Meeting "Dirt", from "Beyond The Law", with Charlie Sheen and Michael Madsen.

101.5 KGB FM had it's 50th Anniversary as a rock radio station in San Diego, Ca. We threw a party with all kinds of music, food, fun and classic cars and bikes. One of the classic bikes that showed up was a 1972 Harley Davidson owned by Ed Adams AKA "Dirt", from the movie Beyond The Law which starred Charlie Sheen and Michael Madsen. As I've talked with Ed a few times now I learned a couple of things. He's a talented actor, a heck of nice guy and he's been in a bunch of movies and t.v. shows! It was super cool to have him on Motorcycle Monkey Channel and I'm sure we'll be riding together in the future.

Wow! My ex n I were very unimportant extras in this movie!...let me emphasize EXTRAS! Just rode along with the pack diff times throughout the rather long day standing around rest of time..much of it spent with a good friend of Charlie Sheen..he bummed a lot of cigs from me & later thru a carton at me! ..still very cool to see "Dirt" today...What a trip! Great memory. Loved to always ride, so was bitchin to be a part of..great ride to n from home base too. 😎😎

I love this movie as well. It is such an underrated film. It is to biker gangs what Goodfellas is to The Mafia. The best true crime film when it comes to biker gangs hands down. Dirt was actually one of my favorite characters and I'm not even just saying that.To me his character was the most dangerous because he ran everything.
Wasn't the guy Charlie Sheen played based on Dan Black?

I FREAKING LOVE THE MOVIE BEYOND THE LAW!!! I first saw it my freshman year in high school back in 94’ and still watch it to this day!!! Imo it’s Charlie Sheens best performance!!! Also found out that Charlie’s birth name is Carlos. And also found out just this morning after watching it last night that the character “ Highside “, the guy who marries Bubbles 🫧 lol is supposedly played by Robin Williams!!! Crazy right! That’s freaking AUWSOME!!! I definitely remember Dirts character! “ If you want a F*cking rocket launcher “ we got it!!! lol five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ movie 🍿!!! IMO AUWSOME you got to meet Dirt!!!

VERY cool. "You want a goddamn rocket launcher?" BTL is the best outlaw biker movie of all time and really isn't close, there were a lot in the 60's-70's that were just comically bad.
It has everything, even some humor and it's very well directed and filmed. Can't recommend it highly enough.
