In 2009, the Whiffenpoofs of Yale celebrated their centennial, and they did so in style. Hundreds of alumni came together to salute the unparalleled legacy of camaraderie, tradition, and musical excellence embodied by the Whiffs.

"The Whiffenpoof Song," the group's cherished signature, is recognized around the world from covers by Rudy Valee, Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, Count Basie, Perry Como, Ray Conniff, Mitch Miller, the Ames Brothers, the Statler Brothers, and countless others.
