Thanks very much, Ben. At last, we've found a professional who doesn't belt through but plays with great sensibility!
i like how the organ goes from a loud and cocky attitude to a calm and chill one
Thank you Ben. A great old hymn indeed, with a long history and development.
I like how you begin with strong upbeat verse-chorus, then slow the tempo,
and soften the various registration "colors", then end with a "big bang".
I enjoy playing that way also. Cheers, - Matt
Thank you my good sir for being not only a patriot but a good man to our beloved nation. God bless you and God bless America.
God bless Britain.
I love how many different beautiful tones can come out of this instrument.
Standing in the cemetery at Gettysburg and overlooking the battlefields this song get you in the feels.
Beautiful, subtle, and majestic!
I've been looking for a good organ recording of this song, this is by far the best one I've found! Superb job.
Wonderful ! Thank you very much !
Now THIS is an absolute banger
Neat! Some very sweet stops on that organ.
A beautiful piece of music and rendition; I only wish he would hold the ending for a few more bars. holding those last notes longer dang near seizes my heart, and I LOVE it!!
Well played Ben! Through all the moods in verse, it brings delicious chills up my spine
I don’t like to hear orgue a lot but this was beautiful !
Beautifully varied rendition - much appreciated
Always one of my favorites to play with all the stops
Very uplifting!
Wonderful rendition, so much colour.
Wow wow that was wonderful❤❤
This is awesome!!! I love it!!!
Hallelujah!

Absolutely brilliant music .
Phenomenal!!!
BRAVO!!!
Brilliant Ben!
very beautiful🎉❤
Beautiful
Yay! Very stirring
Nice job
Ben: phenomenal! Now get the Union Forever by George F Root. It’s a famous US Civil War song.
Hmm it seams the feet are connected to the keys
I always thought the feet work independend of the hand in pipe organ
I wish to buy the CD but Australia isn't listed, I mean the best country in the world Not listed!!
@rossilett4284 Australia is listed in Royal Mail International Standard and is available! Let me know if you have any problems purchasing 😀

Please my I ask: how are the three additional (2002) pedal stops operated? I couldn’t see any stops for these in the NPOR photos.
There are three pedal levers to the left of bottom C - watch me hit the latch for the trombone just before the final chorus 😀
@@SalisburyOrganist I guess that's a good way of preventing the later additions from "spoiling" the original instrument visually. The drawback is that it must be possible to forget you've got one of them latched on if you don't look down!
Can someone explain the left arm flourish? I don't see a purpose and wonder if it the organist's affectation.
