For dosa kal it is not necessary to bought cast iron in saravana store pathara kadai i bought big iron square dosa kal for 500 and i seasoned it .. using that more than one year well and good.... A proper maintenance is enough that is use water to wash and scrub don't use soap or liquid that's enough

There is a correction இயம் means lead actually in bronze only tin is used and lead can never be able to be used as a cook wear as it is poisonous. We all are are terming tin as lead.
Seasoning means iron matha steel, aluminium mari reaady to use kedaiyadhu. Nama veetla palakanum na rice water 3 days oothi vachu palakuvanga.. Adha avangalae pannuna seasoning.. So that u can use it ar oncem.
