@@mississippitornado6842 that is the point: supposedly. Team eternal literally wins one tournament after another so no assumptions necessary there. E.g. In one of the comments here otz replied and pointed out that the survivors are very familiar with that kind of settings we see in the video. That further indicates that the killer players arent. (Aside from the fact that it probably would have been mentioned in the video as well) Like I am very certain this would look different if the survivors would keep their individual skill but you remove the comp experience they have. Same might be true for the killer players. That aside playing perfectly can never result in a win if the other side plays perfectly as well. At that point it is up to the form of the players, rng and a little bit of luck. E.g. Huntress was unlucky with the deliverance play which did cost her the draw. Deathslinger was lucky by hooking the deliverance guy first and he actually got the 2k.
Two great Otz videos back to back! How wonderful! 😄 However I must point out how terrible I felt for both of the killers while watching, it's clear that they're both good as well as for the survivors but the amount of kills they got felt pathetic compared to the skill level they're on.
Even the cancelled match showed that things can spiral down for Survivors very quickly. Don't forget these are quite literally the best Survivors in the world, playing in a setting they're very much used to. Even getting 5 stages against them is a great result.
Because DBD has 4x as many survivor players as there are killer players, the devs have to make the game balanced in favor of the survivors so the large relatively casual playerbase will keep playing as it is more important for those four to be happy than the single killer to be. This means at very high levels of play the game is shifted significantly in favor of the survivors winning, and incredibly talented survivors like these will make that more obvious.
@@notOtzdarva well Mr. "Not" Otz I'd beg to differ. While I can't say that any of the players in those matches weren't at an extremly high level that alone destroys your point. This was meant to show what a Best Huntress and Best Slinger could do against the Best Survivor Team. By this logic if two sides are seemingly at the same level of skill it should end in a perfect middle ground as it did with the 3 round (Slinger) the killer gets 2 kills and the survivors get a two man escape. However the fact that in 6 games this only happened once when the killer tehnically had the biggest advantage tells me that something here is wrong
Against these kind of cracked suvivors Deathslinger defenetly has the advantige, that he can get the survs injured relativley easy (or at least has an easyer time than other killers) but on average-middle strong comp players, i still think huntress is better. She can shred throu multyble healthstates really fast, and tiny mistakes from the surv side can lead to a down verry quickly. Also her camp is really strong, and she can pressure survs (more or less) across the map, and can split thit pressure on multyble survs.
I think in pubs huntress is queen. she can take advantage of chaos amongst solo queue survivors and get free injuries. When it comes to coordinated high level play Slinger is one of THE best 1v1ers in the game and can make the best survivors look like fools. I think these two are so close in comparison I don't think I'd judge anyone for thinking one is stronger than the other.
I think it’s more a case of reliability. Huntress can snowball better but is also more mistake-reliant. Whereas slinger’s chase is definitely less explosive but stronger and overall more reliable.
Huntress is always stronger than Deathslinger, hence why you always see her and not him. Even with STBFL, Deathslinger's time to down is longer than hatchet into hatchet. He can be good at getting injures, but not downs.
@Sir Go0se your inability to read past grammar mistakes without complaining hurts. Have you thought about how english isn't everyone's first language or that often times talking over text most people just don't care or shorten how they speak?
@@misanthropicworld6958 Quickscope automatically fixes the character. Actually getting rewarded for having good aim and reactions by getting quicker downs.
What these videos have taught me is that the course and outcome of a match is like 80% decided by the survivors. The killer's skill and choice of killer matters, but against good survivors (like all good not even great) with no "weak link" the killer is going to struggle if they aren't playing Blight or Nurse. Survivor mistakes matter much much more than the killer playing well.
Yh the average match the survivors wont have comms all the time so it makes it a little less strict but for the most part the games slightly survivor sided
This is why I think slinger is more consistent, but huntress is more explosive. Slinger represents the most overall consistency. He can pressure multiple people with his deep wounds, he can stop pallet saves, makes DS less impactful because he can change their position. Huntress still has to play high wall loops fairly straight and the fact that she needs to go to a locker and take a reload where slinger can just reload on the spot is MASSIVE if survivors can keep cool and dodge
It really says something that if a killer that is not blight, nurse or myers with tombstone piece with the best addons and perks and plays perfectly they can barely get a 2k against a coordinated sfw.
