I definitely disagree with kitty that using fake memes made the episode less impactful, that's like saying the Brittney Spears episode was less impactful because she didn't really pee on a ladybug and blow her head off with a shotgun. Overexaggerating is part of the point, and memes are always changing and evolving anyways, so who's to say Faith-Hilling *couldn't* be a real meme? Making the episode about planking would've made it come across as cringy boomer whining, and totally date it.
as someone with autism, ADHD, and turrets, I can say for certain that I can see why people would confuse me for having asburgers, and if they confuse it, I can always correct them, it's when they are doing it to spite me I will have a problem, but if they don't know, then I can't get mad at them not being a mind reader
Because Aspebergers isn't recognized anymore and has been folded into general autism. And before that, Aspergers was a medically recognized Autism disorder.
Faith Hilling was hilarious to me. By the time the ending came, with Cartman and the Republican candidates dancing on stage, I was wondering what the "moral" of the episode is...only for the episode to essentially say that they didn't know what the message was either. But it doesn't matter, because "as long as you have topical humor, celebrity lampooning, and Republican candidates dancing with boobies, people are happy". It's one of those episodes that works up to the big punchline at the very end, and that punchline slayed me. Plus it had the boys just playing around and having silly shenanigans, which I always love.
This is a well timed video for me. I love south park but I see a trend of people taking south park too seriously. I have to acknowledge. I'm excited but I don't hardly want to own anyone by watching.
I'm not in the demographic to be saying this, but latinx is one of the dumbest ways to make something gender neutral. Also the trope of adding x to something to make it cool or gender neutral or something needs to stop, it's getting very noticable
I personally don't care if Justice is served in every episode. I don't care about jokes of domestic abuse or kids dying of cancer. It only had the effect of making Stanley's cup a little bit edgier. I thought the team getting absolutely destroyed and the one boy dying because his life was tied to some arbitrary thing outside anyone's control was absolutely hilarious.
I think the problem with a million little fibres is that it’s two b stories cobbled together. Towelie writing his memoir is sort of funny, as are Mingey and Gary, but they are best enjoyed in small doses. Neither plot can carry an episode
I didn’t mind the crab people episode, but it’s also not one of the episodes I go out of my way to rewatch when I’m in a south park mood. I’m not a queer eye fan but I am queer and understand why a lot of other queer people wouldn’t like it, but I found it pretty funny and I’ll always love the crab people twist and the chant that came with it
Crab people is an episode I'm so glad happened so we have crab people in later cameos like the video game. But yeah, the episode (and most fom the first 2 seasons) would have worked better as a 12 minute episode paired with another one.

I think my biggest problem with Ginger Cow was it felt a bit underbaked. Trey and Matt in the dvd commentary even mentioned how realistically the show should of been a two-parter or even a movie. Not one of the worst SP episodes, but one of the more disappointing for me.
Yes the Red Heifer, is a sign of the end of times, after which a great war takes place and the chosen people will rebuild a place of worship on the temple mount. This Heifer must have perfectly red hair, and no blemishes of any kind. Many companies have gone into the practice of breeding the perfect sacrifice for their god to start the show.
The F word is one of my favourite episodes, mainly because I also hate oberly loud motorcycles. I have nothing against gay people (as mentioned in the episode) but I agree with their opinion on those annoying motorcycles.
ngl, the Faith Hilling episode was actually surprisingly pretty good for its time.. like, it was clear to me back in 2012 that Matt & Trey fully understood meme culture and i appreciated that about it..
I enjoyed the hellen keller episode, mainly because the song gets stuck in my head every now and then. Also Cartman's change of heart was kind of cool.
Having grown up in the 90's and 00's, Me and my friends must have said "fag(got)" about 100 times a day, especially on Xbox Live. Not once ever have I used the word, or heard someone else use that word to insult a gay person for being gay. Even Louis CK who is well into his 50's by now said in his stand up that when he was a kid they never used that word to insult gay people. It was mostly used to describe someone who was annoying to be around. Honest question. Why does the LGBT embrace that word as the worst thing ever when it really hasn't been directed specifically at them in like 50 years?? That'd be like if all of a sudden special needs activists decided the word "idiot" should be banned because once upon a time it was used as a derogatory term for people with learning disabilities.
Given where queer rights, expression, identity, EXISTENCE are right now, EVERYWHERE, you can't blame people for being a LITTLE testy about slurs, even if they aren't that common historically. Also: Louis isn't necessarily the best voice to listen to. Better certainly than, say, Chapelle, or Maher, but he's not the best.
