I know this sounds crazy, but as a drummer there are moments where I am playing certain songs where it feels like I’ve been lifted from my seat and I am watching from above. It doesn’t matter whether it’s classic rock or classic country, there are moments of pure magic that some musicians and no mortal will ever understand.I cannot watch any of your videos without weeping. I am stirred to the depths of my soul by that sound and your passion. Thank you so much.
This comment is so beautiful. I love when nice people say nice things on the internet ❤ these nice comments can really make the difference to someone & im glad you posted this!
You're not crazy. I'm not musical in the slightest, I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket! There are people than can elevate the soul to such heights, I totally understand that you mean. For me it's India Mountain Time by Joe Bonamassa.
Would you mind doing a series of videos showing how the organ works from your perspective? I mean like showing how the stops change the sound, how responsive the organ is (time from key pressed to sound made), and other stuff we might not know just from seeing someone play? I am fascinated by the instrument.
Wow Einaudi would have had me so star struck. What a privilege to play in front of him and what an honour to see him totally in awe at your playing too
I LOVE Ludovico Einaudi so much. I need music writing my stories, to pace and setting the mood. Einaudi is on top of my favorites. Nightbook is a story in itself, and I love to pace my stories after it. Divenire for the sweet moments... yeah. I absolutely envy you.
Some of us mere mortals are terribly jealous of your talent and hard earned capability. But it is all too true that even a mildly competent musician may occasionally find the satisfaction and joy of making music that speaks to others. What a privilege you have to do so in such a place and with such accomplishment. Keep it coming!
I love watching a master play her craft, especially so as she obviously loves what she's doing and is gorgeous to boot. Show more of the foot work and keyboard combos. Fascinating how you can coordinate it all at once.
Fabulous ... an interpreter has the right of his / her own understanding about the intentions of a composer, that's what it make creative art work. Doubling the speed of interstellar indeed creates a very strong emotion ... imagine a steel factory where iron is casted ... it feels like to look into hell seeing the liquid metal at 1-2000 degrees flowing into cast forms ... this heavy growling sound would fit perfectly for such scenario. Pls keep going to share your rehearsals and performances. Greetings by heart from NL
Without fail, I well up every time I hear someone play these interstellar songs on an organ. Just the power of the songwriting and the power of the organ superposition and stir my emotional pot like an electric whisk to a glass of water.
A few of worlds greatest right behind you. Not even looking @ the master piece of notes! Dreams come true for you. I have never heard it played at this speed and flawlessly. ❤❤❤
Absolutely amazing!!! I am so happy for you 👏🏽 I would've stop playing and asked if would want to give it go. Too cute when you said your tempo became quicker as soon as you realized #einaudi behind you 😊 You are an amazing artist. You deserve every bit of your success 🙏
My Grandad was an organ player at a theatre in Rotherham in the 60’s and 70’s. Used to love listening to him play at home, wish I could have seen him on a grand organ.
As a new pianist organist, I appreciate being able to go up close and personal… my son is gifted and at almost age 4 years old, he began taking organ lessons from San Diego Padres Baseball organist… he was 12 when he wowed a crowd with Pomp and Circumstance played on church pipe organ
I know NOTHING about playing any musical instrument.I also lack the adjectives to accurately describe the amazing feelings I encompass listening to this musical nectar.
Went to watch this last night. Absolutely amazing ❤❤❤ loved it so much. We were the first audience to watch her play this live. And a whopping 83% turn out as well. So packed. I will definitely be watching again at some point. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your beautiful talented playing last night ❤ PS einaudi is my absolute all time favourite pianist. There is not one day I don’t listen to his music. His even my ringtone 😂😂😂
Wow !!! Absolutely amazing !! To see him behind you, was the topping on the cake.. !! You both are amazing beyond belief.. Sorry, but he's better.. lol :)