The game design encourages tunneling, since one dead survivor == less gen speed. If the game was designed around getting most hooks possible, it would be far more tolerable. How to define it as such: A - total repair speed, regardless of the survivors alive, is constant. So, if one survivor dies, all other get gen speed repair BUFF to compensate. WHILE lowering base repair speed. Now the gens, even with optimal repair, will be completed at the EXACT same speed regardless if all 4, 3, 2 or 1 survivors at once work on them. This makes the game not decided by the first down, since it accomplishes nothing. And, likewise, camping/tunneling is useless, since all other survivors just get a repair speed buff to compensate. Second: Every recently rescued survivor LOSES THEIR HITBOX. They cannot be targeted by killer, cannot body-block anybody, or do anything (DC rules, if they do anything productive, invincibility is gone). This does not apply when Exit gates are powered (think basekit Off the record on steroids). Now, all killers GET 3 POWERS/get more power budget. Example: Huntress’ hatchets can home onto survivors (curve around the walls, hit things at a distance reliable) Bubba can teleport through the map like dredge, one time, with a long cool down. Lastly, all M1 attacks get PERMANENT 8 stacks of STBFL. This makes M2 attack more reliable/with greater potential, but they all come at a longer wipe animation (100% longer compared to swift M1s). This way, all M1 killers are stronger and all M2 killers are moderately weaker, relatively. Lastly, the aura of FURTHEST survivor is revealed to the killer when at least 1 survivor is hooked for X second. The moment they enter chase, this ability is lost. Boom. Fair, linear in progression game.
What are you talking about? The killers didn't play perfectly. If anything the survivors played closer to perfect. 2k is a draw btw. There's always misinformed dbd players that act like the 4 best survivors in the world winning means the game is unfair for killer.
@@bouncyshow3266 the killers played the best they could haved especially with the pressure of being watched, having to multitask and do split second decisions and the survivors didn't even had the best items and builds so even if deathslinger and huntress are A tier killers they couldn't beat them.
I find it hilarious that people say the game is Killer-sided and then in competitive matches people with 10k+ hours go "Daaaaamn bro the deathslinger got ONE hook stage more than half of the possible total that's craaaaaaazy!" All players involved were insanely good btw, I wouldn't have realized Cigar so quickly.
I find it hilarious how you took games of a champion level SWF, with 10k hours each, on comms, who play this game competitively and somehow think their performance means this game with a 61/39% winrate in the Killer's favor is not Killer sided lol. This is the 1% top tier survivors versing below average speed Killers who are generally considered average in strength across the entire Killer roster. Most Survivors, swf or not, are not nearly this coordinated.
@emoneestep3244 I've seen those statistics by the devs but I'm not sure what counts as a "win" for that. There's no way that 61% of killer games are a 4k.
@@emoneestep Did you miss the games where survivors with heavy restrictions 4-men escaped against killers whose sole restriction was "play with your base character without add-ons"?
@@emoneestep Their statistics are about as skewed as this experiment is. They take their data set from everywhere, regardless of skill level and platform. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that in the lower half of the skill bracket the game becomes killer sided. When neither side has any clue what they're doing it's easy for survivors just outright die. You can play M1 trapper with no power or addons and still 4k easily. It's once you start getting into the higher brackets that those scales start tipping quickly. Once they're at least good enough to accomplish 3 things they can start overpowering killers easily. Learn how to use pallets and windows in their simplest forms. No frills, no flash, no risk. Just using the resources available to the bare minimum to prevent from dying quickly in chase. Like just pre drop everything on the game and you're already most of the way there. Second is knowing when to hold M1 on gens. As long as they're passed the phase of spooking the moment they hear even a microsecond of the outer edge of a killers terror radius they're golden. Just sit on a gen until it's your turn to get chased. Third and final one is not to be confused as shit and waste time. Don't be the brand new claudette crouch walking around the corner of the map not sure what to do or where to go next. See the shiny generator lamps poking out and run to them. Once they're gotten some semblance of these three skills they start to catch up VERY quickly to killer. And from there it's just about refinement. From everything I'd seen of DBD over the years since it released I've always held the exact same opinion. This game is less about what the killer does right and more about what the survivors do wrong. As killer sometimes even if you play as well as you can reasonably expect in a given scenario you still lose out to the survivor. And even the tiniest of mistakes pile on very heavily. Where as in a lot of scenarios if you win hard it's all about the survivors making mistakes. Making greedy choices, being overly altruistic, falling for a bait, misplays with mechanics, ect.
