I did it from Wasdale last year but did consider this route but thought it was going to be too long for me, despite the extra long drive over there for me. Shame you did not get the super clear summit we got last summer but good that you have only got another 3 to go, I have 94 to go lol. We climbed Great Gable after dropping down Kirk Fell and the summit of Great Gable kept getting higher and higher and a real rocky scramble it was getting up but well worth it. Hated the 3.25 hour drive back home afterwards mind. Cheers Alan
Was the drive what put me off Alan ....and I was going to do great gable but forgetting my back pack ( Muppet iam) I had little supplies ie water and some food so decided just to do kirkfell ...yeah disappointed the clouds didn't lift ....cheers Alan ....Andrew⛰️👍
