The Savage by The Shadows Cover

This is my cover of the instrumental classic The Savage, recorded by The Shadows (Hank Marvin lead guitarist). I'm using my Burns Marvin guitar here. Standard no modifications to the guitar. All guitar echo effects are coming through the foot pedal, no effects on the amplifier.

I used to be in a band called the Foot Tappers, we were based in the UK. I spent many years going to Shadows guitar clubs, in derby, north notts, Yeovil, Scarborough, Blackpool, etc. I played bass for the band, but I also played lead or rhythm at clubs.

Well played and very nice. I used to play this with my band (40 years ago!!) but sadly my 74 year old arthritic fingers no longer have the speed and dexterity required for this number and I have to restrict myself to playing the slower melodies these days!!!