This was a tremendous showcase, I've been solely maining the deathslinger since around the blight's release and recently p100'd him. I have to commend everyone on their skill here I was learning shots deathslinger could land even after all my time playing him. That shot at 19:02 around the cactus was insane and allowed for extremely good early game pressure getting that many injures
We might have gotten to a point in which huntress has been around so long comp teams know exactly how to run her forever and slinger might be slightly more favorable because of his shooting through objects jank
Comp teams are extremely knowledgeable on how to run deathslinger. Slinger is actually quite common in comp so they have to be. If you noticed slinger didn't get that many crazy shots, the survs expected a lot of the shots Bruhslinger went for.
@@sonodv1709 I would call some of the shots unexpected on dead dawg, the shack shot and shooting through the gaps around survivors was pretty unorthodox

I really wish BHVR would add a separate sensitivity slider for ranged killers like Slinger who need to hold and aim their power. I use a low DPI so naturally when I ADS with Slinger I can barely even look left or right.
@@KaufeeCake It's not a user error. I've been playing FPS games for 15 years. A very high percentage of players play with lower DPI so you don't overshoot with your mouse and have to then correct your aim to the head/target which is what you'd see on higher DPI. I shouldn't have to be forced to alter what I feel comfortable playing with just because BHVR can't include basic features in their game settings. Hell, you can't even change individual graphics settings. What I'm getting at is that if I wanted the aiming sensitivity to feel comfortable then the regular looking sensitivity would need to be WAY higher. It's not just as simple as "lol bro just increase your DPI"

These Videos Show how broken the Survivor Side is. Even with special rules like "No perks can be used twice in the Team" or "items only until yellow and every item only ones" they still end these rounds not even close. 1-3 hooks for a professionell killer and not even a bad one Shows that survivors are much stronger then killers (Nurse and blight not counting since they are too strong)
Survivors have to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And now they don't even have to listen, just notice the visual terror radius as the game continues to hold their hand in game. And if it were *really* about accessibility, they would add the visual survivor sound and visual generator progress cue for killers that exists on mobile, too.
True, but keep in mind this is at the absolute top level. Not so survivor sided for most players in reality. The hierarchy kinda goes like this: Nurse/Blight/Spirit > SwF > Other killers > Solo-Q / incomplete swf. Since most surv players are the last group, for most people I think the game over all is a lot more balanced then this video implies.
On the top level you either play Nurse/Blight or lose, while in game you can play anybody and do well. It shows that Pro. DBD and DBD are two diffrent games, although Pro. DBD shows us some of core DBD's flaws
I think a lot of people underrate slinger, since he got his nerf a while ago, a lot of people act like he's bad. I think he definitely comes close to huntress, especially in close to mid range he is still very hard to react to and he makes a lot of loops and pallets incredibly unsafe, in the direct 1v1 on some loops slinger may even be better than huntress but huntress is probably the more complete package of the two. she's got more snowball potential and she can injure over way greater range than slinger.
I think even Eternal has to give that Slinger credit. If nothing else, he made them sweat for a second. That’s more than any of us backseat gamers can probably say against a team like eternal.
I was there for the showcase even the canceled one, got to say hats down to both survivors and killers for those games, they really showcased good tactics good teamwork and it was really amazing. I'm impressed with all of them. Thanks for the cool showcase otz you're amazing keep up the great work and congratz for the sponsorship
If you really want to know which character is better , you need to write every single situation out on a paper and then compare advantages vs disadvantages of each killer , what he could do and what counters are available to the survivors and depending on the amount , you would know which one ON PAPER is better but obviously it will depend on player skill in the end. It's a lot more work but it is what it is.
Testing against just the one group. however good they are, is just poor science anyway lol. For many, i hope, obvious reasons but mostly because it's a bad sample size.
Good luck finding a killer who'd want to VS several similar groups however many times you want to build your data set. I'm pretty sure both of these killers were in their 20's at the start of the experiment and currently look like they're a few moons passed retirement age.
StealthSlinger is my favorite killer in this game. Nothing beats a warry survivor stealthing around being met with a BANG before being in danger. I use Trails of Torment+Sloppy/Nurses to pull this off.
the royal court of ranged attacks huntress: the queen deathslinger: the king trickster: the court jester doctor: the executioner's assistant clown: the random duke that constantly has problems with his land plague: the head priest artist: the duke's cheating wife cenobite: the executioner and of course the executioner is head of ethics and morality
2:12 According to the DbD subreddit mods, that would be impossible, as there was no such ddos issue in the game They're totally, absolutely correct, with no chance of giving biased answers
I love playing the both of them but lately I’ve started playing Huntress more and had more fun with her. This is a super interesting video, hope I’d get to be like that soon.