I live in a small town. People here _still_ use "f@ggot" and "queer" in an explicitly anti-gay manner. now, I'm not personally offended by those words, I grew up with COD lobbies and 4chan ffs, but to say that it hasn't been directed at gay people in 50 years is a bold-faced lie
people hate these types of words because it implies being gay is lame/bad. That's why the r-word (you know the one) is also starting to be used less, because it tells people that you think mentally disabled people are stupid and an insult to somebody. Idiot doesn't work, anybody can be a idiot, it's not an identity or an outdated clinical term to describe handicaped people.
@@straawberryfieldsforever I've heard that argument, but it holds little water because gay was completely taken out of the equation. Kinda like how the word gay used to mean happy but nobody thinks "oh you're gay, that means you're super happy all the time" Words develop different meanings as time goes on and I think south park's frustration was with people who take offense by conflating the definitions.
I have a hard time with the term "Retarded" or the R-word… but it's a lot of times because of its use towards me growing up! But it's not a bad word per se, retardo was music speak for growing slow musically… some slurs are slurs because of how they were used not necessarily the original meaning of the word! Call someone a name long enough, they'd get p.o.ed!
I got a South Park ad on this and apparently their next special is going to be about white actors being replaced with black women so there's like a 50/50 chance you might need to update this video in a few weeks

I don’t think the pajamas were supposed to be a stand-in for face masks. I think it was suppose to reference a real event where people were told to wear pajamas in solidarity for some event. I don’t remember what the real world event was, but in South Park the event was the kids getting their pajama day taken away. I remember people in real life shaming other for not wearing pajamas because that “obviously” means they’re hateful and don’t care about the event it was in solidarity of.

0:27 Eh… given the path _South Park_ has been going down lately, I highly doubt they care about menstrual disorders, but I’m sure plenty of women appreciate the sentiment on your part regardless.
9:30: I don't see anyone else saying this yet, so re: the Red Heifer. Numbers 19: 2-3: "This is the statute of the law that the LORD has commanded: Instruct the Israelites to bring you an unblemished red heifer that has no defect and has never been placed under a yoke. 3Give it to Eleazar the priest, and he will have it brought outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. " The next several verses (too long to go into here) specify that the heifer is to be made a burnt offering and its ashes be used for the water of purification. It's this last part that's important: the water of purification is needed to cleanse a priest to perform the temple ceremonies. Without this water there is no point in having a temple. Red might actually mean 'reddish brown': it's a bit of a translation issue. Wikipedia has a picture of a cow that's mostly the right color. But even given that, the requirement 'without blemish' is interpreted in the Talmud to require ALL its fur to be one color. This is extremely rare: even 2 hairs of a different color disqualify it. Since the modern establishment of Israel after WWII, selective breeding has been carried out to produce such a cow, thus far unsuccessfully. Of note: the 'ginger' cow wouldn't actually qualify as it has spots. This is thus the main significance to Judaism because without that red heifer, rebuilding the temple would be pointless. Some Jewish traditions that look for a coming Messiah and link that to the 'end of time' say said Messiah will rebuild the temple. Since a red heifer would be a logical prerequisite, some look to the appearance of such as a sign of this. For some forms of Christianity, this is similarly significant because a particular interpretation of 'end of the world' prophecies require the temple to be in existence since the prophecies are interpreted to state that it will be torn down. Hence the heifer is needed so that the temple will be rebuilt, so that it can be torn down, so that the End Times will come. Other forms of Christianity hold any attempt to force the issue like that blasphemous. Again, too long to get in to. I'm not as familiar with Islamic eschatology, so I'm not sure what the significance is there. It may be that some sources say Jesus will return at the end of time, and linking that to the Christian views mentioned above, this thus means the Jewish temple would also have to be rebuilt, again requiring a red heifer. Also, awkwaaaard.
Not going to lie I think "A Million Little Fibers" was the first episode of South Park I ever watched, I was so off put by the episode that I didn't watch it for years afterwards.

5:12 Um,.. Ok well I can help with this situation. I can't believe you put Faith Hilling on this list!!! It's in my top 3 favourite episodes for sure. Me and my dad would reference it daily. I feel like the fake trends make it even funnier. It keeps it somewhat timeless and relevant. If it referenced planking like originally planned, it would have been dated within five minutes. Although I don't mind when things get dated sometimes. It feels like a joke you're not in on. There was an episode based around KONY 2012 and I had no idea what it was referencing. Years later I randomly watched a documentary about that and the episode clicked. Another one is the ziplining episode. It was an extremely niche reference to the stupid shows that History channel would play at 3AM. I got it instantly and it's legit one of my fave episodes just for that reason even though it often appears on worst episode lists.
