Beats out any other “YT relationship” couple. Hiking for MONTHS, dealing with dangerous situations, sharing a eating utensil with each other and still being in love? Omg
I agree, and I love how they switch off on the voiceovers. You can tell they spend a lot of time planning their content together. They are a power team for sure!
I love it when two people who are just seemingly meant for each other are together. These two and the couple with the weird hair cuts are on the opposite sides of the people spectrum but are in the same spot on the meant-to-be spectrum
they wouldnt be super useful without electricity. They dehydrate most of their stuff, that gets quite a bit harder to do without a dehydrator. They dont grow a garden, theyd not be very useful.
I’m doing my first thru hike (the Superior Hiking Trail) in about 1 month and I’ve been using your videos and website to help me with recipes and preparation. Thank you for all your amazing content! ❤🥾🌲
@@kittymcmeowmeow1they couldddd, with the social media money, get someone else to do with them as ceo. And work from the road, an hour a day. Probably too much tho tbh
I love how well-planned, balanced and made-at-home your food is! Nutrition makes such a big difference on the trail but it’s all too easy to sacrifice.
Everything I go camping I always pack alot of stuff that you guys pack and me and my brothers go on a long hike and by the way you guys are my favorite people in the world
I am hiking vicariously with you guys. All that planning stops me cold. The best I can do is a granola bar, an extra bottle of water and a couple miles on the trails with the dog!
I would love to try this sometime with my fiancé.We would probably do a two day trip to start and this just sounds like so much fun😍😍😍And very peaceful
I stumbled across your channel and watched too many shorts LOL but still couldn’t quite understand fully how you pack all the food. But now looking at it all laid out like that, dehydrated food really doesn’t take that much space AND WEIGHT!! This is incredible!!
Your caloric needs are so different from one another yet you eat out of the same dish… I'm so curious as to how you work that out! I love you guys so much! You make my heart happy!
Your videos are great! You guys should make your own protein granola bars! I haven't bought granola bars in years. I just bake the oats until ready, then I combine my wet ingredients in a pot to boil, and then add oats, fruits, chocolate, and protein powder in one bowl before pouring my wet ingredients on top. I then put it in a square pan, and put in fridge for at least 2-3 hours before cutting. They are so good!! I use honey, peanut butter, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and brownsugar in my wet ingredients.
You OWN every other hiker! You're the King and Queen of hiking. I feel like you need a plaque. Also... so you meal plan at home? I feel like you do. So organized. Better than me... I'd pack cheetos and chocolate. Lol
I’ve been watching y’all for a while and your content mixed with my professor’s interest in hiking trails has inspired me to plan my first hike! I plan to hike with my partner for a 3-6 night hike since we’re beginners. I was wondering if you had any tips or recommendations for trails for newbie hikers? I’ll definitely be using your videos as a guide!
Tea is a better choice than coffee. You dont get the caffeine blast which shortly wears off. Tea can be spread out through out the day. Tea bags are light.👍
When we did a week long one we went out with similar stuff, but we usually just bring a summer sausage, a couple tins of sardines and however many rolls we need for lunch along with mayo and mustard. And I tell you, those sandwiches tasted heavenly. oh also everyone gets a bag of hard candies for that little extra boost on a particularly rough hill lol
Tbh you guys kinda annoyed me when you popped up on my feed so often….but the more I watch you, the more I genuinely enjoy seeing your ideas and adventures. Makes me want to get back to hiking more. You got a new subscriber :)
I just started backpacking here in NZ and dehydrated/freeze dried food can be too expensive, especially for a student like me. Been following your page for some time now and see all your yummy DIY meals. Now, I want myself a dehydrator 🥹
Day 15: what if y’all go from the bottom tip of South America and go to the top tip of Canada (excluding the islands) unless you want to! Maybe even go to Greenland!
I saw today where Mountain House meals went up to $12 at Walmart here in Abingdon Virginia. Year before last they were $4.97. I’m glad I loaded up when I did.
You are living the life I dream of. Besides the hygiene part it seems like a fairytale to me. Something I aspire to be able to do just once before having kids.
dang yall do a lot of planning. i just try to have some seasoning and a way to catch and kill something to eat. maybe a couple cans of tuna and some jerky in case a hunt doesnt pan out
This is super mathematically mental to get my head around. I'm the most analytical person I know, but this would overwhelm me being so micro managed. I keep it simple, first thing is over coming any possible injury, small kit should be enough. I naturally fast once or twice a week but obviously can't do that under this type of pressure. I tend to go tuna and rice, trail mixes, coffee, probably not much else from that.
These two really are a match made in heaven

Literally couple goals😊
ok
You do know they're siblings?
This channel is so informative and entertaining! I love y’all, keep up the fantastic work!

Who's the couple with the weird hair lol
If an apocalypse ever happens I’m finding and staying with these two 😭
You, me and my two kids and husband 😩
Me too!!
Me four!

Honestly obsessed with your relationship
Indeed. Literal match made in heaven
He’s a cuck. She has an OF where she gets those cheeks clapped and he watches. Still so innocent?
Hard to argue when you’re tired!
Be obsessed with Jesus and your own life
Jesus Christ!

Have fun! We did part of the Superior Hiking Trail for our honeymoon. It's beautiful!!
how was it
You know, I'm surprised that y'all haven't started up your own backpack food company....
That takes a lot of time, and it seems like they would rather spend that time backpacking
They’re too busy walking across a continent 💀
@@kittymcmeowmeow1they couldddd, with the social media money, get someone else to do with them as ceo. And work from the road, an hour a day. Probably too much tho tbh
Yeaahh but not everything has to be monetized. Turning something you love into a job can ruin it for some people. It does for me
@@IAmCatElfI agree with you, but they've already made it a job by recording it and producing content
I love how well-planned, balanced and made-at-home your food is! Nutrition makes such a big difference on the trail but it’s all too easy to sacrifice.