Kinda of bullshit that even with the best add ons Slinger and Huntress still struggle against really good survivors, because they have no pressure. Also, deliverance should really deactivate during endgame or at least have the 15 sec protection removed to prevent free escapes like that Huntress game that allowed the survivor to get hatch.
This is just how comp dbd goes, no mattrr if ur playing blight and nurse survivors will always get 5 gens done 90% of the time because of how survivor sided the game can be
Interesting to learn about vaults and pallets with a chain break. Had something similar against a Weaker. Got grabbed and run towards shack window, reflexively hit vault and I actually broke out of the Weskers grip and vaulted out the window. Only ever happened the once
These games were insane. Were these under the new Heal changes? Since if so, its pretty insane just how well the Survs did under all the restrictions n stuff.
Healing doesn't seem to have been a major factor. Heal pressure would've only been a big thing if the killers were juggling multiple survivors constantly. But in these matches they struggled to get a single chase closed out. Huntress in her first match legit got ran for almost all of her gens. The only one who ended up getting good pressure was deathslinger in the end. Maybe the removal of self healing from CoC could've made that last deathslinger game harder but I don't think it would've changed the outcome of these games by a lot.
Ive always liked ma boy slinger more and will always think hes better. easier to use, way more rewarding and punishing. also better perks in general. ( which still isnt saying much lol)
He is far more consistent. That is like Bubba VS Billy situation. Billy CAN be better, but in most situations Bubba is simply more reliable. Being reliable is more powerful than being somewhat stronger if stars A, B and C align OR while playing on an inhuman level of performance. Reason being? Human factor. No human plays perfectly optimally == disadvantages and weaknesses of characters are more prominent than their strengths. So, having a character with less disadvantages/couterplay mean far more VS optimal SWF than a character with MAYBE somewhat stronger performance in situation A B C. One leads to consistent performance. Another one is not.
As a Slinger Main: My Mouth is drooling, and my eyes are falling out of their sockets from those clean plays. Exactly the reason i main slinger :D Edit: WOO i got a like from otz! Much love yall
As another Death Slinger player, I am happy to witness such fine gameplay. Even tho the first one was way too scared to shoot for some reason and missed a lot of opportunities.
I think the exact opposite and it's the reason Slinger is significantly more fun to me than Huntress. Huntress you have a slow wind-up and then you move at a snail's pace while the axe is readied. Slinger can aim in 400ms and fire instantly in addition to not having to worry about his projectiles accidentally hitting some object before the survivor. Huntress is absolutely stronger than Slinger is and has a ton of advantages over him but she is certainly clunkier than he is.
I think the exact opposite, I find him much more smooth. Having an ADS and reloading wherever you please without stopping at lockers is extremely nice. He also aims and holsters much faster and loses less distance while readying his power.
How is this game 50/50 when the survivors had massive restrictions, and the killer could use everything, the best perks/add'ons on the most killer sided map and they were still struggling to get 1-2kills.

I think the firecracker's hitbox is slightly above the ground, so if you're close, this can definitely happened. The timing was still perfect because it forced him to look away at the most critical time.
I’m sorry this game isn’t just “Survivor sided” or “Killer sided”. It’s SWF sided and games like this are why Nurse and Blight are needed which I hate saying but it’s the truth.
Thats what you call cordinated team work. Something 99% of the teams dont have in youre avarage match/ discord calls or the dbd discord even with communication 😅

The healing update would have been shit. The only people who can’t understand that are people that haven’t ever played solo queue. If y’all would tell the devs to fix the killer spectrum instead of just constantly whining about deadhard, we wouldn’t have these dumb useless changes that do nothing except make the weakest role in the game weaker, and the two strongest killers in the game even more disconnected from the rest of the roster.