Your excitement is so palpable it's like a physical thing leaping off the screen....and how could you not be.... when Ludovico Einaudi is gushing over your craft!
This is why I love UA-cam. I stumbled across another video of someone else playing Piano and then the next autogenerated video was one of Anna’s playing an Einaudi song (but I had no idea who Einaudi was) the song was so beautiful I had to do a quick 20 minute deep dive into who Einaudi was (and even got sidetracked learning who Chopin was 😂) and was surprised to learn he was still alive- I thought he was a classical pianist from the 1800s lol Short story long, after I learned all this in about 30 minutes I stumble on this video and get incredibly excited for this amazing moment. Never would I have realized how awesome this moment was, but after a quick rabbit hole on UA-cam, I can’t stop watching
Oh. Wow. That moment when you're playing something and *the composer* likes what you're doing with it.... don't forget to give yourself credit for a bit of magic as well. The organ and hall are magic but it takes a right proper wizard to wield it... you don't get the musical fireworks without *both elements*.
Bravo, maestrina Lapwood! It was truly fascinating to see you, a serious and top-notch musician, suddendly turn into a lively and inspired "street performer" to entertain the small and unexpected audience with a superb presentation. Really, It was wonderful to watch. Thanks for shares this precious experience!
What’s the curved key on the far left for? It has on/off and something about “swell” written on it. Is it a special swell-to-great or swell-to-pedal, or other coupler of some kind?
The organ has got to be my second most favorite instrument of all time. It has an intensity to it that hits you right in the soul in a way I haven’t experience anywhere else. I can rarely listen for long without crying. … but my number one favorite is the banjo 😅🤪 Because it has a rolling joy to it that is simply unmatched. Whatever denotation you might have, and whatever you might think about it - there’s no instrument out there that makes it harder to remain sad or angry when you listen to it. One time, I was walking down a shopping street and a music shop started playing banjo music over the speakers… and I tell you, the entire street of people began smiling and laughing as they went. It was beautiful to see. So dismiss it as a lowly instrument if you want, but you can’t tell me the banjo doesn’t possess an almost magical ability to lighten the mood. Music, man… Music.
I can describe how it feels, because I also play church organ ... when I am done playing I am sweaty and have a runners high. It is physical and mental elevating, the best work out there is.
I've played at the Albert Hall in my teens, and before I got brain damage and got a fear of heights, which I never had before. I climbed all the way above the 'mushrooms' and sat with my legs under the hand rail with two friends.
Love your organ playing since I heard you playing with bonobo. Loved that and you looked like you were enjoying it. Have you any you anything in the pipeline with any other musicians.
Reminds me of last year when I visited my nephew. He plays the organ/piano from ear. Doesn't read music. He played this for me on an organ at a small local chapel, and it blew me away.
You know you doing good when Einaudi is a fan
Who is that? I'm embarrassed I don't know

You are a wonderful musician and lovely person. Thanks for sharing these videos with us.
Your music is heavenly 🙏❤️
I Absolutely love your smile while your playing
This looks absurdly fun with the music coming from all around you. Like conducting an entire room with your fingertips.
I follow you for your skill and for your sympathy and in front of so much sacredness of certain pieces of music you can also be pleasantly funny
👏👏👏😌
The guy on the left had his jaw dropping moment.
My all-time wish is for Anna and Hans Zimmer to perform together🙏🥰
She is glorious
You are amazing
Bravo!
Increïble
Wow Ludovico 😍 Bravo. I'm surprised you were able to still carry on with the man watching himself. Hahahaha.
Her entire body, mind, soul and heart are in this while playing. You are truly captivating.
Einaudi... I would faint while giggling. He created such masterpieces
And she imitates an orgasm when she is playing for an audience. She becomes the music.
is this a Hans Zimmer piece though?

Not crazy at all!
Yeah, it's a well-documented phenomenon, fairly well-understood by neurologists at this point. Fascinating how it works in that "FLOW" state. 🔥 👍

Einaudi “White Clouds” is a beautiful piece.

A pox on your iPad!
Besides, your espresso -infused version is far more exhilarating.
