Great job my friend. I already subscribed.
    .
I bought a Chinese dune buggy, super cute, but it began falling apart right away.
    .
In a span of 6 months I had to call the tow truck 5 or 6 times. The electrical components were of the lowest quality. I had to change many parts. I had already spent about 10% of what I paid for it brand new. The warranty was very limited.
    .
BUT, I love it. Where I live is street legal, and finding a parking space is a breeze.

I had one of these buggys for my goddaughter (served with her father in Iraq in 09) we took her in shortly after, had a blown motor and saved for months to be able to afford a used 600cc motor to swap in it, whilst it was in the yard on the trailer, criminals broke the lock and hauled both of them away, she was devastated but I'm not sure who was more upset, her or me. Someday we hope to get another buggy and swap the motor so we can ride together.

I highly recomend that if you could to get a older polaris Trail Boss trans because it will have High, Low, Neutral, Reverse and you can hook up a speedometer to it, You wouldn't have to worry a bought the 670 blowing up those trans because they can actually take a lot of power.
and also with the polaris trans, you could hook the secondary clutch from the cvt kit for the 670 right up to the trans and they are not even that big either

Yeah. Just know the 80cc is the marketing term, 66cc is actual displacement. You want to make sure it has Japanese bearings, and preferably a long rod. eBay description should mention this. There are all kinds of variants like the 49cc with a shorter stroke. But when it comes down to power 2 stroke tuner knows it all. I'm going to be building up my scooter soon, it's such a cool and unique engine

From the space, it looks like it should have been able to take an I4. One out of a wrecked motorbike. Wicked amounts of power.

I have one of the same Chinese dune buggy looking things and I’m gonna do an engine swap like this too but I don’t think I have the skill to hold a grinder by the back of it

Why you have so much trouble grinding and cutting all the frame out? While you just can unbolt the suspension and trailing arm 4bolt in total, the whole rear end will just slide out...

  • @bubbaburt6650
    @bubbaburt6650 3 роки тому

That whole section where the engine is literally comes off with about four bolts and disconnecting some cables and the whole engine and rear axle will separate from the go-kart

Yo brother man I don't know where you get these ideas from but they're badass excuse my language but I have a buggy called the Hummer cart that like to do the 670 on or 500 ninja I'm having a problem on the siding I have a four-wheeler which is a 150 I'm putting a 212 stage 1 on I want to know what your opinion is should I go with a two 12 or should I go with a 420 I have both engines but for the cart what do you think I should put on it the 500cc from the ninja motorcycle or the 670 from Harbor Freight man your opinion really counts let me know something in the comments and keep on the awesome deals dude you're number one in my book you got to do a collaboration with rather be welding

Weld up that whole rear section solid and Putin a IRS rear end. Better shocks. And have a lot more fun with it.

I guess Im too much of a neat freak when it comes to working on my cars and other things.. Making sure I keep all my bolts in propert spots.. ect.. So watching him sling parts everywhere is giving me anxiety LMFAO. :D

Nice idea for a swap, thought gy6 had integrated gearbox with reverse? (mine did)
Although sure your already thought about all that and have some good gearing in mind. Keep the content coming :)
Ohh to see this against my now friends 1000cc fzr version of this buggy, will admit yours looks in nicer condition and not rusted out haha

This build does NOT have reverse.