@@fart63 you can even counter dh with strats. People are just lazy to focus on thier mistakes or to do things different. They just want a no brain match without using thier braincells. 😅
It doesnt really show who the better killer is but it definetly does show how disgustingly op survivor squads (swf) are with the ability to communicate with each other and how planable games are at least to a certain degree Thats the reason why i dont play killer if you play against solo queues its okayish because you can already tell if they are bloody noobs, average or just really good but whenever u face a swf you can tell by the moves they do and plays they pull off which are by chances not possible in solo queues because of several reasons except you use perks for that specific purpose but you dont need them because of communication in a swf Communication is a huge part many people seem to underestimate but it gives u advantage of several perks It lets you constantly know where the killer is, where your survivor mate is, how the progress on which gen is etc it completely destroys the surprise effect on a killer which is a big part for some killer strategies
Slinger does have a lower average chase in comp, and also a big reason slinger is good is bayshores cigar, which lets him 2 tap even good players. Most comp players agree slinger is better lol his cooldowns are better he doesnt have to break chase to reload he can hit through more angles and his windup and speed being better makes him get more hits. only thing huntress has over slinger is a) better 2 taps against bad players(which bayshores slinger does better in general anyways) who run into a wall and b) better camping.
its really strange the amount of people who think that slinger is so much worse than huntress when its the opposite, and its barely even an opinion with how much slinger has over her.
Issue with that is the best wraith, is Zaka, the best ghost face is Zaka, and one of the best survivors (team etr) is Zaka aswell. Disclaimer: This is my opinion, and tbf best wraith is an exaggeration, I do believe that the best ghost face is Zaka tho.
@@Josh-ru6kc they can always sub out one survivor and also if both killers are the same person I think that’d be even better because I’d been fully even between the two
Before watching video: Huntress’s power can do a lot more in more situations then Slinger’s power can. After watching video: It seems like those “situations” are common in low ranked lobbies but with high ranked survivors the huntress has a difficult time using her power for pressure. While the slinger seems to be way more consistent at winning at most tiles and securing a down.

This just shows again how unbalanced the game is from the base on haha, solo q survivors get melted by a nurse, but she is the only killer at the same time that can keep up with a swf
Nurse bodies swf, she doesn’t just ”keep up with them” and solo queue get decimated by even the weakest killers, let alone nurse and blight. This game will never be balanced. Behavior couldn’t care less about making solo play functional.
@@fart63 yeah its pretty sad. they do not to make solo-play functional. they invent all these really stupid aura-reading perks to just bloat the perk web for no reason whatsoever and then SWF just has all these aura perks by default because... you can communicate with other survivors. All the killer are so garbage that playing vs actual survivors that are efficient and can play is mess. its always been mess. Why is dbd like this? Why does dbd balance killer against lowest common detonator and why does it not provide the basic information tools for non-communicative SWF to play better? The fact that dbd makes soloq survivor impossible balance makes killer impossible balance and the overall experience is that both sides are unfun for different reasons.
@@dodang_9147 they refuse to pick a spot for balance. Their killer roster is so convoluted that even if they tried to balance the game now it wouldn’t work. They need to rework almost every killer
These games were good but high tier dbd becomes really boring to me with how good the survivors are, it is just hook one person camp, 5 gens get done instantly, try to get hooks or kills when the survivors play altruisticly. Idk it is just kinda boring, like the skill is impressive to see but I can't say I enjoy watching it, especially since these games just are way too fast, I don't see how this can be fixed either, I think just playing to win is kinda lame and not fun for both the killer who usually camps or tunnels or the survivors who gen rush. Like I'm not saying none of this is impressive both the killer and the survivors are extremely good at this game. I just can't imagine putting myself in this and having any fun in either side, but maybe I'm just not competitive or desire to win that much, I am more the type to play suboptimal if it means it is more fun to me or even if I lose so this is just another realm for me.

Honestly this just makes me kinda happy that the latest ptb is giving a solid reload time buff to huntress and trickster while giving deathslinger a minor reload speed buff to his basekit and buffing the aim down sights addons. Not much but it does go a little ways to making these killers able to do more by shaving small amounts of time off at the core.

There is a bug when playing survivor that makes you dc: Sometimes, when working on a gen, you will randomly dc for some reason as soon as the gen hits 99% progress, making you disconnect from the match. It happened to me yesterday and a few hours ago. Be wary of this bug, for it can commonly happen for no reason Note that there is a second bug that a friend told me about: They have looted a chest from the basement to heal and got a brown medkit. That aside playing perfectly can never result in a win if the other side plays perfectly as well.

Two great Otz videos back to back! How wonderful! 😄
However I must point out how terrible I felt for both of the killers while watching, it's clear that they're both good as well as for the survivors but the amount of kills they got felt pathetic compared to the skill level they're on.
