The biggest thing that I love about this series is how there's such smooth transitions in tone. A situation can be action packed and relatively tense, and then it'll just switch to a short but significant, emotionally heavy character moment, and then right into heartfelt lightheartedness. Dandadan is that series that once it starts getting traction, its popularity is gonna fucking explode. This series will take over immediately! Yukinobu Tatsu is cooking!
Moe Moe Tri-Beam and Evil Gun are such cool callbacks to Dragon Ball, you can tell Tatsu REALLY loved Toriyama's work 🥲
Man, slit-mouthed woman's appearance during the battle against space globalists was PEAK. Ultimate despair immediately turning 180° with the wildest plot-twist I've seen in my life.

this manga honestly is life changing
Vamola's name can actually be translated in EITHER way (Vamola or Bamora), as va & ba are interchangeable sounds in the japanese language. However, Vamola is VERY DIRECTLY a reference to an Ultraman monster called "Bamora", hence the reasoning behind her having a whole Kaiju suit!
There's a Nihei reference in this arc too. The small alien with the sniper is using a GBE. Chapter 96 has good panels. Look up 'gravitational beam emitter' and you can see it
This arc was so amazing with the flashbacks, Gurren Lagann fight, and double spreads during the invasion.🔥 excited for the anime adaptation and hopefully seeing your guys react to it 🙏🏽 P.S. love the new thumbnail

I’ve really enjoyed watching these Dandadan videos as I’ve been going through the series. I started last December and I’m about to catch up to the current arc.
More Dandadan content...LFG!!! This arc was an absolute treat to read. Tatsu went nuts during this one...I mean one nut 😂 I was yelling and crying in my car before work on several occasions 😅

yeah im the same the space globalist arcs was really good however i still like the curse house arc slightly more,i just felt it was plot twist after plot twist, with a nice flashback, cool fights, etc. But its thrilling to know that after such arc, tatsu was able to give us another great one. Im just wondering what meal is he cooking now

Saint Germain was a real life philosopher who claimed he was 500 years old and that he achieved immortality. COULD THIS BE WHAT THEY MEANT BY HYPER GEEZER??? IS HE ACTUALLY HIM??? 😭😭😭 IS HE GONNA BE LIKE THE FINAL VILLAIN OR SOMETHING I HAVE NO IDEA, I KNOW AS MUCH AS YOU GUYS DO
this arc was so cool! i love how instead of kamehameha jiji gets galick gun and ofc momos tri beam are both fantastic dbz homages. the giving power to words + spiral theme as well just cool. aira in particular was a big highlight for me, her stepping up as the shot caller of the group was solid development for her character. saint germains introduction at the end of the arc was also very interesting, could he be the big bad? 🤔
something i kind of wish was brought up by kev was that a couple people actually dropped this series due to vamola and kentas introduction. vamola for appearing to be add unnecessary conflict in the main duos relationship during the last arc and kenta for his overall obnoxious attitude. having spent more time with the both of them i do enjoy them more from when they were 1st introduced and still rock with the series heavy.

Love this series and wish more manga/anime youtubers reviewed it; I think we're being set up for a final war between humans, aliens, and ghosts. Each side will probably have allies. So far though the series seems to be more empathetic to ghosts, I wonder when we'll truly get an evil ghost. I wonder when we'll start seeing some casualties though

In my humble opinion the worst character in dandadan is Momo's former boyfriend. He was a true dumbass .
My favorite part of DanDaDan has always been seeing what myths, legends, cryptids, etc. will be in the story next.
So for me, the Have You Seen This Man In Your Dreams aliens was the most surprising and exciting part of the arc because I didn't know Internet urban legends would appear and now at this point, anything can appear in this manga. We could see the backrooms or SCPs, slender man. Anything. Which is exciting and and those man in your dreams aliens opened the door for all this stuff that thought would never show up.
You guys should do more content for other series you mostly one piece and barely anything else when ate you going to start a new DONE_ for a another series
