You make things so clear that every time I ask myself why I didn't get them before. Thanks a lot for your work. You really help guys who struggles with whys and hows.
Once a person pulls up a drawing board while explaining something... just know he really wants you to get it and I'm so glad he did this. Practical explanations 👍
Dude, did you go to art school? Your drawings are amazing ! 😆 Seriously though, the info you give in these videos are so useful, thanks for sharing! Can’t wait for part 2.
Thank you so much for the explanation. Now my question is: What if I was to lean forward on a seated hamstring curl? Would that give me any benefit over just keeping my torso upright? Thank you!
I have a question: why does my pelvis tilt towards the floor (moving my butt up) at the end of a heavy lying leg curl rep? As far as I understood, if the hamstring is being contracted, the pelvis should try to go towards the ceiling, but it's moving the other way around. My guess is that it is easier to maintain force on a heavy load if you "relax" one joint (the hip) while you contract the other one (the knee), which means keeping the length of the hamstrings constant while moving up the weights.
Why is it that it's harder, well for me, with toes pointed while doing lying legs curls as opposed to feet in a neutral position? Which is better? Both work different areas? Inquiring minds want to know.
My default is leave them “in the middle” and tense the ankles/feet, but not too much. And don’t really think about it. If you feel your calves more than you like, try pointing your toes a bit.
Seated leg curl and RDL’s will give you maximal hamstring length but unable to get hamstring fully short. Lying leg curl will allow for fully short/contracted hamstring due to hip extension / knee flexion. Both are good exercises but I prefer seated leg curl as I can keep my pelvis more stable
Holy cow that's horrible explanation... adding more confusion with all your blah blah blah... this guy has absolutely no common sense... bodybuilding you have isolation exercises and compound exercises... nowadays you have a variety of exercise machines.
Please do this for all muscles too

I don't know about others, but the nerdy type videos with the drawings are the best
God bless you and your channel. Caught you on John Meadows Lat Activation. These instructions are so helpful. Getting new eyes on the body
Brilliant content 👊🏽👍🏽
If you hold yourself up, you can do both legs at once on a standing leg curl.
😂 sounds fun

I should
I would love you talk about how to make a workout. Types of sets, how many reps, exercise selection, etc. I'm struggling with that.

i heard Joe's been working with Disney Pixars in many of their movies
Facts.
Great stuff as always! Thanks 🙏
Great explanation, thanks Joe 💯
Great video. Does it mean, Seated leg curl is enough and don't need RDL as both are doing the same?
Why do bodybuilders wear huge T-shirts or stringers only? Isn't there a middle ground for shirt sizes?
Thank you so much for the explanation. Now my question is: What if I was to lean forward on a seated hamstring curl? Would that give me any benefit over just keeping my torso upright? Thank you!
Thank for another awesome video

Any leg curl machine where the moment arm is placed to the side rather than between knees should be melted down and sold as scrap
Algo check
If you have this for glutes I’ll def be watching that next 😂🎉
crazy infos
Ur big fan sir... 🙏
Push the algorism
So some form of seated hamstring curl would be optimal.
I think programming the seated and lying leg curl would be optimal. At some point. Doesn’t need to be the same workout.
Thanks coach 👍

What about the tricep femoris
I think it would be more fun that if you were drawing Dave Bautista. Wouldn’t take much, just say that you are ;)

@@jamesdavison1284 oh thank you so much coach!!
Seated, and lying leg curls and RDLs are all “best” and can/should all be programmed at some point.
Let’s go Brandon!!