Game is garbage as killer
@@agony_addict huntress and slinger are not the strongest killers so they won't get "balanced" results against the best survivors.

Yep, almost entirely dependent on survivor mistakes.
@@Doonango more than slightly
@@islixxn fr
@@islixxn it's not survivor sided but swf sided.
How to define it as such:
A - total repair speed, regardless of the survivors alive, is constant.
Example: Huntress’ hatchets can home onto survivors (curve around the walls, hit things at a distance reliable)
Bubba can teleport through the map like dredge, one time, with a long cool down.
Coordinated swf does not equal the best team in the world, coordinated swf is nowhere near this level of skill.
It wasnt even a 2k it was 2 hooks. Big difference
I find it hilarious that people say the game is Killer-sided and then in competitive matches people with 10k+ hours go "Daaaaamn bro the deathslinger got ONE hook stage more than half of the possible total that's craaaaaaazy!"
All players involved were insanely good btw, I wouldn't have realized Cigar so quickly.
This community is full of biased toxic survivors, get used to it.

Not gonna lie man. That’s kind of a user error. All you have to do is…turn up your dpi.
@@_tokyodriftings also pro killers ._.
The hierarchy kinda goes like this:
Nurse/Blight/Spirit > SwF > Other killers > Solo-Q / incomplete swf.
Imo greatest range from huntress only good if survivor stacked in open field and only when he’s on injured
I think even Eternal has to give that Slinger credit. If nothing else, he made them sweat for a second. That’s more than any of us backseat gamers can probably say against a team like eternal.

Its nutty how fast those Gens got slammed, damn

The thing with Slinger is that he is like PH, clunky and "slow". Better or not he is definitely less smooth to play than Huntress.
I think the exact opposite and it's the reason Slinger is significantly more fun to me than Huntress. Huntress you have a slow wind-up and then you move at a snail's pace while the axe is readied. @@notOtzdarva Didn't know that, The more you know! Thank you.
I’m sorry this game isn’t just “Survivor sided” or “Killer sided”. It’s SWF sided and games like this are why Nurse and Blight are needed which I hate saying but it’s the truth.
Thanks Otz for the Youtooz I'm gonna put my Huntress in a jar and wraith right next to it.
This survivors played so good. No mistakes.
Thats what you call cordinated team work. Something 99% of the teams dont have in youre avarage match/ discord calls or the dbd discord even with communication 😅
I remember watching this live on stream, that deliverance/hatch play are still as beautiful as i remember
Don't worry, the survivor healing nerf should balance this?
Aaaaaaand the healing nerf's been canceled.
Yup 😍
And than we have "Stabby's little sister" (that troll we all hate) going around and saying that we should have 5s DS, that we shoulde get old DH, and that overall that the game is killer sided and that it should be always survivor sided since they're the majority and everybody else has to please them. To this I have to say: I'm running NOED every game from now on! Have fun!
@@agony_addict NO NO NOED
@@notalentpotato33 yes, yes NOED
These survivor showcases are awesome!
It doesnt really show who the better killer is but it definetly does show how disgustingly op survivor squads (swf) are with the ability to communicate with each other and how planable games are at least to a certain degree
Thats the reason why i dont play killer if you play against solo queues its okayish because you can already tell if they are bloody noobs, average or just really good but whenever u face a swf you can tell by the moves they do and plays they pull off which are by chances not possible in solo queues because of several reasons except you use perks for that specific purpose but you dont need them because of communication in a swf
Communication is a huge part many people seem to underestimate but it gives u advantage of several perks
It lets you constantly know where the killer is, where your survivor mate is, how the progress on which gen is etc it completely destroys the surprise effect on a killer which is a big part for some killer strategies
Now we gotta see wraith vs ghostface
Issue with that is the best wraith, is Zaka, the best ghost face is Zaka, and one of the best survivors (team etr) is Zaka aswell.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion, and tbf best wraith is an exaggeration, I do believe that the best ghost face is Zaka tho.
@@Josh-ru6kc they can always sub out one survivor and also if both killers are the same person I think that’d be even better because I’d been fully even between the two
Just imagine 0 hooks and kills and there you have it.
Boring, they are gonna get destroyed even in indoor maps
Before watching video:
Huntress’s power can do a lot more in more situations then Slinger’s power can.
After watching video:
It seems like those “situations” are common in low ranked lobbies but with high ranked survivors the huntress has a difficult time using her power for pressure. While the slinger seems to be way more consistent at winning at most tiles and securing a down.