I think the point of the meme episode making up memes is because they wanted it to stay relevant because honestly when it came out we were all “oh it’s like planking” but now people don’t know what that is, so I think fake memes work perfectly

I wonder if they could’ve done what Kitty suggested and replace the kids on the team with Stan’s friends. Then they could’ve made Kenny the sick kid and when he dies at the end you realize he’ll back the next episode, so you don’t feel too bad.
😂 Loved it how they've celebrated their Victory over little Pre-School Kids that can't defend themselves
I'm stunned to hear someone doesn't like You Got Fucked In the Ass. It's probably my favorite episode after Asspen (They're both so ridiculous), and I can't believe that Cat Orgy, Lice Capades, and the shows from the back half of season 20 weren't even mentioned.
I know South Park is your bread and butter but let’s mix up that diet by adding some BURGERS: Bob’s BURGERS!
As a bob's burgers and south park fan.
I agree
I would love to see kitty cover Bob’s burgers
I love South Park and Bob's burgers so much Bob's burgers. I knew first and it's my comfort show. I love it so much and I love South Park so that would be amazing.
Yes please I love Bob's Burgers
YEEEEEEESSSSS
Sorry. Yes though.
If you lived next door to a clubhouse full of noisy, neo Nazi proud boy bikers for a dozen years, you'd appreciate The F Word episode for the masterpiece it truly is. Just sayin'....
Petition to add cat speaking noises whenever slurs are being thrown around.
I absolutely love the crab people. The crab people song over the makeover music gets me.
You came into my life, and my world never looked so bright
It's true, you bring out the best in me!
When you are around
(When you are around)
Oh things just keep getting better!
I actually really like the episode “The F Word” as in some ways I do agree what they’re saying about how a slur word can refer to someone for they’re behaviour.
Who else is excited for panderverse?
I am
@blackstar044 this is a topic that has been long overdue
i oddly kinda like the character designs for the new special even if i know that's entirely against the point lol. kenny looks cute
@@AoiUsagiOtoko Kenny is the best looking out of the group
@@blackstar044They did a similar episode where they talk on the boy band members themselves
I actually liked the episode based on "You Got Served." Just me.
Me too......but there is a reason Trey and Matt are many times over millionaires and KittyMonk(while her videos are okay) is just a random UA-camr.
The Des Moines joke in Larry is weirdly dated too because it's actually now one of the best places to live for starting families due to how cheap it is there. Plus the music scene that Slipknot help created there
Oh stop, I love the Oprah one. I was a teen when it aired and me and my best friend (who LOVED South Park, but passed away in 2008) LOVED this episode.
Same, mainly cause unlike many I actually like Towelie. Though over the years I've seen the episode so many times it just got a little boring. I don't hat it, but it's nothing too special anymore.
Oh and sorry for losing your friend so soon.
Agree! One of my favourite eposides
GREAT 👌 KITTY MONK SOUTHPARK TOP TEN WORST EPISODES.
Yeah, i really liked that one. Rest in peace to your best freind, its really hard losing someone close to you
sorry for ur loss
You got F'd in the A is one of my FAVOURITE south park episodes, so you can imagine the jaw drop when i saw it in the dishonourable mentions. Still loved the video though, and congrats on 90k!
Yeah I'm willing to defend Faith Hilling and I'd found it to be one of the Funniest episodes of South Park
ikr it was so stupid but thats what made it so funny
I definitely disagree with kitty that using fake memes made the episode less impactful, that's like saying the Brittney Spears episode was less impactful because she didn't really pee on a ladybug and blow her head off with a shotgun. Overexaggerating is part of the point, and memes are always changing and evolving anyways, so who's to say Faith-Hilling *couldn't* be a real meme? Making the episode about planking would've made it come across as cringy boomer whining, and totally date it.
faith hilling wasn’t a real meme??
Glad to see someone else defending it in the comments. Me and my dad would yell "OLONG JOHNSON!" to each other all the time.
10:50 So Kyle is basically the male Lisa Simpson.
as someone with autism, ADHD, and turrets, I can say for certain that I can see why people would confuse me for having asburgers, and if they confuse it, I can always correct them, it's when they are doing it to spite me I will have a problem, but if they don't know, then I can't get mad at them not being a mind reader
Because Aspebergers isn't recognized anymore and has been folded into general autism. And before that, Aspergers was a medically recognized Autism disorder.
