- Are you as pumped as I am for this update? Can you believe we are at the end of another Pan that Palette year for 2023- time goes by too fast but I am thankful for the lessons learned and the fun to be had from using what we have. Whoa, look how close you are on the Nabla palette!! Your magnetic palette is looking more empty with each update. Love seeing new empty pans is the MAC palette.
Amber, whatever you want to pan, I will watch! If you are motivated to keep going with the Juvia's Place, then you keep at it! Literally, you are just a joy to watch so whatever you upload I don't miss!
I appreciate you, Leah!!!! I just saw from watching the Pantone color choice it’s going to be peach and that Juvia’s place palette is going to be lovely for it!!!!!!!!!! Come on and join me with some peach shades from your collection!!!!
I second this. With your style of panning, I feel like you will be most motivated to finish the Juvia's Place palette. I would skip the grays because they are giving you so much trouble. Just call them expired. However, I'm all for people working on their most expensive palettes first. So in my heart, I want you to work on the Triochrome.
I am not the one to comment a lot but I have watched your panning journey since 2013. I will watch whatever you decide to do. As they previously said you are such a joy to watch and so authentic that I patiently wait every video.
Seeing you pan the Juvia’s Place pallet would be fun to watch! The looks you created with them are all stunning.
Hi Amber! It has been great to see you three times in the past few days! You have made fantastic progress in 2023! I loved your armadillo eyes tutorial because the look is lovely and has encouraged me to look at grey eyeshadow as more versatile than I had thought. I look forward to your content to help with motivation along my panning journey, so I will watch updates (and all your content) whatever you decide. You were my inspiration to start panning. I started small a few years ago and have yet to fully pan a palette. The closest has been this past year (2023). I selected the DTLA palette from LORAC and was able hit pan in everything - each eyeshadow, the highlighter, and blush, but it is nowhere near finished (surprising because LORAC powders are very soft). I only used it four days each week for work and it is great for the conservative office environment. I don’t know if I should continue to use it and move it out or select something different. I am a bit tired of it, but the look is easy, polished, and makes it quick to get ready for work. I let myself use other items on non-work days to rotate through other palettes and experiment with shades other than brown/taupe. Love your enthusiasm and appreciate the time you take to film for us!
I'll put in a word for the ND, but you know I'm happy to watch you pan anything. I'm only doing seasonal pans that serve to rotate through my stash right now.
That sounds like fun too! That ended up being how I rotated my looks I noticed this go-around bc every few months I’d change gears-next year I’m thinking that the purples from ND combined with the peachy tones from JP and what I chose in my z palette were the best choices I could’ve picked bc now here we are back in the cycle of them being trendy! It’s going to be a fun year in panning for sure!!!!

I appreciate you- thank you for sticking with me all through the years, the updates and the palettes. Lots of lessons learned and funny enough- I haven’t worn UD shadows since I finished the Naked and the Books of Shadow shades I worked on back then! 🤣

Guess what?!?!? The Pantone color for 2024 is going to be a peach shade and that is IDEAL with those shadows!!!!!!!!!! I’m excited for what I’m going to be able to come up with and pan!!!! This hopefully will mean a big year of moving out shadow!!!!

It is! I’ve come a long way from strictly working out of one palette anymore especially when the core palette doesn’t have everything I need- it certainly helps to keep me more aware of what’s going on with my makeup and a little less bored bc I’m reminded if I’m pulling out 4 Palettes to get ready- there’s less likely a chance I’m going to find something new that will add to my collection until I finish more and more and need a replacement.. it’s holding me accountable for sure.
I'm so impressed with your progress as always. I am panning that Mac palette on and off for two years now and I finished only Brule though I have some good dips.
That’s awesome, Fiona!!!!! Brûlée and the espresso shade literally have been in rotation for me over a year and even when I hit pan in Amber Lights it took month after month just to do that so I am evaluating if I want to finish it off. I’m proud of you for sticking with it!!!!!
Go for Juvia’s Place and add ND and z-palette shadows in as needed!

I think there’s a colour in that Mac palette called ‘Hey’ you might want to hang on to it cause I don’t think you can get it anymore. It’s one of my all time favourite shadows but I can no longer get it. But you might not care for it so much. Just an FYI , also love your videos and take care.
I think it would be fun to see you do something that’s practically new next year. I’m not sure your progress on the ND, but that one sounds intriguing.
That TriChrome would be an interesting dynamic- I definitely need to use it as a complement because there are so many strange greens and some oranges that I’m going to have to figure out🤣. I’m up for the challenge but it will certainly be some days of wondering if I can commit to a look🤣

@@beudmama oh peach is a great idea, I was thinking browns/burgundy because I’m boring but I think peach will be nicer. Definitely try the greens for a grinchy look lol!!
Love your progress Amber! And all the recent videos. So glad you can pump them out more often now. I’m struggling with my Natasha Denona Star palette but trying to push through and stay consistent ☺️
Oh good job on that MAC palette I have the cool one and panned only one shade and I used Bamboo and wedge like crazy and only have small dip those are so hard!
I’ve got that palette too! I’m already thinking through all the grey in that palette and possibly using that pan of carbon next year as the staple matte black. The espresso shade in warm neutrals has taken me well over a year and still here we are 🤣. All MAC shadows with any glimmer of pan deserve to be celebrated bc that is beyond persistent commitment ♥️
I love that you still do eye looks even though you are wearing glasses. I thought you wouldn’t be able to see my eye looks anymore since I got glssses. I need to give contacts a break so this is inspiring 🫶🏾
