This is my first time watching your podcast and you were so on point with your questioning. I love how real you were and not afraid to ask the tough questions. Loved it!

Channing is the comedic relief on the show. Would love to hang with him for a few if I'm ever in ATLANTA. Peace and Blessings to all the Pivot Podcast.
Yo Mr Jay Hill is dope AF he asked all the right questions I like how Channing is answering all the question with the truth he’s not backing down great episode
1st time viewer, and immediately I can appreciate the questions and the way you moved this interview. Channing was comfortable and super engaging by the way you presented yourself and how real you got with him. Those IAA questions were on everyone's mind and you didn't let him have any of it easy. Way to go Young King
I like Mr Jay Hill asking these tough questions because honestly what he's asking is the same stuff I've been thinking the whole time...Channing not backing down either so I love it
Ain't nothing fake about Channing. he really doesn't care about anybody's opinion of him You either like him or don't. But what you see is what you get. You can't ask more than that from a person.
Dude you’re doing really good! We love Channing cause he the crazy uncle but he also got his values, but I’m really enjoying how you speaking for the people. Always stay in that light. “You took too fucking long” what a bar!
I like that Channing factors In his wife with the things he says on the pivot and how it affects her daily makes sense why he toned down on the freaky talk on the show
everything he spoke about emotion and business is really important. wow! i may have to listen again, things i need to hear. as a woman i find it very difficult to build boundaries both personally and professionally, hopefully one day i’ll develop this skill.
Real good conversation about the business end of IAA. I agree with Channing's solution of treating Brandon's investment like a loan and paying it back with interest before splitting profits to everyone. Don't forget that people's time is valuable too and everyone ran the risk of doing episodes for no money if it didn't work out. Glad they took care of all the business stuff up front on the Pivot.
Brandon took the financial risk. They wouldn't have paid it back if the show would've did bad. They only wanted in after they saw the money B was bringing in. O hate when people don't believe you upfront then when they see you getting it in now they believe after all has been invested. They should've signed an agreement that say's simply I'll get money on the back in of what ever amount. They didn't do that so now. You start making demands on something you didn't even believe in enough to put your own money behind it.
They definitely should have signed an agreement up front to avoid what happened. I think that's the lesson in this. Thankfully, IAA is still doing well and so is the Pivot so they learned something and they are still all winning.
@@busymom9997 it’s called sweat equity. They didn’t get paid anything season 1. They thought since they founded the company together that they would be partners but Brandon switched up once the money started coming in. He then began to treat them as employees which they did not want or agree to. Crowder took the talent fee at that point and Fred asked for his talent fee to be kept by the company but used as stock/equity. When Fred asked how much his stock was worth Brandon couldn’t give a number. Which is bullshit! Brandon switched up on his Day 1 guys and everyone he has tried to replace them with is gone. No one is there who he started with because he was screwing them all over. Now they are able to win together in a fair way on the pivot! We all feel the authenticity pivot brings so they the real winners here. Brandon didn’t deserve Fred or crowders talent 🤷🏿♂️
@@busymom9997 if they didn't believe in it, why were they doing the podcast? the podcast would not have been successful without them. you can't say because Brandon or money to the company, that he should be the only one to benefit if the other ppl also contributed the success. in fact, the pivot is much better than I am athlete. so we clearly see who drove the success. Channing agreed Brandon should pay himself back and also get interest in his money because of the risk. but after that everything should have been equal.
At 35:45, it was great to hear Channing speak about the structure of (the Pivot's) business because most of them are based off a pyramid (or mainly a triangle). You have (co-)owners, then the rest of the team on various levels.
Channing's cool. I don't always agree with him LOL Channing is honest, definitely respect his genuinous & sincerity & how much he loves his wife. Fred Taylor too people can feel authenticity & sincerity.
Exactly! Whenever we hear black people crying because other races treat them like they're inferior. We know they're mad because they honestly believe they are the dumbest race on the planet.
1st time watching, but the interviewer did his shit! Nobody holds people accountable for their words or has the brain to ask the right follow up questions in the moment like that anymore. I'd say this was 50/50! I feel like I know something about Channing that I didn't know from the other million interviews.
