Your headliner is not meant to hang anything and can not take the weight for long. It's thin and the fabric is glued on. Hanging stuff from there might be cute but you're going to pull it down.
I love how homely you make your living space. All the pink and plants look so pretty and you have a very clever and logical way of storing everything. Is your rear seat out or half out? I can't quite tell. I went car camping a couple of weeks ago and took the bum part of the rear seat out and then the back rest part laid pretty much level with the boot area which worked well. Being a 2 door hatchback id imagine it has less room than your car. A 4 door car like yours is definitely better for getting in and out the living area. I enjoyed the tour so thankyou so much for sharing 😊🌻
Thank you Sage 😊 the back seat is half out, which I like because I’m able to sit back there and it makes it easier to get in and out of the car. I’d imagine a two door would be tricky to get in and out of but it’s so cool you went car camping! These days I try to keep the mindset of do what I can with what I have until I have what I’m working towards. When you do get your caddy van 🚐 if that’s what you decide to do, it’ll seem so roomy compared to your car and you’ll have the car camping experience to help you out ✨
To pee, I have a protein shaker bottle. It's seriously best to keep it simple so you don't have accidents. A good bottle with a large opening and a tight lid, maybe a good handle, is gold.
I have a like hospitals grade container to pee in, it’s an Amazon find and has a wide opening and a handle with a glow in dark lid, but I found out if I pour some pinesol in it? I can go three days and it won’t sink up my micro shelter if I do that.
@@MicroShelterGuy Yep, it's the bacteria that smells. I add a little alcohol - or even bleach but I wouldn't recommend that because bleach and ammonia should never be mixed and urine can have a lot of ammonia if someone is dehydrated - and there's never any smell.
Thank you Laura! 💖 I picked out the sheet I used a few years ago- when I first got the van I converted. I had no idea then it would be for a window cover in my car but it’s cool to think about how it came to be while going to sleep lol.. I’m grateful for the journey I’m on!
Use spray adhesive to attach that sign to ceiling! Thats what I did with my decoration spray adhesive is amazing! I know I’m 6 months late I’m sure you already figured it out! lol. But I love your decor it’s so cute!!! I wish I could do alot with mine it’s kinda basic because I’ve got a no build small Audi and I want to trade it in soon. But happy car life girl🥳
Now that I am looking at this, it makes me think how hard it must be to give your car for service and then setting it all again. Hats off to your spirit!
Girl! I play violin and have a Corolla! I just bought mine and am planning to fulfill my dream by taking a month-long road trip in it and living out of my car. Nothing like the awesomeness you are managing, but you are 100% inspiring and informing me. :)
I wonder would you ever remove the passanger seat for more room? Or would that give away your stealth? It must be tempting. The little additions make it more cozy, i wonder if we will see yet another iteration of your setup. Im sure you're not done 😂
I probably won’t remove the passenger seat- at least not at this point. It is about the stealth and also I like to have that seat to use for food while delivery driving. It also makes a separate living area from the driving area and there is something about that I like. But who knows, maybe I’ll remove it someday! Yes lol there will most likely be more updates! I’m always arranging and rearranging- it’s something I really enjoy 😊
That’s cool! There’s a tree called a Rowan too.. also called a mountain ash. I’ve looked into it a little bit and it’s got some neat history and lore about it.
Brilliant video Rowan! Really enjoyed everything about it :) If possible in the future, could you do a video revving up your car? So we can hear how it sounds!
Brilliant stuff! That would be really good if you could do a video revving up your car whilst it is static. Sure your car sounds lovely 😊 If you could also do a pedal shot whilst you rev your car up that would br great too! Keep up the good videos :)
Why don’t you remove the seats??? Like all of them ? Like if you own the car outright? If you don’t? Why not get a storage unit and keep all the seats you’ll remove in there til you wanna like sell it and put them back? You’d get more space if you did that but you do you gorgeous ❤
Not while the window cover is up, which it usually is. I can see out the back side window where the curtain is though, and it’s like driving the cargo van I used to have- it just requires a lot road awareness.
Lol I prefer the word cozy 😆 but yea it’s a very small space.. I’m making it work for now and it gets great gas mileage! Good for doordashing and Uber 👍
That happens to me sometimes when I watch UA-cam videos and I find if I close out and open it again it usually works… hopefully that’ll work for you! ✨
What a home is to one person may be different for another. What I have learned is that I am able to define for myself what “home” is for me and what “success” is for me, based on my personal life, my values, my own integrity. I do not blindly follow what is being sold as success in our society. I have owned a home and had a career and it did not bring the inner peace I thought it would. I have learned what does, and that is what I am pursuing. To me, this car was a home, and my current car is a home. It is okay for you and I to have different opinions about that, and at the end of the day, it is MY home, and you are free to choose a home that works for you. We are blessed to have that freedom!
Some of us are tired of fighting for an "American standard of living" (aka the America dream), just to be drowning is medical debt and student loans. America is not what it used to be, and the younger generations are starting to accept that a retirement and being a homeowner is only for the lucky or elite. I have a degree in chemistry and I'm about to move into my car, even though I work full time at a pharmaceutical company. I did everything I was told, and I can still barely survive in a one bedroom apartment.
I am 74 years of age and am contemplating trying it out for a week in the late spring. I ended up sleeping in my 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring when the elevators were broken in my apt. building. I was on 10th floor ... with a young dog.. Seats reclined all the way back. Always had supplies in there along with a pillow, quilt and throw. Nice to open your eyes to sunrise.
You might try upholstery pins to hang your sign to the headliner. They screw in versus a normal straight pin which falls out.
Ok thanks! I’ll check them out 😁

this car is one of the cutest and well thought out
Thank you 🙏 that is a huge compliment and I appreciate it! 💖
😊I too am seriously considering living in my car for 9 months 😊
@@monicaramirez51015 go for it! it’s got its challenges but it’s worth it to me to be able to get ahead financially.
God. What kind of person lives in a car?!? Oh me. Doh.😮 #diginomad
Lol 😂 #carlife

Aww 🥰 Strawberry Shortcake pillow. Never seen that for years.❤
what happens when someone breaks into your car and steals everything?
Love it Rowen! So where did you get your purse??
I love your plant shelf idea! Does it affect your ability to see when you are driving? And how do you keep it from dumping over when you drive?
What do you use for your bed?
I love your setup... so beautiful and practical. Those car shades are gorgeous! 💖💖💖🙏

When possible leave drivers seat empty, then you can drive of if your hassled or there's an emergency.
Stay safe on your journey.
I like the tip on using Velcro to hold a curtain in place.
howmany differrent cars have you lived in over the past year and which did you like the best
Enjoyed your tour and it’s very pretty ❤️
Thank you Carol 💖
Great set up for that small car.
you remind me so much of Brooke Whipple, Girl in the Woods.
Cute strawberry shortcake decor! I love the strawberry pillows.
Súper me encanta como tienes organizado tu carro y como adornas con flores, gracias por tu video❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gracias! 🙏
You have such a fairy, whimsical vibe and so does your decor. Love it!
Awesome setup, one of the best and cutest i've seen in such a small space
I believe this is the first step against rent Mafia.
Love your strawberry shortcake! Cool

Well, I do have both. I have family, and I have the current home of my choice- my car.
Nice 🦋

I honestly can't think of anything worse than living in a vehicle other than being homeless on the streets 😢
lol well hopefully you have other options! I wish you the best!
Will you mary me? Queen
I wouldn't put anything near the rear window; the rear defroster will be destroyed in no time.
Good to know!