28:23 LMFAO
Honestly I think the last match more than anything shows how busted Power Struggle/Flip Flop is in the hands of an amazing comp team.
"We pushed these killers to the limit..."
"So these are the rules so that noone actually pushes the game to the limit and it's the tiniest bit entertaining, not like a regular no-restrictions match."
Final match had no restrictions for killer..
@@Kap01 Still had restrictions for survivors to make it easier on the killer, otherwise they'd get shat on even worse than they did in the video.
This video was so fun to watch I hope to see more of this format in the future
"That was one of the best Deathslinger games I've ever seen" -the guy who held the world record for fastest 4k with Deathslinger for over a year
These games were good but high tier dbd becomes really boring to me with how good the survivors are, it is just hook one person camp, 5 gens get done instantly, try to get hooks or kills when the survivors play altruisticly.
Yeah the game is really survivor sided so this is how most matches turn out, the hosts put restrictions on survivors but even that isnt enough
the deathslinger shots through gaps are just [chef's kiss]
Just goes to show that even insane killers struggle super hard against swf that dont bring super sweat builds even if the killer brings what they want
Very good video i enjoyed watching it. the survivors were nutty as well as that deathslingers insane shots glad you didnt cut out the last match
These Survivors were not a normal swf though. They are literal DBD tournament champions.
@@emoneestep
“Tournament champions” in a survivor sided game 🤭
@@sxerwin ok let me rephrase what he said, that team is not only the dbd champions but also have never once lost a dbd comp game
@@Josh-ru6kc you just proved his point that this game is very swf surv sided
@@emoneestep These killers weren't normal killers either. They were top tier mains hand selected precisely because they were the best and considered to be on the same level as the survivors. And where as these guys could bring whatever they want this team brought builds that would get laughed at in solo queue for being memes, and they couldn't even bring toolboxes or medkits.
When a comp nurse can still lose a match you know something is funky somewhere.
The A&N in the sponsored section was cute, so wholesome.
What an incredible performance from the survivors
these guys all played so amazing. Didny even know dbd players got this good.
How can huntress compare when the deathslinger slings death?
My hot take is that huntress would have had a better last match with the exhaustion addon instead of the 1hit
"Dbd is pretty balanced game"
It is, if the killer is like 3x times better than the survivors the game is pretty close.
@@iheartz2742 but on hight mmr, or tournaments there is no bad survivors. There is only SWFs that can abuse every unbalanced thing in the game, like totems, map offerings and stuff
To be fair its incredibly hard to balance a 1 vs 4 game well.
@@mgow.8098 the again take into the fact that the killers and survivors all have similar playtime and experiences. But there are for survivors so 4x the experience on the survivor side.
If you take knightlights nurse and put it against a swf with 2k hours each he 4k’s every single time.
@@Meitti it is, but just few changes it will make it a lot more balanced, like a 30 seconds corrupt intervention and a fire up base kit.
This...... really didn't feel like a skill showcase. This just felt sad.
what do you mean ? it showed their skill in camping and tunneling
Otz Youtooz when? Need that on my desk right this instant!
As a survivor, it is more scary coming up against a good Huntress than Deathslinger
As a Killer, it is more scary to just boot up the game and remember the shit you'll have to go through if you don't Alt+F4 immediately.
That final Slinger game was the most entertaining competitive game I've ever watched! I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat for the endgame. GG!
no! 😡
Realistically as a deathslinger main the huntress is mostly stronger when it comes to killer tier list but the deathslinger realistically is the better 1v1 range killer
It's crazy to me that people enjoy watching this level of play knowing that the game is this imbalanced. "The killer got no one, but he hooked 5 times! what a game!"
Survivors only compliment the killer when they all escape. "Wow what a great killer!"
Boring, and I used to play this thing(comp)
There is a bug when playing survivor that makes you dc:
Sometimes, when working on a gen, you will randomly dc for some reason as soon as the gen hits 99% progress, making you disconnect from the match. It happened to me yesterday and a few hours ago. Be wary of this bug, for it can commonly happen for no reason
Note that there is a second bug that a friend told me about: They have looted a chest from the basement to heal and got a brown medkit. When they used the medkit, immediately the charges went from 100% to 0% in a milisecond as soon as they started healing. The bugs have already been reported but just be cautious of these bugs. Have a good day!
This video just shows how strong survivors are and how much control they have