I love watching and learning how organized and sufficient you are for hiking trips.
Y'all are one of the few people I appreciate watching. 😊
I do have a personal question tho
This is so cool! Would you mind doing a cost breakdown for the food and supplies needed to cook the food?
The Sierra mountains are so beautiful. I literally live 2 1/2 hours away. It’s so beautiful in the valley.
Could you show us more of the cold soaked foods and how they’re prepared? Your channel is so interesting and informative (-:
Cold-soak! I couldn’t catch that, I’m glad you did!
What a wonderful couple, Such exciting adventures ❤
So grateful I found your channel! I’m just getting into the jam of dehydrating food for the trail and you’ve got some awesome ideas! Thank you!
Do you have a hiker cookbook in the works? I dìd the Appalachian Trail in 2019. planning my 2024 CDT now. love the videos! Snowman ☃️
That's a great idea. I'd buy it
Me to
Yes please!
They have recepies on their Blog.😊
I’d definitely buy that!
What do you guys do for a living !? Just hike !? That’s a dream!! Good job guys 🔥 stay safe
I don't remember them specifically stating their jobs, but they have said they both work full time 9-5 office jobs.
She's an engineer and he's a scientist
I do backpacking with my family so this really hits home❤❤❤
I would love to try this sometime with my fiancé.We would probably do a two day trip to start and this just sounds like so much fun😍😍😍And very peaceful
You two are so inspirational
My partner & I are so inspired by you! Thank you for showing how this can bw done well & together. Happy adventures! Hugs from milwaukee wi
That is amazing I personally bring an few extra meals and extra supplies for in case the weather goes bad and I have to stay put for a day or two.
Currently at Mt.Rainer NP and did a short hike along the PCT and thought of y’all’s informative channel. Thanks and stay safe!!!
Incredible. Nothing but respect for you two.👍
I am always impressed how, through experience, scienced the hell out of whole food issue
We just went on a hiking trip in Germany for the first time and it was so fun…but we’re so not used to it 😂😢
Would you possibly make a video about some of the recipes you use for your dinners? They look delicious!
I stumbled across your channel and watched too many shorts LOL but still couldn’t quite understand fully how you pack all the food. But now looking at it all laid out like that, dehydrated food really doesn’t take that much space AND WEIGHT!! This is incredible!!
Something about this is really satisfying to me
It's so much work to plan food but so worth it. We had 2 adults and 3 huskies to plan for on our longest-so-far 13 day hike.

We made one! geni.us/Thruhikers . 🥰
Why do I find this so fascinating 😂 love it!

Y’all should do a video series of your food prep. I would love to watch and use some tips and tricks y’all have learned.

Me and my wife love your guys channel ! 🫡
Hello, so good to see you two.
So I so wish you just had a cook book. But also can't wait to read your book!!!

Thats what i love about hiking its all about eating
Six lunches, thirty six snacks. They really have their priorities straight 💯
I’ve never tried cold soaking while backpacking. That doesn’t look half bad!
Relationship and life goals.

So lucky to be free to do this!
You guys should start your own dehydrated food company. Your meals always look so good.
That food looks delicious
While I’m over here like “ain’t no way that would last me 6 nights shit be gone in 3 days tops” 🤣
Dehydrated pears are my favorite
Your videos are so great! I learn something every time I watch! Also, why has no one mentioned the "watermelon snow" early in the video? Cool algae!
You are living the life I dream of. Besides the hygiene part it seems like a fairytale to me. Something I aspire to be able to do just once before having kids.
Wow such impressive planning
I'd love to hike from Ottawa Canada to Mexico with you one time. I walk 6-8 hours a day. And a quiet hiker too.
You guys are great, and the food looks yummy.
These guys are living the life wow
The effort you put into food is your superpower. If you bought food to take the salt and preservatives alone would just be counterproductive. 😇
the coconut PB oats look so good!!! would love a recipe for it
I would love to see your recipes! 😊😊😊
Beat channel ever!! Y’all are so cool
That is amazing!!
Ehat a joy its to see these guys, so real unlike rhe glitzzy, ditzy you tubers
Y’all are amazing yay for y’all much love
I think you guys are amazing. Because honestly, I think I would cry if I had to sleep outside in the cold like that.
I’m so impressed!
this is so smart economical and healthy
I have coffee in the morning and a hamburger for lunch, and what ever I can get for dinner :)
Begging for a dehydrated meals cook book from you two!
Love watching these!
Ahh.. nuts in the oats looks good. Gotta have protein for breakfast. Thanks for sharing!

Your meals look so good and easy, I could have them at home! You should totally start a business selling those dehydrated meals.
If you did eat these foods at home your life would change. Not debatable.
Very organized
Wow!! So many "hardcore" preppers can learn SO MUCH from you guys.... I hope they're watching!! 🤣🤣. 👃✌️🥰🇨🇦
this looks like such a fun life icl
I would carry an extra bag of milled flax seeds and add two tablespoons to your coffee every morning.
We need scary stories !!!!
What do you guys do when you encounter wild potentially dangerous animals?😮 Love your content ❤
Thank you for the tips 😊
Do you guys ever do cheat meals? Would love to see what those look like
You guys I want to be like you are when i grow up y are such inspiration awesome ❤
