This is exactly what I was hoping to find to get ideas on how to convert my utility trailer into a camping trailer without loosing the functionality of the trailer. Thanks guys 👍
You are my new heroes! I want to follow in your footsteps. I am going to see how many of these things I can buy on the facebook marketplace and save some money. We just sold our camper, I did not like the monthly payment. Thanks for such detailed info!
Your build is incredibly cool! Would love to build something that has a quick set up but can't rationalize the $ per space factor. I run a 12'x12' Alaknak that is massive and port an AC vent or stove flue out the roof jack.
What an absolutely brilliant idea! I have an iKamper Skycamp and my only dislike is that I can’t set up a basecamp and overland or go exploring with my truck without packing up every time. Factory offroad trailers are off-the-hook expensive just to pull an RTT around. This build is a solution to a lot of issues. I also have an annex attachment with an awning making this setup perfect. How is the durability of the trailer’s axle and wheels?

The trailer is rated for 2000lbs and fully loaded it was 1600 max. No issues so far. We did purchase decent load rated new tires.
What size is the basic trailer ,thanks for the great presentation
The trailer is 8’ x 5’. 😀
Love it guys, just subbed to your channel i to have an 8x5 trailer and am looking at doing something similar!
Thanks for the sub and have fun on your build. 😃
I love the setup, I’m going to steal your setup for my trailer. 👍🏼. Btw, what size trailer is that? Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. 😃 The trailer is 8 ft x 5 ft.
If you had to do it over would you pick a different trailer / different dimensions?
It would be interesting to try an small enclosed trailer.
An AWESOME Video!! Huge Value. I'm sure I'll have some questions . . .
Glad you found it helpful and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