The caveman episode was making fun of how far tech advanced from 96 to 99.
Even a good show has an off episode. Just like every person has an off day. It'll happen.
The "where is Russel crow and tugga when you need him". Had me actually lol
Season 20 as a whole has the worst episodes.
I'm not in the demographic to be saying this, but latinx is one of the dumbest ways to make something gender neutral. Also the trope of adding x to something to make it cool or gender neutral or something needs to stop, it's getting very noticable
Also, there literally already exists a gender-neutral term - it’s called *Latin.*
Si es como nuestro n*ggers
Stanley Cup is hilarious XD
I didn’t mind the crab people episode, but it’s also not one of the episodes I go out of my way to rewatch when I’m in a south park mood. I’m not a queer eye fan but I am queer and understand why a lot of other queer people wouldn’t like it, but I found it pretty funny and I’ll always love the crab people twist and the chant that came with it
Crab people is an episode I'm so glad happened so we have crab people in later cameos like the video game. But yeah, the episode (and most fom the first 2 seasons) would have worked better as a 12 minute episode paired with another one.
3:20 Slurs are like guns. You should be careful with them, they COULD hurt someone, but if you arent pointing the gun at a person, it doesnt do much damage
You got effed in the a is one of my favorite episodes.
Similar to my preference for Meg-positive Family Guy. I rather enjoy when Butters is gets to rule at something.
Writer to writer, that improvised story you came up with is golden, and that was just a random, thoughtless tangent! I hope you read this, and keep doing this! 🤩
I love south park is gay. Its so bad, but so good
I find it very funny I get that some people will be offended but its a funny episode that i personally love
that was one of the first episodes I watched, i wouldn't call it a great episode but its one of my personal favorites for sure
The f word one. I always think of the reference when loud vehicles go by (every damn day) but I can't say the thing lol
In Judaism a red cow isn't part of an endtimes prophecy or anything but according to the Torah it's required in order to purify people who have come in contact with a corpse. This impurity doesn't have a huge effect nowadays but when/if there's a Third Temple there will be a need to get rid of it.
I love towelie but most of his episodes revolving around him pretty much suck. Especially the Oprah one.
The ending of Stanley's cup is still the hardest I've ever laughed at South Park. It's my favorite example of dark comedy.
It's when you're in a sports movie, but it's not about your team
I'm a bit surprised that Insheeption didn't make the list. Straight up plagerized Collage Humor. That's the worst episode imo.
another one of my least favorite episode of South Park is Pip I'd found his backstory episode to be not that great
Had expectations, but not great
I mean Pip is usually agreed to be the most boring epissode
Ese episodio depende de si te gusta o odias a pip
15:18 It’s also telling that I’m currently working on a comic with one scene that takes place in 2020, and we see characters wearing masks specifically to show that it’s set in the past - i.e. a period piece.
NORMALISE PERIOD PIECES!!!
I personally do think that the f-slur biker episode was actually a little hypocritical. I'm glad you mentioned it! Thank you!
(context for anyone reading this, I'm pan lol)
edit: awkward
I love Stanley's Cup lmao
My wife (35F) has endometriosis, and I can attest second hand to how awful PMDD conditions can be. She's wait listed until something like 9-12mo out from now to get a hysterectomy and we hope that resolves her long standing issues.
I hope that you are able to find effective therapeutics for your condition so your everyday life can be made just generally easier. You are wanted and you are loved ❤️
I fkn love how randomly mean-spirited Stanly's Cup was compared to most of their eps that try and teach us something.
Yeah I've HATED for the Crab People and I'm allergic to shellfish so I can't eat Crab or lobster

45:47 Nice Transformer reference Kitty Monk, "Soundwave superior, Funny bot Inferior."
Admittedly I like the Funnybot episode tbh.
Ironically enough, the Funnybot itself is not the main issue with the episode (which is good since they are the best part of that episode).
Same here. I think funnybot was meant to be unfunny on purpose
@@FigureFarter Which ultimately loops around to being funny.
@@MontyMoleLoreMaster Exactly. "Awkwarrrd, awkwarrrrrd"
@@FigureFarter I like the part where Funnybot was sleeping with two ladies.
Nah, you really just nitpicked Ginger Cow.
