Never tried cumin... hmmm. So good on carot salad. Oh lemon balm is now a weed in my garden. Weeding =collecting herbal tea. Nice. I’m here after seeing your berry planting. I want to combine berries and herbs.

I agree that lemon balm is a great weed to have! And planting berries and herbs together is a great idea.

To eradicate fungus nats you need a two pronged method. Getting rid of the eggs is only half the battle, you also need to address the adults. To the soil Diatomaceous earth is a good start along with neem cake, on the surface of the pot a light sprinkle of ground cinnamon does wonders. The adults can be addressed with yellow sticky tags placed in the edge of pot, also cinnamon will deter the layong of eggs. Bottom water also helps. I had a bad infestation, after doing the above I rarely see one at present. Hope this helps. Laurie.

Dampening off is instantly stopped by garlic juice ( 2 cloves puréed into 750 ml). Indoors... well... aromatic

I hope a constructive comment, when you talk i would prefer no music or 90 % less volume.
Perennial : i love golden oregano. Makes a fun moss-like dome, very good taste. Annual : basil, hands down.

Thank you for the constructive comment - that is good to know. I don't want the music to make it hard to hear. I also love basil. I will look into the golden oregano.
