Commanders release Brandon McManus after sexual assault lawsuit | Pro Football Talk | NFL on NBC
/ nflonnbc - Спорт
Brandon McManus sexual assault allegations.
Rashee Rice leaving the scene of an accident.
Harrison Butker giving a Catholic Commencement speech.
In who's mind are these the same?
The new commanders owners have no choice. They have to show they are NOT the old owners who would have let this slide.
Too risky .. they had to fire him ..
He’s a kicker….. they don’t feel like dealing with it
Should have not put himself in that position in the first place. Plenty of kickers around anyway

YOU MEAN DON'T BE ON THE TEAM PLANE???? WOMEN LIE, HOW ABOUT WE PROVE WHAT HAPPENED FIRST
@@ttttggggg636 Exactly! This me too and woke 💩 is getting out of hand.
That’s the scary thing as a man… Just an allegation can ruin everything. Hopefully he didn’t do anything, but I don’t know why they would make this up and company would let them take it to court
I don't know maybe money.....? Alot of men are in jail because of a woman lie.
McManus isn't good enough and the Commanders aren't good enough to deal with the distraction.
I don't think much about these lists...but we lost three first round picks (two in the top 10 picks) and three second picks because of the Russ and Sean trades. This is a developmental season, but that is why coaching matters.
They probably set him up on a tee and kicked him right through the goal post out the stadium
A bit of a weird tone on this one. Florio spent the bulk of the segment talking about McManus as if he is a victim.
Bad luck for us but we dont need this kind of bad press. Although the man deserves a fair trial.
NGL, I was hoping it was the kicker for the Cheifs
They have options, UFL has some good kickers
Kickers should been seen, not heard
respect to the commanders for not paying Him 250M Fully
guaranteed
In edge cases like this, especially since the season is still over three months away, I’m in favor of suspending a player while you investigate. Now I don’t know the behind-the-scenes stuff of course. Maybe there’s strong evidence he’s guilty of something. But for Rice to still have a job and this guy not seems pretty lame. They have video evidence of what Rice did and he committed multiple felonies, on camera! At any rate I think the NFLPA needs to negotiate a deal where punishment, based upon circumstances, is clear cut. I think Rice should be gone and Brandon should be suspended.
You think driving recklessly is the same as a guy who assaulted multiple women while they were working.🙄 You must be a big Watson fan.
A suspension in the offseason is, in essence, cutting them -they can't practice, they can't use the team facilities, and there already aren't any games to play. You're also asking a new team to wait for a lawsuit and investigation involving another team? It's not even like he was still on the Jags, and they can do a quick internal investigation. Do you want them to talk to the Jags, the alleged victims, the airline, and McManus, all while tiptoeing around the impending lawsuit? That's a lot to ask for a kicker. Comparing that to KC isn't relevant. Everyone knows Rice will get suspended once the legal stuff is handled. That's how the NFL suspensions always work.
@@drexlspivey3047 Rice driving is more dangerous because it could have resulted in multiple people killed. Also, Rice is proven guilty yet employed. Consistency is the goal. If you think its ok to fire based on accusations then how the heck does actual guilty proof escape it?

@@Kainteeka "Rice is proven guilty yet employed."
Rice has not been proven guilty in a court of law.

TREVOR BAUER , MATT ARIZA, NEVER FORGET
facts
Matt Araiza accused, lost his job with the Bills, civil suit withdrawn.
He paid having never been found guilty.
No one is saying he’s guilty he’s just not a position of importance and isn’t good enough to be worth keeping
Dude's career is over. He thought it was 2011 and he was at a party at Temple after a big win over Gettysburg College. He figured since he's 6'4" and worth millions, he could have a little fun, just grind on the stewardess a little. Times have changed. Those flight attendants couldn't get hired at Delta. They're not in the union; they make $24.37 / hour. Barely more than a Q'Doba manager. They saw dollar signs and a way to punch their ticket out.
He’s not guilty
