I had an ex-brother-in-law who got caught driving drunk. He actually said to the Cop "I'm home, can you please take me drunk?" SO glad there was a divorce getting that fool out of my life's picture.
When I was 17 I was driving a small motorcycle and almost got hit by a drunk driver in front of my house. Black car, night, no lights, driving in the middle of the street. Drunk drivers are potential murderer. There is absolutely no excuse.
Since this event I was never ever driving when drinking more than one glass of beer/wine.

1982 in a small town called Warra near Roma in a 60k zone on the highway. Got hit head-on IN MY LANE by a drunken cowcocky's 19yo son who had cut the corner. He went for .19 . My fiance and I spent the next 6 months in hospital and rehab with broken everything, lost my career in the Army. He was driving a ute with a huge roo-bar. We were on a motorcycle, daytime, white helmets and headlight on didn't save us. I was unconscious, went headfirst into his windscreen at a combined speed of 120. The idiot got out, stumbled over to me, nudged me with his boot, turned to his mates and said 'this bastards dead'. Sent my fiance into shock. Hope he burns in hell!
Something like half of all motorcycle deaths happen due to alcohol, either the rider drinking or another driver.

the footage is sped up, probably by about 2x. for the speed she was travelling i think it was a relatively safe distance when you're ready for her to do something stupid

got no hassles with cops getting drunk drivers or phone users and giving them the full hit with all they deserve my brother was lucky not to be killed when 18 by a drunk driver on highway 31 near Wagga turnoff by a drunk driver pulling a styock car on a trailer overtaking 2 semi trailers around a blind curve across a double line and have ever since hated anyone that drink drives and the phone users are worse mt son says they are all hunting pokemon and i will call cops on either ones as they are not usually the ones hurt but some poor innocent driver they hit or some pedestrian. Only surprise was it was a female the shorts are usual in Queensland for cops due to weather and also like how it shows how much less our cops in Aussie are always ready for war.
That’s just abhorrent behaviour from that driver. I’m so glad the DC was behind her the whole way to check on her. Her driving was disgusting and she should not only have her license taken from her but she should be locked up! And this is myself that has been done for DD. I was only meters from home and in the suburbs at 2pm at night. My coppa said that she didn’t actually believe that I was over the limit, and quite frankly neither did I! I’ve never stepped foot into the drivers seat while ANY alcohol has been in my system and that was 15 years ago! I’ll never ‘risk it’ again! Not fucking worth it!
