Years back, Ladybaby did a NYC and LA tour. This video was put together while on that tour. Greencard issues caused Ladybeard to drop and the girls continued on alone. As said in another comment, Rei left to play with her sister's group Brats (now on hiatus). Rie eventually reformed the group with three new members and produced arguably the best album of the group name, before being forced to shut down. One of those members, Arima Emily, went on to join Passcode, replacing screamer Yuna Imada. Today, Ladybeard has reformed with two new young ladies under Babybeard. Rei and Rie are back together under the group name ReiRie.
You're the first person I've seen who could laugh at the lyrics as much as the video, nice. The girl in the yellow dress, Rei Kuromiya, also has a rock band called BRATS with her sister, which the two founded when they were 10 and 12. The song "BRATS 十四歳病 14-year-old disease", where Rei is about the same age as here, I had just mentioned in a reply comment on NEET Game. The video is well worth it, and not just because of the chainsaw. The latest song from BRATS, Rei and Aya are grown up, was a year ago and is called Spiderweb, wonderfully crazy song and video.
Near the beginning you mentioned inflation and I know this is top of mind right now, but their are lots of workers in general already underpaid. A quote from before the pandemic/recent inflation spike: "a full time minimum wage worker can not afford a 2 bedroom apartment anywhere in the US and can't afford a 1 bedroom apartment in over 95% of US counties." Unless of course count rising housing prices, but I don't think this was just regular inflation. Their was a lot of greed, to much demand, etc. etc. as well. Anyway... on-topic: When Ladybaby got started they were probably 16 and when the video was made probably 18. And 25 now.

It was bad in 18, too, and it's only gotten exponentially worse
