    You are so young! 40 was such a good year for me. Enjoy it!! I switched from permanent dyes to demi permanent (deposit only) because it does a gradual fade and looks much more natural. Some day I will ditch the dye completely. 😂 That black shadow will last a lifetime. I love the you can use that one shade as a highlighter. Truffled is from the TF SS Choc Bar palette, mine is still intact and it is in the top row. Great update!

    I’ve never clicked on a video so fast as when I see one of your pan that palette updates 😊 trying to pan a Natasha palette myself, I predict it will take about 2-3 yrs lol. But slow and steady right?

      ND is an effort for sure. I’ve worked on the garmon shade all 2023 and that’s AFTER hitting pan back when I used it before Nabla. Her mini palettes seem to pan more consistently but I understand after several shades from metropolis and now triochrome im in for the long haul♥️

    I’m 42 , and I don’t like to see my gray hair ! I wish I can dye my hair blond ( I have dark brown like you ) I just can’t give up still 😂do you know there are some mascara for hair ? Try if you like ! Happy birthday ! 40 is new 30 ! I think so ! 😂 you are so funny to watch I subscribe!

      I might be willing to try the mascara on those patches-I hated the root spray🤣😂🤣. It was a disaster for me. I love the sparkles on top-it’s the patches that drive me bananas bc they are a personality of their own!

    I am 44 and I ditched the dye at 38. It was really freeing for me. I come from a long line of gray hair and I was hiding from it. Now that I've embraced it, I actually really love it and wish I were even more gray. Is that weird?? I thought I was more gray than I really was. My gray is mostly in the front and the back is still mostly dark brown. 🤷‍♂️ Gray is going to look FABULOUS on you. ❤❤❤

      Thank you, Tina! I am so back and forth with mine bc I am not sure how it’s going to look-the women in my family spent lots of years dyeing theirs and the men the greying was a quick process. My mom said she started her grey in her late 30s but she hated how mouses it looked so she’s highlighted ever since. I can see the potential for salt and pepper for me but the straight white I was not anticipating. I love my hair in wash day when I style it and have makeup but I definitely am in the in between feeling like ugh just dye it and yeah-I wish there were more for consistency🤣 it’s not weird at all to wish there was more.

    I’m 43 and I the greys are coming in hot and heavy! My oldest (17) recently looked at me and said… “is that grey?” I looked at him and said back, “obviously you don’t look at me very often” 😂 I love your glasses ❤

      This is why I use demi permanent colors, it fades gradually and looks more natural.

    I’m 44 and the grey is really coming in strong in areas. I’ve got away without really having to think about it for a long time as I’m a natural blonde but now the mousey roots are looking really dingy. I wouldn’t really mind except my natural texture is very fine and straight and these greys are much more coarse and wiry and stick up around my parting like some kind of mad scientist. My face just looks tired and grumpy all the time. The laugh lines I’m fine with but I’m also contending with crepiness, discolouration and peri menopausal acne. Makeup is no longer something playful and joyful to me as I feel it’s now about papering over the cracks and looking less dead. I miss my strong eyes, bright colours and glitters but now I look like Bette Davis in whatever happened to baby Jane. It’s hard.

    • @beudmama
      @beudmama  Рік тому +1

      I relate to a lot of this too- when my gray at the temples started coming in white I hated it even more bc it is wiry and coarse. I’ve learned to take it a little in stride by switching shampoo once a month to a purple to brighten the white hairs and then once a week with my normal shampoo. Then as I style I use a boar bristle brush to over correct those areas as I blow dry to smooth them out. I am noticing that helps with the dinginess and the Brillo pad look. Since you are blonde, I’d definitely try a purple shampoo! There’s a lot available since people went without the salon for so long♥️. I too feel my face looks tired and grumpy in its natural state. I see volume loss around my jowls and my eyes look less hooded than they used too from aging, but crepiness is really more noticeable. Do you enjoy matte shadows? I’m finding that I understand more and more why they are so helpful bc that’s how we can rock gorgeous colors as we age without the glitter and as shimmers get more challenging on the eyes♥️ I agree that all this is a challenge-the acne too. If my skincare routine has too many steps I break out so simple is best-I only wash my face at night unless I just cleansing balm and then I wash in the morning and use a moisturizer that brightens my face. I have a few I like at different price points. Makeup can still be fun-now is an opportunity to think outside your comfort zone. The adjusting is a challenge but definitely worth it♥️

    If my memory is correct, you have been pairing the gray in you Nabla palette with the peachy-coral shades from you Juvia’s Place palette, right? I wonder how that gray would look paired with you ND purples from you zpalette? I loved your update as always!!

      Yes♥️. Going to stick with the current purple vibe I’m wearing till the end of August then we are back to gray to hopefully polish it and a few LORAC shades from the z palette!
