Mean and Moody as we photographers say, John, I laughed when you saw the Waterfall on the other side of the Loch, how often have we all done that.
The volume of Heather on the loch definately looks like a worthwhile return.

It took me a wee while to realise why it looked so atmospheric and remote. The lack of powerlines. Excellent location with multiple opportunities across the year.

The mono does it for me John but like both versions. Great use of the well worn path in the other images. If you return do so after heavy prolonged rain as that waterfall becomes a trickle very quickly. Continue along the right hand shore for about 2.5 miles until you reach a 'T' junction, turn left and walk a further 1 mile to reach the delightful Lochan Uaine with a waterside hut if I remember correctly. Easy walking all the way.

Thanks Marella! When I got back from this walk I decided to pull out a few maps and noticed that little lochan, but didn't see the hut on the maps. I'll head there on my next visit!

Hi John, great video again of a place I've been very close to but never visited, if in the area again it is a must..... looks so out of the way, but very accessable, I preferred the wider angle and the coloured version of the photo, but would accept both.......Got your 1st newsletter today, very informative, and will re-read it again to see if I missed anything....... just to finish John, thanks for taking the time to visit these outlying places for us and also to absorb what's on view and your description of it......Thanks again John.......Joe.

Another location to add to the list! Stop doing this to me, John. B&W or colour? Colour for me. Loved the lone tree, but as you walked further and saw that waterfall on the other side, I was hoping you'd find a shot that had the tree with the waterfall in the background.
