    Love watching your videos. You inspired my wife and I to be more adventurous. We are heading out on a 10 day boating trip starting tomorrow. First stop dry Tortugas, then Islamorada from there. Finally crossing over to Bimini mid week next week.

    I live in the Keys too and I would like to make the crossing.
    Trying to get more info on when you guys normally cross.
    I am a bit apprehensive to do it alone the first time around.

      We are able to cruise quicker in the bay going north and once out of stiltvill it’s a straight shot over with the waves hitting on our sides and not straight on the bow. Smoother ride

      Well the whole trip I think I wasted about 100 gallons so I would say just getting to Bimini anywhere from 35-45 gallons

    I noticed you had some water sloshing around in your live well. were you using your live well or does water just flow in there and if so how do you prevent that from happening?

      It flows from the fwd motion of the boat over the water. I can stop that my closing the main hose but it does not bother me because as soon as I stop it drains out!

      Born before 1988 you do not need a license if after 1988 a boating course is required

      Everytime you are entering a new country by boat you have to display the Yellow flag. Once checked in you fly the local flag which means your vessel is checked in and allowed to move freely
