  • We cross into Bosnia & Herzegovina, the 11th country of our bikepacking trip across Europe. We run into some major challenges as we try to find a place to camp, then we head back towards Croatia as we encounter even more difficulties. Possibly our biggest sufferfest video of the trip!

That's my country - Bosnia and Herzegovina! Had I known your route - you could've stayed at my brother's place in Zagreb, at a friend's in Ljubljana, at my place in Tuzla (northeastern Bosnia)...but great videos, nonetheless!

If you’re everr in northern Germany you are welcome by us on your next advneture. I suggest doing the route from Germany to the Arctic circle of Scandinavia.. it’s so beautiful you wouldn’t believe. And you can legally camp almost anywhere

Lol the spider incident :) people are generally more eager to let you in their house as you go south, especially in those little villages where tourists are rare specie :) , off course big cities tourist places are different

A new subscriber. Love the videos. What is your primary navigation system?

Thanks for subscribing! We used a combination of things for navigation, I think we're probably going to do a video on the route and navigation after we finish posting the series. The main App I used is called Komoot, I think it worked pretty well, but there were some issues with it.

A new subscriber, I really enjoy your travels to new countries. You should visit and explore some East Asian countries such as Japan, China and Korea. Their alluring and an out of this world culture. Australia would be an interesting place to explore with unique wildlife and probably friendly people. Looking forward to your future vlogs😊!

8:13 - careful what you wish for, that could cause a full collapse of the food chain.

I love your coverage! Can I ask a techie question? How do you manage storage of videos taken during your trip? Do you have lots of SD cards? Do you manage to find internet connections so that you can get them into the cloud. Manufacturers like GoPro seem to be intent on forcing to use only their system which probably doesn't suit a lot of people. Just a few pointers would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Unfortunately, we ended up just keeping everything on SD cards for the entire trip. It felt like a huge risk and I worried about it constantly. Fortunately everything was okay and we didn’t have any major technical issues. At the end, we ended up with about 2.5 TB of content that I had to then backup to an external hard drive. I tried a few options along the way but nothing really worked. I tried backing up to flash drives and spare SD cards using an iPhone but the write speed was so slow, that it just didn’t work. In the future, the best solution might be to bring a small laptop or tablet and backup to an external HD along the way, but that’s extra weight. I don’t upload to the cloud (expect our iPhones) because uploading that amount of content to the cloud can be time consuming, expensive and difficult to retrieve.
