... I would've considered a different thumbnail for this video. When I clicked on this video I thought I was going to be watching a video about some sort of new camera. I started watching and realized it's not what I clicked for. But then it's you Jay Clouse and I love your content, so I watch regards.
Same. The thumbnail really doesn't say 'Dodford' at all. I ignored probably the first 4 times it was recommended and only clicked because I happened to spot Dodford's name. I thought it was just some random youtuber. Thumbnail and title defo need work esp with someone as broad reaching as Dodford. Many don't even know what he looks like.
Love dodford, he’s really created something unique in the documentary / UA-cam space. Looking forward to listening to this one, loved his interview on the editing podcast!

Nice video! You really learn when you actually do it. However, just uploading and creating alone won't work. You also have to analyze which area needs improvement and which work great in your niche.
Liked this guy at the start but feel as he has been growing he's become more pretentious; at least from his twitter presence. Hopefully he keeps himself grounded and humility prevails. My two cents,

With or without analytics ? I wonder if all the How To channels will need content and begin telling everyone to skip analytics. My vote would be without.

Could have done Dodford's face on the thumbnail with the 'collage effect' or similar Dodford style to really make it clear to viewer who he is.
