's close enough.
Maybe it's just a bad batch of cocoa beans. Apparently if you overroast them, they can acquire a bitter taste.
Awaiting the clickbait titles coming from this (albeit one-sided) beef, maybe "BIGGEST FINNISH LETDOWN" or perhaps "CANCELLING FAZER?!" 😝
(I got dumle fudge in those Christmas chocolate boxes, not sure if it'll make it to become a present or I cave in and eat it myself 😁)

Yeah I actually didn't try out that new Kismet at Prisma the other day, when I compared the size to normal Kismet, ended up taking just two normal bigger ones lol. Freck that baby-Kismet!

I'm pretty sure the burning sensation is dehydration caused by the sweetness. At least that's how I've always thought about it, since it goes away after drinking some water.

Quality control for the boxes is lacking😑 Or they have someone stealing from the assembly line... but the missing note does seem more like a simple skipped step.
With the LOT number of the box they should be able to track pretty accurately when the mistakes happened. Hopefully the feedback improves their performance for all the future boxes☺
Since every box is the same, or is supposed to be, they could check them with a scale. It would immediately reveal if something is missing, but also if there's something extra in the box.

The Fudge Dumble is nothing new its been in candy boxes in chistmas time on several years already. Its nice that you can now get it in normal candy bag and full year but still its not nothing new.

Could it be that maybe that burning sensation is because of acid reflux? I heard that chocolate can maybe cause that.
I usually get that slight throat burn from Panda's Juhlapöydän konvehteja chocolates. It's not because of the chocolate itself, but I think it's got something to do with mixing chocolate and some different ingredients like toffee or fruit jelly. Starts to tickle my throat and sometimes it goes away only after drinking water.

At least some are. Geisha is. I've assumed the ingredients (and/or smaller scale production) are more expensive and they want the bar to be (about) the same price.

That's the way Fazer and other companies work. Dumle Fudge was sold in a box last year. It's "new" because you can now get it in a bag. :D

I don't know if the Kismet is smaller because of inflation. Or actually it's called "shrinkflation" and you can see it in many different products with new fancy packaging.

Regular Kismet is still the same tho. Often the special versions are smaller no matter the candy.

Sometimes chocolate burns like hellfire on my throat. It can be after one piece or after more, there is no rhyme or reason. Very weird. It is the worst when I get spit/drool/tongue moist in the wrong throat while eating chocolate, it is like pouring new year's tin down on my throat.

Dumle fugde isn't new thing. Fazer have sold them before in boxes like other Christmas candy.
I am pro-finished product, so I have to ask: have you considered breaking your videos into parts, that is, defining in youtube what happens and in which part of the video and so on? This video could have been split into different candy sections.

As a finnish person i can tell you that those candy are not even in stores yet. I also want to know when you say finnish words do you know what they mean. 6:52 i will now answer to your question. Fazer some times changes some candy in mix bags as an example i will use the remix salmiakki bag. They change some candy to taste like salmiakki. Are you finnish because you speak pretty good finnish?
