Fuck yeah, this is literally the only thing that made D2R more convenient, now that this is going to be implemented I think I'll stick to PD2 for good.
Any build that has multiple buttons that they have to hit often. I noticed for warcry barb, I'd start with battle cry to shred their PDR, then howl and start spamming war cry. Also, it makes find item really easy to do, just hold the hotkey and it kind of glides while casting it on any dead bodies in the way. Summon zon would probably be pretty nice as well. Mostly strafing but constantly throwing out decoys is definitely smoother. Things with long cooldowns like combustion or holy nova will definitely be smoother too. Just press the button, it happens and back to your filler skill.
Absolutely not. It means I didn't explain it clearly enough. In diablo 2, you have to left click or right mouse to cast a spell. Often skills are assigned to hotkeys such as F1-F8 or other hotkeys. These hotkeys only assign the skills to left or right click. Lets say you are playing a fire sorc and want to cast fireball and then meteor. Normally, you would do the following: 1.) Hit the button to put fireball on your right click 2.) Right click 3.) Hit the button to put meteor on your right click 4.) Right click If you used quick cast, This is how it would play 1.) Hit the button that fireball is assigned. It now automatically casts wherever your mouse is pointed without having to click the mouse button. 2.) Hit the button that meteor is assigned. It now casts wherever your mouse is pointed without having to click the mouse. So what quick cast effectively does is 1.) Changes your right click to the hotkey skill 2.) Emulates a mouse click where your mouse is to cast the skill without you having to do so 3.) Changes your right click back to the skill you had previously before you clicked the cast button. As you can see in the video, I had throw on my right click, and if you watch it constantly goes from curses back to that red throw icon. Hope that clears things up.
Is one of the best improves on QoL this season imo, so excited to use it :D
Ty for the info man!

Huge improvement
It's a huge improvement imo. Just curious, what other builds do you think this affects similarly to DP?

Feel free to call me dumb but I didn't get how quick cast worked.

You can rebind keys to whatever. Those are just my hotkeys that I assign to my skills. Usually these keys are f1 through f8.