I know right it's such a good episode i hate kyle amd he ate farts the entire time because he is so up his own ass its a classic cartman beats kyle episode
I watched it for the first time the other day and I think it was so classic Cartman I have to give it a 10/10. Yes for Kyle fans and sane people, seeing him painfully say how much he loves Cartman's farts is awful but that's what makes it so good
That episode literally a Kyman fanfic
A lot of the commentary in this video is nitpicking. The rest is explaining the joke, but still not getting it.
I think my biggest problem with Ginger Cow was it felt a bit underbaked. Trey and Matt in the dvd commentary even mentioned how realistically the show should of been a two-parter or even a movie. Not one of the worst SP episodes, but one of the more disappointing for me.
That Doctor Who part LOL rip you open and expose you to the sun! that was awesome!
Jimmy didn’t win all the awards, he accepts the awards on behalf of the winners.
I've been here since the disenchantment days and have never been so excited for a YTer to hit 100k... Very well deserved
When my mom was a teen she actually played Helen Keller in a production of The Miracle Worker.
ngl, the Faith Hilling episode was actually surprisingly pretty good for its time.. like, it was clear to me back in 2012 that Matt & Trey fully understood meme culture and i appreciated that about it..
I enjoyed the hellen keller episode, mainly because the song gets stuck in my head every now and then. Also Cartman's change of heart was kind of cool.
That Hellen Keller suggestion was so gay dude
genuinely what does this even mean
Kinda like how the word gay used to mean happy but nobody thinks "oh you're gay, that means you're super happy all the time"
Words develop different meanings as time goes on and I think south park's frustration was with people who take offense by conflating the definitions.
The Ginger Cow is hands down my least favorite episode. I've only watched it once and won't ever watch it again.
A mi me gusto
I have a hard time with the term "Retarded" or the R-word… but it's a lot of times because of its use towards me growing up! But it's not a bad word per se, retardo was music speak for growing slow musically… some slurs are slurs because of how they were used not necessarily the original meaning of the word! Call someone a name long enough, they'd get p.o.ed!
Tfw Stanley's Cup will be the closest I get to seeing the Detroit Red Wings in the playoffs this season.
(I hope this ages like sour milk)
I got a South Park ad on this and apparently their next special is going to be about white actors being replaced with black women so there's like a 50/50 chance you might need to update this video in a few weeks
Why? Care to explain why that would be bad to critique?
@@slashermaster28Yes, that's the joke. And if you saw any of the comments on the preview, you KNOW what kind of people this is attracting, and how easy it is to screw something like this up.
Ooh that American Dad quote in a South Park video! Fun!
Francine and her hot summer sidewalk.
I think a lot of your criticisms come from failing to understand the point of the jokes.
Cartman makes a ginger cow and brings about the apocalypse.
The f-slur is by far one of the best episodes sorry not sorry
Maggot I think rhymes better with y'know but I'm just being nit picky- great video miss monk:)
Think the worst episode I ever seen from South Park was the…um…diddling of Indiana Jones by George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg. Most of the episodes Kitty Monk had I can reasonably watch at least as background noise, but I just cringe with the Indy episode
Ok but the songs in the Miracle Worker musical go hard
44:20-I would love to see you do a Doctor Who episode to try something different. Maybe an April Fools where it's not a lol this isn't serious but a formula change (like how Masako does more out there what ifs)
At 33, growing up with these irreverent comedians making awesome episodes, I think it behooves us to remember that every ginger cow of a show has a flaw here and there. It can get Awkward otherwise.
Jakovasaurs is my #1, mostly because it's such a fantastically trash episode in a season of all-time hits.
3:09 what??? That's one of my favorite episodes!!! You must be one of them bikecurious chicks...
Am i the only one who hated the humancentipad episode? I never see it get mentioned on any list

Asperger's was originally part of the autism spectrum back when Autism was considered a disorder in which you're nonverbal and wheelchair bound as a baseline. Asperger's used to be considered as a type of "high functional autism" and was primarily associated with sexual disorders such as objectophilia _(which has now commonly become objectum-sexuality rather than an [X]philiac issue now)_ or other delussions such as ... The 'cartoon prawn' thing, I actually forget the name... Fantacide? Erotisis? lol I honestly don't know, I was lucky enough to retire just before all this.
Wait that whole mummy thing was just trey whining about his divorce? God no wonder i hated it
To me, the 2004 voting episode is my number one worst episode ever. I'm glad Stan's alive and well, and that he and Kyle are still best friends, but I wonder why Puff Daddy and his gang didn't go after Stan at the end despite returning home and voting.
Helen Keller is one of my favourite episodes. To each their own😢
